My son got into the car, pulled his shirt over his head and sobbed. He asked me for a beanie on the way home because he was so embarrassed about his hair. So the story is my son wanted to change his hair from long and curly to a shorter haircut. I know my son; he is not the best at explaining himself. Seems most boys are not the best at this, so I said, "Hey find a picture and bring it with you so they know exactly what you want." So, he did see picture #1. Not my style but hey it is what the kids are into, and it said the guard # right on the picture (important for later). Simple enough right? Should be a 5-star review, what could possibly go wrong? Before we go too far here, a bit of context, I am in a different room and cannot see him from the waiting area. He comes out with a buzz cut, not shape-up done on the front of his hair to clean it up. See picture #2 and #3. He said he wanted to go and would tell me in the car. So I paid the $39 for this cut, plus the $5 tip. Now we are caught up with the part where my son pulls his shirt over his head. I consoled him because I hate to see my kids feeling this bad after something he was excited about. He takes pride in his hair see picture #4 (Side note, do you notice the smile?). I give him a minute then ask him if he is ok to talk. I asked him did he showed the stylist the picture. He said yes, and that she started the cut with the clippers already set well below the 12 guard in the picture. My son thought it was a 2 and looking at pictures #2 and #3 I have no reason to doubt him. What I did not say to my son was, "Now do you see why it is important to bring your glasses everywhere?". Just not the time. So yeah, not the Saturday afternoon any of us expected. Shame too, this place was recommended to me by my boss. Edit: Post Bazooka Charlie response. A picture is worth a thousand words. The hair cut was far off from the example my son provided. Shorter, wrong guard used no shape up work done. The response I get is my son is lying to me or at least leaving things out. So let's assume my son is the problem, and your staff is amazing. That 3 one star reviews of the 4 reviews you received in the last 4 months are just flukes. That your initial reaction leading with criticism of me and only wanting my feedback at the end was a sincere desire to fix the situation. Looking at it this way can you possibly see how I might feel your location is poorly ran? read more

They messed me up don't go here they don't know how to fade and they don't even know how to do basic stuff like tapers trust me do not go here read more

My husband went in for a haircut and beard trim. He didn't even get his hair washed, he doesn't have a ton of hair but for the price I would have expected it. Also, his haircut wasn't any better than what I could have done. Disappointed and won't be going back. read more

Bazooka Charlie's Barber - Hair wasn't blended, looked choppy. 60 plus bucks and tip on top - Hair Salons Near Me - Keller, Texas

I had been utilizing this place for about 2 years things were fine up until several months ago. Stylists being moved to inconvenient locations and it just didn't make sense. I'm not going to drive to another location to work with someone. Hopefully this sorts itself out eventually but have been forced to go elsewhere. read more

Love the stylists here! Keep up the amazing work! Love seeing you folks every time! Great trims as well!

I've searched high and low for an affordable barbershop for my kids that do a great job. This place is a hidden gem. The staff are kind, helpful, quick to cut and not to mention offer free drinks to customers. We have no issues making an appointment or walk in. It's the first barbershop my kids actually look forward to going to where the vibe isn't weird. Some of these barbershops in Keller are overpriced, weird convos going on and just overall awkward vibe. This spot I definitely feel comfortable and relaxed with who cuts their hair. Selena and Nikkia do an awesome job with high fades and line ups so I recommend them. read more

Stephanie was amazing! I never have received a nose wax and it was totally not bad. Thank yall again so much!

I came here after a bad haircut and Denise fixed it. I was so nervous that I was going to have to walk around wearing what someone else had given me. But nope! Ever since, I have been coming here for my haircuts to Denise and I have never been disappointed. Great place! I definitely recommend Denise, but I'm sure everyone else is amazing! read more

I've been bringing my sons and hubs to Jennie at this location for a while now - we can trust her with great cuts and she is always on time! Highly recommend! read more

First time customer! I have passed by this location several times and thought I would give them a shot. I was not disappointed! I set an appointment on-line and was able to walk in and get seated pretty fast. Everyone was very friendly, but I need to do a special shout-out for Susan! Super friendly and she did an exceptional job with my hair! I was so impressed that not only will I be back to Bazooka Charlies, but I made sure to get her card so I can request her next time! Great job guys! See you soon. read more

