My son got into the car, pulled his shirt over his head and sobbed. He asked me for a beanie on the way home because he was so embarrassed about his hair. So the story is my son wanted to change his hair from long and curly to a shorter haircut. I know my son; he is not the best at explaining himself. Seems most boys are not the best at this, so I said, "Hey find a picture and bring it with you so they know exactly what you want." So, he did see picture #1. Not my style but hey it is what the kids are into, and it said the guard # right on the picture (important for later). Simple enough right? Should be a 5-star review, what could possibly go wrong? Before we go too far here, a bit of context, I am in a different room and cannot see him from the waiting area. He comes out with a buzz cut, not shape-up done on the front of his hair to clean it up. See picture #2 and #3. He said he wanted to go and would tell me in the car. So I paid the $39 for this cut, plus the $5 tip. Now we are caught up with the part where my son pulls his shirt over his head. I consoled him because I hate to see my kids feeling this bad after something he was excited about. He takes pride in his hair see picture #4 (Side note, do you notice the smile?). I give him a minute then ask him if he is ok to talk. I asked him did he showed the stylist the picture. He said yes, and that she started the cut with the clippers already set well below the 12 guard in the picture. My son thought it was a 2 and looking at pictures #2 and #3 I have no reason to doubt him. What I did not say to my son was, "Now do you see why it is important to bring your glasses everywhere?". Just not the time. So yeah, not the Saturday afternoon any of us expected. Shame too, this place was recommended to me by my boss. Edit: Post Bazooka Charlie response. A picture is worth a thousand words. The hair cut was far off from the example my son provided. Shorter, wrong guard used no shape up work done. The response I get is my son is lying to me or at least leaving things out. So let's assume my son is the problem, and your staff is amazing. That 3 one star reviews of the 4 reviews you received in the last 4 months are just flukes. That your initial reaction leading with criticism of me and only wanting my feedback at the end was a sincere desire to fix the situation. I've searched high and low for an affordable barbershop for my kids that do a great job. This place is a hidden gem. The staff are kind, helpful, quick to cut and not to mention offer free drinks to customers. We have no issues making an appointment or walk in. It's the first barbershop my kids actually look forward to going to where the vibe isn't weird. Some of these barbershops in Keller are overpriced, weird convos going on and just overall awkward vibe. This spot I definitely feel comfortable and relaxed with who cuts their hair. Apparently majority of their stylist have come from great clips down the street..let's just say the quality of their haircuts is identical with what you'd get at great clips..only difference is great clips will only charge you $12. Save your time..money and your hair from this establishment..take it all elsewhere! Coming from someone who has a background in cosmetology....their employees here are truly pitiful. JENNY. DO NOT SEE HER!!! Shouldn't even have a cosmetology license. UPDATE- thanks for nothing Justin. Including the 5 minute $30 haircut I received. You and your staff are truly pitiful and have not a clue how to run a snow cone stand much less a barbershop. They did a full service hair cut, straight razor, and beard trim. My lady was very nice. I loved the hair cut. Price was a bit high but maybe that was just me. Came in for what I thought was a pretty simple haircut. Had been growing my hair out for several months, and just needed to get the sides cleaned up. I left with what could only be described as Brian Bosworth circa 1987. Literally the worst "fade" in the history of haircuts. So bad I didn't dare to ask Denise to attempt at fixing it. Even the poor stylist to my left kept shooting her looks throughout the haircut. I honestly thought she wasn't done with it until she said, "ok let's shampoo you". I paid, left, and went over to Southlake to get it fixed. I had no interest whatsoever in discussing how bad I looked and just wanted to get out of there. Finding a stylist for a special needs child is difficult. Our 7 year old son will not keep still and can easily experience sensory overload. We had a wonderful stylist (special needs mama) pre-pandemic but she closed during the summer of 2020. When booking the appointment online I informed the of our son's challenges. When we arrived for the appointment not only were the staff inviting, but they went above and beyond for my son. Chloe B was phenomenal with my son. She was patient, kind, calm, understanding, and great at her craft. We are so grateful for this experience and hopeful to have an inviting environment to take our son. read more

they lied to me apparently about the 30 days prior cancellation after I wanted to get my membership removed. They are going to charge me even though I won't be going there anymore. I had surgery and was not informed of my lady leaving due to not having my phone while being hospitalized. I asked general basic questions and was met with disrespectful tones and responses. Now that are refusing to cancel my membership. Do not go here. Unless you want to be ripped off. I was respectful and kind until I was poorly treated. The original lady when I called said " That is above my pay grade ma'am" all I did was ask if I was able to get refunded since I was not able to go or even use it since I was hospitalized. I would have totally went back if it was not for how rude they were to me. They do not deserve my money or yours. read more
