Bought a battery at the Mount Prospect Store on 6/13/26 was charged $85.00 for installation. I looked back at my last battery purchase from 11/9/21 same store - Installation was free. Picked up a major piece of metal in one of my tires today. Couldn't be repaired; had to be replaced. A friend of mine, who's a mechanic, recommended Just Tires. He also told me that I would need to purchase two tires; not just one. Just Tires didn't have the tires that I needed in stock but they ordered them. They put on my spare and three hours later when they had the tires I went back and had them installed. Excellent service. Very reasonable price. Javier was wonderful. My mother called to get her tire patched up, they told her on the phone 1- 1&1/2 hours. She arrives there like maybe 15-25 min later,and they tell her 2-3 hours. Also my husband came here about a week ago & the guy there called him weird when he thought he was out of earshot& when he confronted him about it, he flat out denied it & claimed he said our car smelled good..... My husband reviewed them and of course it's under not recommended on here but for real customer service is not high on their list I would go to another location. read more

If your store hours say that you close at 6PM, that means you can take customers that arrive by this time. You need to change your store signage to say be here by 5PM, if you come between 5pm and 6PM you are going to keep me here longer than what I am scheduled for. Horrible service. Also, you need better customer service skill when picking up the phone. I called to get a patch done and I was it was going to take about an hour and a half to get it done, the time I called was 4:50PM. The person who answered said " We close at six and we are not going to be able to make it to your car, you can leave it overnight and we will get it done tomorrow morning". I went to Facebook to ask the Wheeling Community where I could take my car, there were many places but they all close between 4-5PM. The last place I thought of calling was the best in customer service ever. Discount Tire in Mount Prospect. They got me in at 5:30PM and got me out of there by 6:25PM. They had other cars after me waiting for their service. They also close at 6OM but if you make it by 6PM, they will take care of you even if they have to stay longer. Vince saved the day! On 11.5.18 my family pulled into our home after shopping and running errands and we hear a loud, "HISSSSSS". I screw was in our tire. I rushed over to this location 5 minutes before they are closing. Vince could tell I was stressed out but it was too late for him to fix the tire that night. He offered to swap the tire for the spare and he could repair the tire the next day and I could pick up after work. It was a cold rainy night, and he saved me a lot of hassle. Thank you! This place is great they saved me big time Had 2 flat tires on my food truck called several places with no luck . Pulled in on the back of a tow truck at 7:45 pm they close at 8 . They told me on the phone no problem we will put on your new tires in the morning. To my surprise and delight the manager himself changed them right then . Back in 2006 I took the recommendation of my brother-in-law to visit this Just Tires when I needed a new set for my Envoy SUV. They gave me a good deal on a full set of Goodyear tires at that time. Never had a problem with them, and have gone on some long road trips. A few days ago I had one go flat, I temp fixed with a can of Fix-a-Flat, and brought the car in to get it looked at. Turns out I had picked up a screw in the tire, but during inspection an issue with the interior sidewall showed up in this one tire only. The other 3 were fine. I was impressed with the service and friendliness and the fact they replaced the tire under warranty and did all the service including tire rotation for only $33. As I waited for the tire to be delivered, there was a steady stream of folks coming through and you could tell the service personnel knew their tires and brands, as they rattled off sizes and makes and pros and cons of different makes and types. The entire service took about 90 minutes from start to finish as my tire was not in stock there, but they fetched one in fast from another location and balanced and mounted it along with a full tire rotation. I will always come here for my tires. Thanks! Side note: While I was there a woman came in from a parking lot of a business next door, her car had popped a front tie rod while she was driving though this other lot and the front wheels went crooked. She stopped in to ask for help and a couple of the tire jockeys piled out and checked out the underside of the car and helped her move it into a parking space. She'll need a full mechanic to fix that, but it was nice of the guys there to help her square the car away. read more

