Love this place. Haley Marie is amazing! They have great hours, open late and open on weekends. Prices are reasonable and they do a great job at making you feel welcome. I wanted to add to my review from a few months ago. I just want to say that Morgan and Hailey Marie both went out of their ways to make sure my hair was perfect for my wedding day, which was only 3 days away. There was some slight miscommunication about my appointment but they fixed it and made room for me. They didn't rush through getting my hair done, they made sure it was perfect. And it really was, the color matched my extensions that I was going to wear for the wedding. I wish my wedding vendors had as much class and work ethic as these ladies did. I didn't get a lot of pictures at the wedding because the photographer left without saying a word to anyone right before the wedding was about to start.. but I did get a couple. I came here last Friday to get my hair cut! I spent a ridiculous amount of time searching for a place that wasn't like Great Clips or Holiday Hair! I was in search of a reasonably priced, fun and hip environment. I waited nearly a month to get in for an appointment but the wait was surely worth it!! Hailey C. was the lucky girl to cut 16 inches off my hair!!!! I am donating 13 inches of it but she took off about another three as she cut and styled the rest. I had been growing my hair for almost 4 years and decided it was time to make a change! Fortunately I got the perfect girl for the job! I'm so pleased with my adorable hair cut. She also helped me to find the best shade of red hair color to complement my fair skin. Initially, I was skeptical how the cut was going to turn out, but I was proven wrong after the blow dry. Jackalope Beauty Lounge also sells Color Proof products. While the products are great, there was not much of a selection to choose from. The house barber is a straight up artist. Knowledgeable, skilled, and professional. Left feeling 100! Next day I'm at the office, my supervisor calls me into his office. Gives me a promotion and a huge raise. Two days later my crush asks me out on a date. At dinner I go to pay, the waiter says my money is no good and thanks me for coming in. Three days later I win the golf championship. Day four my childhood golden retriever "Buddy" that ran away 27 years ago returned home. My daughters and I had our first visit to Jackalope recently. We were all in need of some major hair therapy! My girls had their cuts with Hailey C. She was so good with my girls. I moved to Northwest Fort Worth a few months ago and had been looking for a new hair stylist when I found Jackalope on Yelp. I thought the reviews looked good, and the business was in a perfect location for me. I called up and spoke with Jillian (who was helpful and friendly), and got an appointment scheduled for the day of the week and time I needed without any issues. I thought their text and email reminders were helpful, too. When my appointment day arrived, I was incredibly nervous and excited. I was planning on cutting off about 12" of hair and getting a style that was quite different than the basic straight bob or plain, long hair-look I've sported for the better part of three decades. I couldn't wait to get rid of my mom bun and actually have a style that was easy and, well, stylish. Let me just say - Morgan is amazing. She talked with me about my cut, looked at the pictures I had, and was so reassuring, I knew I was going to walk out of there looking and feeling like a million bucks. And I did. She has given me my absolute favorite hairstyle of my life. It fits my needs perfectly. I went back to her about 4 weeks later for some highlights. I thought I wouldn't be able to love my hair more than I already did, but she blew me away. I've never been a highlighting kind of girl, but I'm 100% sold. So is my husband - even weeks after first getting my cut, he talks about how much he loves the style. As long as Morgan is within a relatively easy driving distance and doesn't mind cutting my hair, I will keep going to her. She's a talented stylist and just a great lady. Many thanks, Morgan. The atmosphere is so comfortable with great music playing, think indie rock Mumford and sons.. The ladies make you feel right at home and offer wine, coffee, teas. It's very clean and my favorite part is the shampoo BOWL people! Holy crap the bowl doesn't break your neck! I asked about this and they said they splurged for the special bowls, and I'm so glad they did! I have had a great experience with Meghan and my other friends have loved Morgan and Kristina as well! Jackelope beauty lounge saw my review and offered to fix my hair for free, which was extremely generous of them. Megan one of the owners called me and was extremely nice, I was a little hesitant because nobody wants to be "that" customer that complains and comes back in but i truly did want to give them another shot it was an adorable solon. Kristina who did my hair last time was the same one to do it again, it was a little awkward but that was expected. I ended up leaving with what i thought id get the first go around so that was good because you could actually tell i went lighter! So much lighter its sliver in some areas (at least now i know if i ever wanted to go for the granny look i could) haha probably going to end up putting a toner in it because it looks gray-ish but thats kinda in now, right? I am happy i went back and got to give them another shot! I will definitely tell my friends in the keller area because you can tell they truly do care about their customers and the work they do just be really specific ;) read more

This was my first visit with Haley and she is absolutely wonderful. Before picking up anything she asked me about my style- what I've had in the past, what I've liked, and what I didn't. I told her about the last time I straightened my hair and how horrible it looked, so after adding a few layers she straightened my hair to make sure everything was beyond satisfactory! I went here to get my updo done for prom and had a good experience. The salon is pretty small but the atmosphere is very clean and cute. I was greeted right away and told my wait time and was offered a drink. My stylist was very nice and was working with me on what I wanted my hair to be like. She did exactly what I wanted which I've had experiences where what I asked for wasn't exactly the same but here there was no problem. It is a little more pricey than the typical $50, for an updo here it will cost $65 plus tip but it was worth it to me because they did an amazing job! The only reason I chose 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I was trying to set up my appointment I had asked for a time and they stopped responding so I had to email again, not that big of a deal but just a little annoying.
