It's a little hard to find. There's a few wooden signs to guide you in the right direction. It's one of those bars that provide a fob so that you can pour whatever you want as much as you want. They had a wide selection of beers from Washington and Oregon from hazys to ciders. This was perfect since l usually just prefer tasters to avoid full commitment. They also had a list of cocktails that were pretty good. The recommendations were Razzle Dazzle and Bomb Pop! It can probably get pretty crowded but not on a Sunday afternoon when we were killing time before our flight out of Seattle. They have a few nights with events so it seems like a cool hang out spot. I didn't get to try the food but it sounded delightful w the beers on tap. I believe they limit you to 32 oz total of pours just fyi

Stopped in with my partner after a walk along the waterfront downtown. We saw some signs posted and followed them right into this spot. Our first impression was that this is a quirky spot with a lot of charm. The coolest part of this experience was using the tap wall. We would 100% recommend this experience to other patrons. The varieties of ciders was great -- try the Vanilla mixed with Cinnamon! The Hot Veggie pizza was delicious. There are also tons of board games available to use. We played a few rounds of scrabble. Will definitely be stopping back!

This has some of the best taps I've experienced at a self serve tap house. From the outside at night, the place seems a little sketch, but trust the process and you will find a very unique experience. Service was very friendly and will definitely be back. Lots of games of board games to play or go to the pinball room!

Absolutely loved our little date night coming here. We live nearby so we got a coupon for a free slice of Pizza and had been curious about this place for a while. It's a big place inside. There are four rooms, a long hallway to the entrance, bathrooms, and a photo booth. The servers were all nice and constantly cleaning up the place. Seemed pretty popular when we went on a Friday night, they're definitely not hurting for customers. We met a few tourists when we went who decided to walk up from the Cruise terminal and were raving about this place when we waited in line to go in. It started our date night on the right foot. The prices are pretty affordable. We ordered almost every slice on the menu except Mo Fun Guy (since they require you to order the whole Pizza), Prestigio, and Churro. We also didn't order anything on the Brazilian dinner menu. One of our beer taps tapped out too, and even ordering all of that plus our $15 on PhotoBooth pics, it was still pretty affordable, under $100. Fyi, if your tap runs out, you have to let the guys at the cashier know, and they reinstate it for you. So now we know for next time! Also, the photo booth starts taking pics right away, and there's no indicator light, so get ready as soon as you get in there! The Pizza was all right. I wouldn't say the flavors were the best--definitely on the Little Ceasars level--but I think this place is better for the tapped beers and the overall vibe than for the food. You can't lose with the beers on tap. I love how you get a magnet that tracks your ounce pours. That was a first-time experience for us, and we loved that feature. There are games all over. We played a few rounds of Uno and another board game--I can't remember which now--but there's a pinball room, too. If you're looking for a fun aesthetic, they cover a few bases for you, with the lighted hallway to the exit and the extra dark room. I highly recommend it for date nights, group hangouts, tourists, etc...it's a fun place.

The ambiance was great, the bartender was super friendly and helpful. They also had premixed drinks on top if you're not a beer drinker. The orange mixed drink was the best I've had in a while. It was cute that they had different fluorescent shots for the UV room too. There were 4 rooms from what I could tell: pinball, open tap room, UV and game room with projector that had cartoons playing quietly. A couple bookshelves full of board games with rows of tables to play at. The blacklight room is small but not too many people on a late October weeknight. All in all we'll definitely come back and recommend it to others.

Great beer concept! The self serve fobs made it fun to try many different kinds of beers! Pizza was excellent quality, particularly the beerbacoa (must try!). We especially appreciated that you can buy it by the slice, and like your beer, try different varieties. There is a game wall, for those looking for fun while enjoying beer and we invited a couple friends to play along. Beer can be a bit expensive (it is charged to your fob by the ounce, making it $6-$10/12 oz glass). For their premium pours, they had a bourbob barrel aged stout and a barley wine that were both excellent. However, there is also a value beer on tap (yesterday's was Guiness for $4/glass) for those wanting it to be more budget friendly. Lots of table space for boardgame play on a sunday afternoon. Would like to see them play with the ambiance a bit....maybe give some cozy vibes with a fireplace room, or maybe use the tech to create fun harry potter themed library.....maybe even a spacey star wars themed area.....:). The neon swing area was cute but not so practical for sitting due to seats being not quite level. Owner is super helpful and totally put a lot of passion into the food and the craft beer tech!

My friend discovered this spot on Google Maps, and after seeing photos of the unique LED swing room, we were instantly intrigued and decided to check it out. The entrance has a speakeasy vibe and can be a bit tricky to find, but that just adds to the charm. Once inside, you'll need to place an order before exploring the venue. My friend and I got a beer token and a slice of rosemary potato chips pizza. The place is massive, with various themed rooms including board game rooms, a pinball room, the LED swing room, and even more spaces in the back that we didn't get a chance to explore. Our group of 7-8 friends spent the evening in the LED swing room, and it was such a chill and fun experience. The pizza was delicious, and we all had a great time. I've already been telling other friends about this hidden gem, and I can't wait to come back for another visit!

great service, good mood around the establishment, and the food and beer was great, definitely will come back

This place is amazing, really well thought out and put together. The design of the pour your beer bar is well done, it's great to be able to go up and pour self a sample or pint of whatever you like The different rooms offered are really fun and I was impressed the board games available to play were actually good ones. Not the left overs no one wants at most places that stock board games. Staff were super friendly and great to talk too. This would be a perfect place for hosting an event or just coming by to hang out.