I was at the Just Tires store in Mount Prospect, IL. last week. My service adviser was Tim. I can't say enough about the fine service I received from him. I was there for an oil change and tire rotation. Shortly after they started rotating my tires they discovered that one of my tires had a steel belt protruding from the tire. Tim then showed me a few new tires and recommended the one that had the best tread for Winter use and gave me a great price as well. I checked the on line prices of this tire and found that he had undersold all of them by as much as $40.00 per tire. I can't thank Tim enough for his fine service. By the way, they do Brakes, too! As the weather got a little nicer finally, I was able to get my 79 Trans Am out after a long winter. I noticed some vibration while driving and went to just tires to have them take look at my tires. Tim, Jay and all the guys were great, They showed me the wear on my tires and the dry rubber and cracking on my old tires. They treated my car with care, which was a huge concern of mine and I got a great price on some Radial TAs. The cars driving great and rides real smooth. Jay and his team always go the extra mile to make things easy. It's Saturday and the store was busy as usual. Had a slow leak in my tire. Brought in to have it looked at. Found a screw in the sidewall. Told me due to Covid-19 and Memorial Day Weekend, it was going to take 6 days to get my exact tire (brand new model tire). I told them of my situation, I was traveling out of town in 2 days and could not wait. The asked if they could call me back. I was called back, she told me that had a temp. full size tire, I was able to take my work trip without making any unnecessary changes. Awesome job. Above and beyond. These guy are obnoxious. You'll be much happier going to discount tires just down the street. Not to mention it would probably be much less money for the same or comparable tires. They were very rude here and also quoted me over a hundred dollars to put a sensor on my tire where discount tires said it would cost $14. Monday I made an appointment to have front end of car worked on. Was told I would have to wait till Friday for the front end guy to be in. Brought car in. Manager ignored me as usual. He send Vince in to find out what I needed. Said I had an 8:00 am appointment, He said he had 3 of them. I said what does that mean. he said we should be able to get you out in a couple of hours. I said it was for a front end problem. He said front end guy is not in today. But he still should be able to look at it. I said why , if the guy that works on it is not in. I started to walk out. 8 miles to drive here and my time. Wasted. no one called me. Been going here with 6 cars for years. Spend over a thousand a year. They now lost me as a customer. read more

Not long after they sold me one tire to replace a blowout and told me that my other three were "practically new", they said I needed a new set of four, including replacing the one they had just sold me recently. I used to like this place. Not anymore. They repaired one of my tires b/c of a screw in May. In August, the same tire was losing air again. I took it in & the guy calls me to tell me that it had another screw in it & to come pick it up. I didn't trust what he was saying to me because he was EXTREMELY abrupt & rude. I complained about it when I went in there & asked if I could see the 2 patch sites . We are still looking for the 2nd one. Then, the guy who called me tells me that he doesn't know what is wrong with the way he spoke to me. Total j-ass. As long as this tire holds, I am never going back there. I took my truck to get all four new tires and do the alignment but they didnt do it right cuz i have 1yr nd half with the tires and the front tires are all worn out and bad. Had a coupon for a 30 dollar synthetic blend oil change. They didn't have the oil my honda pilot requires so the guy tried to sell me full synthetic for more money. If they don't have the oil my common car requires, why should I have to pay more? I said no thanks. Heading to Firestone. read more

I stopped over to the Just Tires store this afternoon. I had a nail in the corner of the tread, though not in the sidewall. Looked like a surface puncture. Vince came out, looked at it, put some soapy water on it to see if it was leaking. It was not. He felt comfortable with just pulling it out with a pliers. He did, rechecked it with the soapy water, no leak. He said 'you're fine'. I started walking back to the office to pay something, he said, 'no charge, I didn't really do anything'. I don't understand all the negative reviews. I have been a customer here for the last several years and have consistently been treated very well. They are pleasant and professional and have never tried to up sell me. Tim, in particular is a gem. I would highly recommend this place.
