I see James, I've been going to him for about a year. He does an awesome job with my unruly curly hair. I get color and highlights and I'm always very happy. He now cuts my parents hair as well. They are always satisfied with their cut. (They can be hard to please) James has a very interesting life and enjoys talking about his family especially when he was growing up, he is a lot of fun to be around and always makes our time together enjoyable. I had Jennifer and I showed her a picture of what I wanted which was dark brown with a blonde money piece and blonde peekaboo highlights. When I showed her the picture I very clearly said I wanted not black but dark brown and what do I know I'm sitting in the chair my hair getting dyed all black. She gave me a cut and mind you I was crying while she was cutting my hair and I paid and left. I will never be coming back. If I wanted my hair to be all one color I would've saved myself a $100 and done it myself which I've done several times. So whoever wants to go to this salon I suggest anybody but Jennifer or not go at all. read more

A friend of mine brought me along to try out her stylist a couple weeks ago. Since mine had up and moved to Austin I hadnt had a good hair cut in ages. I was absolutely blown away by the work that Caitlin did! The experience was amazing as well. No big building with a waiting area here. They are private suites that make the experience personable and comfortable for everyone. The best thing about this? The price! Since the stylists don't have to pay such a hefty building fee, the customers get a reasonably priced cut/style/color. Let me state for the record that I hate getting my hair done. I don't like messing with it ever anyway, and when I'm finally ready to get a hair cut I usually tend to be at some mission critical point. I stalked my last steady hair dresser for years through a variety of locations and while I miss her mad talent, I really just need convenience and consistency in my life. Since Hightower Salons is up the road a piece, I gave them a try, left a message and was messaged back by Cassie within a few minutes. We slated an appointment (PLEASE keep the scissors out of my hands because my bangs are going to get it SOON!!) Each of the stylists at Hightower have their own little rooms, which is nice. I don't really want to hear everyone else's business - so that was an initial thumbs' up. And Cassie is awesome! Very personable, super giggly and even does really good hair. I'm one of those people who doesn't like any product so the cut needs to be just fine as it is with just a little assist of the hair dryer, a paddle brush and a curling brush. She took her time, listened to what I wanted, and spent LOTS of time tracking down all of my wispy bangs to cut them while accommodating my cowlick. So I'm a fan. Second visit was just as good, but I wasn't allowed to use her name for a couple of weeks while my requested especially short bangs grew out a little - because it did look a little ridiculous, but she only did what I asked! All told, shampoo cut and style was $35. I'm SO in for that. She totally gets 5 stars for just sporting an awesome personality and having the talent to back it up! Seen Kim for a full highlight, the end result was nice but she was a bit rough because she was in a bit of a hurry because she was running late. Tried to rush me out the door with wet hair too, but I asked her to dry it. She also dropped bleach on my face which caused a burn. Not happy with the overall service. read more

She did in one visit what my other stylist hadn't been able to do in several. Loved the cut and the color. She is very friendly and her prices are very reasonable as well. This place is literally across the street from my house. First time client to see Jennifer. First of all, It was very nice to be in a quiet and relaxed environment. High-tower Salons had a vendor there selling scented candles and it smelled nice. Jennifer had good communication and both called and texted me before hand to ensure I would make my appointment. I thought for a haircut that was priced on the higher end that she wouldn't be in such a hurry but she seemed rushed. My hair was pretty dry and damaged going in there and it would have been nice to put a small amount of product in my hair to lesson the yanks. I survived the countless ouchies!. The haircut was mediocre at best. Just moved to the area and this was a good fit at first glance, but what I paid for a 15 minute haircut, I left really disappointed. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES.....I participated in a charity event/fund raiser at work and the money raised was for the Houston/Florida hurricane victims. The raffle was a full set of eye lashes and I was the winner of this raffle along with another employee. I call her to set an appointment from by work phone and mentioned to her that I was the raffle winner and she hung up the phone. I called her back thinking that we were disconnected and she turn the phone off, so I call her from my cell phone which she answered. After a long back and forth thru text, she stated that she needed the information from me of the person that referred me to her. I told her it was a gift certificate which I sent her a picture of. She then told me she have never issued this gift certificate so she was not going to honor it, and if I want to get my lashes done with her I need to pay $99.00. My thinking was that this was a nice thing she was doing so I even mentioned to my coworkers that I was going to give her a big tip like $50.00 due to the fact she was not going to make money with me. After she told me she was not going to honor this raffle event I told her I was willing to pay and asked her to give me the address of the Azle Spa due to I only have the one in Watauga , she said sure, I requested this a couple of times and tried to confirm my appointment a couple of times but no answer. Well finally 8 hrs later she confirmed the appointment but did not send me the address, gave me the name of the spa and told me to google. Next day she tried to move by appointment form 10: 00 am to 1:00 pm this Debora lady do not have the touch for customer services and she is not very professional, and this is without knowing her or ever meet her, just wandering how professional she is with her services and in person.
