She is very friendly and super efficient at her job. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. She gave my daughter an excellent haircut, as well as some tips and tricks for tangles, and also a balloon, lollipop and a free headband of my daughter's choosing! It really doesn't get any better, friends. The store is always neat and tidy, with a fun play area for kids, video game area included. They also have 2 fun car themed chairs for kids under 5, with tvs to distract them if needed. read more

Set an appointment for my 3 kids. Arrived and they didn't seem to be monitoring the appointment log so we had to wait. They had 2 stylists and the one did all 3 of my children while the other proceeded to chit and chat take the whole time to work on one client who was just getting a basic fade. Amazing place to take your kids! I took my 17 month old for the first time today and he had a riot sitting in the Fire Truck and getting the royal treatment from Tamika. The price is just right at $12.95 and there was no wait at all. The salon is very clean and bright and very welcoming. There are tv screens playing at all of the chairs so all the kiddos will always be entertained! They also carry lots of products for kids. It is located beyond the entrance to Marshall Ridge right next to Subway. The owner is super sweet and came right up to introduce herself. Looks like it's not cared for well. But the worst part is that the stylist who did my daughter's hair was about to charge me $17 for cutting off an amount of hair that was so small, I could have held all of it pinched between my thumb and finger. It was such a small amount of hair that I could have fit it all in my belly button. I told her one to two inches and then I went to sit down towards the front of the salon to wait. Less than five minutes later, my daughter came out with nothing taken off of her at all. I had to tell the lady to go back and keep cutting and I had to show her what two inches was. When I came back to check on them, she had another stylist there showing her how to take off two inches. The end result was worth $5. Not $17 at all. read more

My kids got their haircut their for the first time a few weeks ago and I held off on writing a review because I wanted to see how the boys haircuts grew out to give my complete review. I am very impressed with Homaira! She was great with both boys and their haircuts turned out great. We have an issue with our oldest and how his hair always seems to flip out on the top of his head after a few weeks of the haircut. My husband explained this to Homaira and she explained that she needs to cut it a specific way and it will help from it not flipping/ sticking up. And after this haircut it has not done that! The kids were very impressed with the waiting area as well. They liked how their was a section for video games and then there was a section for the train set and play area. They were fully entertained before during and after their haircut. I would recommend this place! So far we have gone to about 4 different kid salons around the area and did not like ANY of those places. I think this will be our Go-To place for the boys read more

Where to begin. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and the kids were entertained. Lots of options to keep them happy from video games, to movies, to a train set. I came on my own with 4 kiddos and left with 4 awesome haircuts plus one for me. I never expected to get my own hair cut there but the kids were entertained and they offered. It was wonderful. Tumeaka did a wonderful job with my very picky 12 yo and with my hair. Kenna and Homiara were awesome as well. My daughter has very long hair that she is very particular about and I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to explain what she wanted, but Linh listened intently and executed it perfectly! She was careful, kept double checking with me if what she was doing was right, and took extra care in showing my daughter every step of the way that she wasn't cutting "too much" off. Horrible horrible horrible. I asked for my daughter's hair to be layered. It was cut straight across. Then my hair was cut. I asked for only an inch off. That was fine but then she took a round bristle brush (for my very long, very curly hair) and tried to rip out every hair on my head. Every section, she had to stop, turn off the hair dryer and pull my hair out of the brush because it tangled into it so badly. HURT so bad!! Just stop!! Please! If you don't know how to do curly hair DON'T! I wouldn't have given even one star if I didn't have to. Second time there, second time bad service. read more

We used to love coming here for both adult and kid's haircuts. Friendly, good haircutting skills, reasonable prices, and so close to home. The last time we were there however, our experience was not so pleasant. I had booked our appointments since I know the weekend can be busy. When we got there, the stylist we booked with was finishing up on one customer, so we waited patiently, no biggie since we were about 5 minutes early. After she was done, she approached us and asked if it's ok to do a quick cut on a walk-in. Ok, I figured it should not take too long, so we waited. Well, this cut took close to 30 minutes, so I was a little annoyed, since it kind of defeated the purpose of booking an appointment. The thing that really ticked me though was once it was our turn, she started talking to another stylist, making repeated comments about how she has not eaten lunch yet and how she's very hungry. I started feeling uncomfortable, like it was our fault that we took her time for lunch. I even asked if she would like to eat first because she just kept repeating her comments loud enough for everyone to hear. She brushed my offer off and finished our cuts. I don't think it should be on the customer to feel guilty that a worker has not eaten. It's already one thing to not keep an appointment time because she accommodated a walk-in; but to proceed and complain about lunch half the time while cutting a customer's hair is rude. The whole experience really was awkward and irritating. I doubt we will come back since we really felt like we were bothering her. read more
