Oof. Just oof. Didn't notice until I got home and my husband took a picture of the back of my head to show me. I don't even want to go back to get it fixed. I guess my husband is going to get a crash course in evening this out. Been going here a while, never have the same girl because I always just get a really simple cut or trim. Need to find another place.

I've been coming here for about a year. The first girl I saw quit and they never notified me until I came in for an appointment. They didn't even try to get me in with someone else, just told me I had to reschedule. The girl I see now (Lisa Tran) is great. Went in today and saw this sign. Incredibly disappointing. I shouldn't have to ask you to wear a mask. Doing the bare minimum to protect us both is not a favor to me. I don't give my money to businesses that don't value the safety of their customers or employees. *Lisa already had a mask on so I didn't have to ask, but hardly anyone else did.

They did a gorgeous job on our hair for me and my daughter. It's her wedding day and it get hair is perfect!!!

Avoid this salon like the plague. It's long but worth the read. I had a haircut with Lisa Tran after my previous stylist, Asha, quit. I didn't think it would be a problem seeing a new stylist since I've never had a problem at The Knot. My curly hair was down to my butt in a V shape. I asked her to cut my hair straight across to get rid of the V shape, trim my dead ends off, and shape up my face framing. She cut my hair to bra strap length when it's straight. So in actuality, my curly hair comes down to my shoulders now. She took way more off than what I asked for. When she asked, "What do you think?" I said, "IT'S SHORT!" She said, "but fuller!" Um, that's not what I asked for. She made my face framing look awful by making two large cuts in the front on each side of my face that did not flow with the back of my head at all. It looks choppy. I leave the salon and put my hair up as soon as I get home. My baby hair is GONE. My baby hair was long enough to be pulled into my bun. I immediately have a break down. These baby hairs are so short they cannot be pinned in the back or tucked behind my ears in the front. I call the salon and ask to speak to the manager. Sabrina (the manager) tells me to text her the photos. I do. She never offered an apology or a refund. I had to ask for one! I requested the owner's contact information. Sabrina never provided it. I track down Asha and her new salon (I know now that I should have done this from the beginning). I schedule an emergency hair appointment. She had to cut my hair a little shorter to make it blend with the choppy face framing Lisa did. Not only that, but Asha had to take more hair in the front by my ears and cut them to blend in the baby hairs. She did the best she could with what she had to work with. Lisa is classified as a level 3 and Asha was a level 1 when she worked at the Knot. 3 is "better" than a 1. Clearly not since Asha has to clean up Lisa's work. My haircut was for my birthday after waiting 9 months to get it trimmed. I cried all day and called out of work because I was too embarrassed to go out in public looking like that. I can not wear my hair up for months until my baby hair grows back out since there is NOTHING I can do with them. I feel like I have been stripped of my identity. Lisa Tran has been styling for YEARS and this is her quality of work. Apparently Sabrina thinks my hair looks fine by defending Lisa, arguing with me, and not even offering me an apology. If you were a client of Asha Buchert she is now at Sofia Elaine Salon in Westlake. I'll save you the trouble of looking her up since The Knot claims they don't know where Asha went. The owner of Sofia Elaine is amazing, by the way. Here are the before and after photos of my head and the text thread with the manager. And to The Knot ... if you ask me to take down this review because you already gave me a refund the answer is NO. People deserve to see your quality of work and how you treat returning customers.

Where is the rest of my hair in the front? Your guess is as good as mine.

