All I have to say is book with Kennady! I came in for a Brazilian sugaring wax, and let's just say... I was very overdue. I walked in mentally preparing myself for pain, but Kennady completely changed my expectations. I don't know what magical technique she used, but the wax was almost painless. Seriously. There was only one strip that stung a bit, but honestly, it was nothing compared to what I was expecting. Kennady clearly knows what she's doing. On top of that, she was such a pleasure to talk to. I felt completely comfortable the entire time, which is not always easy during a Brazilian. She's warm, professional, and really knowledgeable. She took the time to walk me through aftercare, and I actually learned a few new things (education is gold, and she definitely delivered!). Bottom line: I'll only be booking with Kennady from now on. My bigger issue was with the business practices. I was sold on a package during my appointment and was quoted one price (around $156), but by the time I got to the front desk the amount had increased to $192. The pricing structure was confusing and never felt transparent. The constant focus on packages, memberships, products, and "savings" made me feel like I was being sold to rather than simply paying for a service. I later received another charge on my credit card weeks after canceling my future appointment because of the payment structure attached to the package. While the company pointed to terms on its website, I do not feel the ongoing automatic charges were honestly and clearly disclosed when the package was sold to me in person. Good customer service is not about pointing customers to fine print after the fact. It is about being honest, upfront, and transparent before the sale is made. Customers should clearly understand what they are paying, what future charges will occur, and how the billing works before agreeing to anything. I have no issue paying for services. My issue is confusing pricing, constant upselling, and a business model that did not feel customer friendly. Had everything been explained honestly and clearly from the beginning, I could have made an informed decision. Instead, I was left feeling misled about the true cost and billing structure.

My husband had a quick men's mani/pedi which left his hands and feet moisturized and clean. My pedicure was great, I did an aqua color which I enjoyed and then I originally asked for a chrome aqua color for my manicure as well, but changed my mind to get a chrome orange after she shaped my nails. Not sure if me changing my mind made my manicurist forget that I also wanted chrome, so after doing my complete set, I had to have another lady take all the color off and start again because the chrome was supposed to be the first layer. Had I realized this (I rarely get my nails done so I don't really know the process), I would have spoken up before she got so far along. The end result was still nice and I enjoyed chatting with both manicurists. A perk of this place was a complimentary drink as well (sodas, juices and a selection of alcohol) which was nice. When I explained the design I wanted, she said she couldn't do it and kept saying it was a "freestyle" that "takes too long." I even showed her a photo of my previous set with the exact same magnetic cat-eye effect. I wasn't asking for a different technique, just for the magnetic effect to be centered on the nail instead of off to the side. She eventually did it perfectly, which showed she was capable of doing it all along. If it required extra time or an additional charge, I would've gladly paid it. I just didn't appreciate being made to feel like I was asking for something unreasonable. She also seemed rushed throughout the appointment. She nicked my cuticle a couple of times, and I had to ask her to paint the corners of my nails because she was leaving parts of the nail uncovered. The hand and arm massage was also disappointing. She massaged my right hand, then moved straight to my left hand without doing my right forearm. While she was switching sides, I took off my jacket so both arms would be accessible. She then massaged my left forearm but never went back to do the right one, even though it was uncovered. The finished nails are beautiful, and I do appreciate that. Unfortunately, customer service is a big part of the experience, and I left feeling like a burden instead of a valued customer.