$30 and had me in and out of her chair in 6-8 minutes total. Apparently majority of their stylist have come from great clips down the street..let's just say the quality of their haircuts is identical with what you'd get at great clips..only difference is great clips will only charge you $12. Save your time..money and your hair from this establishment..take it all elsewhere! Coming from someone who has a background in cosmetology....their employees here are truly pitiful. JENNY. DO NOT SEE HER!!! Shouldn't even have a cosmetology license. UPDATE- thanks for nothing Justin. Including the 5 minute $30 haircut I received. You and your staff are truly pitiful and have not a clue how to run a snow cone stand much less a barbershop. I've reported your company to better business bureau as well as Jenny to the texas board of cosmetology. Might I also recommend opening a barbershop (or any business for that matter) you should understand basic customer service skills. Also no problem Jenny coming from Great clips...but if I wanted a $12 haircut that's where I would have went. Nice to know that your establishment is exactly what you'll get at greatclips..only will upcharge and gouge your clients. YIKES! Can't even imagine bringing children in this establishment, if the text from the owner below doesn't scream "Rage and Anger" then Im not sure what does. Also last time I'll trust a "barbershop" cutting my hair when the business owner doesn't even have hair :) Also born and raised in Keller Texas and have a ton of connections in the area..I'll be sure to tell EVERYONE in the area not to go here. Go to great clips and save some $ and get a better haircut. read more

Atmosphere is nice and I received a good haircut. My only issue is turnover, you go to book again and that person is no longer at that location. read more

They did a full service hair cut, straight razor, and beard trim. My lady was very nice. I loved the hair cut. Price was a bit high but maybe that was just me. Only weird thing was this crazy boisterous laugh coming from the back. Like really loud. It was funny but it was a lot too. Great place all around though. read more

Came in for what I thought was a pretty simple haircut. Had been growing my hair out for several months, and just needed to get the sides cleaned up. I left with what could only be described as Brian Bosworth circa 1987. Literally the worst "fade" in the history of haircuts. So bad I didn't dare to ask Denise to attempt at fixing it. Even the poor stylist to my left kept shooting her looks throughout the haircut. I honestly thought she wasn't done with it until she said, "ok let's shampoo you". I paid, left, and went over to Southlake to get it fixed. I had no interest whatsoever in discussing how bad I looked and just wanted to get out of there. The barber I say next laughed as I took my hat off and asked if I had gotten drunk and tried to cut my hair myself. It was THAT BAD. read more

Bazooka Charlie's Barber - bad cut - Hair Salons Near Me - Keller, Texas

Finding a stylist for a special needs child is difficult. Our 7 year old son will not keep still and can easily experience sensory overload. We had a wonderful stylist (special needs mama) pre-pandemic but she closed during the summer of 2020. When booking the appointment online I informed the of our son's challenges. When we arrived for the appointment not only were the staff inviting, but they went above and beyond for my son. Chloe B was phenomenal with my son. She was patient, kind, calm, understanding, and great at her craft. We are so grateful for this experience and hopeful to have an inviting environment to take our son. read more

First time here and my stylist was Souky. My haircut turned out great and I am very satisfied with the cut. I got the major haircut with a nose wax and it wasn't as bad as I had thought. I will be a future client here. read more

Love this place so hospitable they are so kind and they gave me free drinks this place is awesome can't wait to get a haircut

Jessilyn does such an amazing job. Her vibe was amazing and my color is beautiful! :)

Hands down, one of the best barbershops I've been to, and that's compared to 18|8 and The Boardroom. I followed Kim from her old barbershop to here. She's great to get along with, gets the job done quickly, and always remembers what type of haircut and beard trim I want without reminding her. Go see her. You will not be disappointed. read more

I'll keep it real, here. $45 for cut at this joint is too much. The youngish stylist i had was pretty good but not on an elite level, yet. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. read more

Great place. Sofie is awesome and all staff is so friendly and accommodating. Love this place and will continue to go there.

they lied to me apparently about the 30 days prior cancellation after I wanted to get my membership removed. They are going to charge me even though I won't be going there anymore. I had surgery and was not informed of my lady leaving due to not having my phone while being hospitalized. I asked general basic questions and was met with disrespectful tones and responses. Now that are refusing to cancel my membership. Do not go here. Unless you want to be ripped off. I was respectful and kind until I was poorly treated. The original lady when I called said " That is above my pay grade ma'am" all I did was ask if I was able to get refunded since I was not able to go or even use it since I was hospitalized. I would have totally went back if it was not for how rude they were to me. They do not deserve my money or yours. read more