Went in because they were offering 50% off to get clients in post-covid. I thought to myself, well I'll go so I don't end up having a quarantine hair disaster trying to do it at home. I went from blonde to red and truly the color was very pretty. But the girl who did my hair kept insisting she curl it so she could take photos. Clearly it was just a way to get me to leave without seeing the mistakes. Even though I told her I almost never use heat on my hair, I was trying to be polite and let her curl it. Once I washed it at home I was in absolute shock. I've cut my hair at home before and never messed it up. I'm pretty sure by six year old cousin could have done a better job with safety scissors. Let me also say that what I discussed with the stylist was not a cut at all, but rather just a VERY light trim on my ends as I didn't want to lose any length. I called and the receptionist was kind of laughing as she took down my name which made me angry. I got in touch with the owner and when I sent her the photos. She responded by telling me that it looked like the stylist tried to do face framing layers and didn't blend them we'll. I insisted by hair was gone and could not be blended. She told me she'd been doing hair forever and if I came back in she'd fix it. She was nice enough, but working in customer service I have learned that matching a customer's tone is so important! Sending smiley faces and not taking things seriously when someone is telling you they're upset us not the way to go. When I got in to have it fixed her upbeat personality about the situation was very off putting, especially seeing as I was in tears. I was in the chair for roughly 5 minutes. She had assured me she could fix it, but I cried as I watch her take off more length and essentially just make it worse. I told her to stop and she said the only solutions would be to cut it all off to just below my chin or get a clip in to go in the front of my hair. ????? Gross. My hair is too fine to hide clip ins anywhere. Much less right in the front of my head. My hair grows so slow. The length it is shows how much it's grown from my shoulders in about 6 years. So yeah no that was not an option. I just cried and told her I wanted to go home. They refunded my money which was the only good thing about the experience. Too bad I can't get my tip back. Next time I'll just do it at home because at least if I messed up this bad it would be expected since my hair experience stops at age 5 and some Barbie dolls. DO NOT GO HERE!!

I got a perm and cut from Lisa and I'm in love!! Lisa was awesome, such a friendly hairstylist with a lot of helpful tips on how to help my hair. Can't wait to come back here again

I went to "The Knot Hair Salon" for the first time today & I'm so excited!! (Denise) made me look 10 years younger!! I was in terrible need of a hair makeover due to Covid & not being able to do anything w my hair for such a long time! I wanted a new look. Told her I wanted to brighten my face a bit. (A year shy of 60 .. I def need some sparkle!!)Lol Let's just say... She's A M A Z I N G & did exactly what I asked for! My husband loves it!! Thanks Denise!!!

Two ladies were upfront, one therapist and a front desk worker. They had no therapist available at the time and this was approx. 2pm. I told them I would continue to look for a place who could get me in immediately as my back was killing me. The front desk worker said, well we have a 5:20 pm spot. She said well do you want to book it just in case. I said sure. She said "we ask for a credit card on file, just in case you are a no show, we charge you". I said that make sense. I left and the next place I stopped said they could get me in immediately. I wrote the Xpress location in Keller right away to cancel. I received a response that said the appointment had been cancelled. Two days later I see a charge for over 50 dollars. I called the credit card company that I used, who refunded the money immediately because I have the cancellation text. I then called the facility who said that this is common practice, and their policy is that if you cancel or NO SHOW, you will be charged. Can you imagine this with any other service? I would like dinner at a nice restaurant but then you cancelled it and get charged for what you would have eaten. Or how about a car. I was going to buy a car but changed my mind and they still charged you for the car you should have bought, so that the salesman makes money. This is insanity and I will never be back to this location every again! I would caution you as well. This policy was never conveyed to me and the girl I spoke with on the phone said "oh she probably forgot". Umm yea because why would I ever agree to pay for a probable service? Horrible business. Update: the manager of this business wrote me and said yes we have evidence that our staff didn't advise you of the policy and that he would try to help me get my refund "even though my cc has already refunded the money", but when he saw this review he sent me a text at 11pm at night. "I saw your rediculous review on Yelp. I had told our system not to fight it because it was an honest mistake. But your lies on Yelp are stupidity. You never once on the video said you were going to look for another location for a faster massage. I will upload the video and audio to Yelp to show this. I was ok with eating the 30 dollar chargeback but now I'm going to fight it" These people are not just crooked but obviously have mental issues.

Highly recommend Anna! Not from here, but now making it a point to come and see her because of how…read morerelaxed I left! She's 'the beast' for a reason. See you soon!