Very cool venue! We happened across this place while wandering around downtown Seattle.. we like beer so we decided to check it out. It's one of those places where you get a card and you can pour your own beer from the taps, as little or as much as you want. We like trying new and different beers so we love these kinds of places. We got our card and ordered a couple of slices of pizza. We tried some beers while we waited for our pizza. The pizza wasn't very good, it was kind of like a wet noodle, I like my pizza crust crisp. But the venue is cool, different themed rooms: space room, pinball room, etc.. it would be a cool place for a private event. All in all cool place, good selection of beer and cool themed rooms.

We dropped in for brunch, and were thrilled to find a place that is both pretty and delicious. Service is walk up and quick and friendly. Stopped by this spot on perfect Seattle Sunday - almost 70 degrees out without a cloud in the sky, and this place is right across the street from the waterfront. This is the exact type of spot I wish Seattle had more of - simple concept with food/drinks that really stand out. You order at the front, grab a seat on the patio or inside, and wait for the food to be brought out. I also love how dog friendly this place is! Bonus points for sure. They usually have 10-15 beers on tap and a list of house made cocktails. I went with their light Lightning Harp and the girlfriend went with the SYSTEM_REBOOT.EXE (great name, wow) which was light/crispy/sweet/herby-freshness and was insanely good. For food, we usually just get their basket of fires and their fancy ranch. I MUST SAY, this fancy ranch is top tier, the epitome of what ranch should be, and might be the best I have ever had - no notes and more bonus points. This time, we decided to try a few other food items. Chips w queso and their fried mushrooms as starters - chips are seasoned with s&p and maybe chili powder? Honestly, the chips were great. Queso has never been my favorite, and their version of this cheese dip seemed to be lacking something. Girlfriend loved it, but not my favorite. Fried mushrooms were perfect - light and crispy outside with meaty mushroom center, and of course the fancy ranch as a dipper made this a delightful snack. The last thing we ordered to share was their iteration of the Seattle Hotdog. I will be getting this hotdog every single time we come back moving forward. Every single part of this dish was done perfectly - bun was very light with crispy outside and soft inside. Also not too much bun, I always find myself ripping off excess bun with hotdogs, but not here (today lol). The wiener was perfect size (pause) in every sense of the way. Just the right amount of cream cheese. AND THEY USED FRIED JALAPENOS! I did not think fried jalapenos would be such a game changer, but my god they were so frickin good that give the perfect crispy texture and heat. This is a great spot to grab a beer and snack, and especially good on a blue bird Seattle Sunday :)

Wow, this review is 8 years old! I want to share my experience with Some Random Bar…read more In 2017, my mom and I visited Seattle for me to look at apartments and interview for jobs. We came here to eat because it was near our hotel. I was OBSESSED with the crab nachos. 2 months later, I moved out here all on my own. Now, 8 years later, I live nearby. Whenever someone is visiting, we come here. Whenever I run into a stranger visiting, i say they have to come here. My friends know if i'm celebrating anything, "are you getting crab nachos?!" It's become a part of my personality at this point. I have so much respect for the owners, the way they run their business and their honesty online. No one I've brought here has had a bad thing to say regardless of what they ordered. My go to is: Pull apart bread, crab nachos (with their hot sauce!! which, btw can i buy that by the bottle.. cause YUM) + whatever drink is calling my name (they rotate, but if you can get the pina colada you won't regret it). tldr; you'll regret NOT coming here.

I remembered that their drinks and bourbon selection/pricing used to be incredible. As with all things lately, prices have gone up on some of their rarer pours. The standard basic cocktails though were still reasonable and decently priced for the location. The atmosphere is great and service was pretty quick. The outdoor patio is still there which was a nice addition from 2019/2020 era. Some of their bourbons are still reasonably priced. Their food is pretty good. Would recommend the tacos, the burger, and carne asada. The nachos were not particularly for me, and also seemed to come out cold. Seemed to have cheese sauce instead of actual cheese. It was a cold day however. This place is mainly great for happy hour after work, but will come back and try dinner another time. Staff is great though. Really quaint and awesome spot to post up. good food, good service, good drinks, good selection, and still better pricing than most bars with what they have to offer. Will be going back again sooner. cheers

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

We ordered 2 apps (salmon dip with pita chips & chips and cheese dip) I ordered fish and chips. Buddy got the meat loaf. Our beer showed up quick. Waiter always checked on us often. Our apps showed up and they were both delicious. Then 5 minutes later our main dish orders showed up. Wasn't too happy with that because we wasted time to taste our beers and snack on the apps. They need to work on their timing. Need at least 10 minutes in between the beer and apps. The food overall is admittedly top notch. Fish and chips FRESH! The fish was juicy and the fried crust was perfection. Pieces were large. They will ask if you want 3 or 4. 3 is enough. If they can work on timing the drinks and food this place would be a 5 out 5, but will deduct a star because of that. The overall vibe of the place was nice. Huge layout with wooden picnic style tables. Outdoor tables if you're lucky to get one. Large tanks to brew beer surrounding the room and a merch table.
