I've enjoyed my lunch each time I visit. The salads are made quick and are always a large serving.

The food at Oak + Almond is consistently excellent, with large portions providing good value, and this visit was no exception. Appetizer highlights included Brussels sprouts and octopus. Entrees including wood grilled pork chops, chicken Milanese, branzino and Bucatini Allo Scoglio were all excellent. Dessert highlights were chocolate sea salt tart and gelato. It's a little noisy with no carpet or drapes to muffle the sound, but well worth the visit.

My first meal was the Caesar salad, which was outstanding. The poached egg was cooked perfectly with that soft, medium‑boiled center I love. The Parmesan was fresh, the dressing was balanced, and the grilled chicken was a generous, well‑seasoned portion. Simple, clean, and delicious. The ambience is a huge part of the charm -- a cozy, wood‑cabin feel with a great bar setup. You can get full service at the bar, enjoy top‑shelf drinks, and watch the TVs without it feeling like a sports bar. It's a comfortable mix of locals and travelers, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Benny behind the bar was great, and he made the experience even better with fun conversation and excellent service. For dinner, I tried the pasta with sausage, which was flavorful without being overly salty. You can tell they use quality ingredients. The mussels were a standout -- the broth was clean and delicious, with a white‑wine base, a touch of tomato, fresh herbs, and just the right kick from jalapeño. One of the best mussel dishes I've had in a while. The wine selection was also very good and paired nicely with the dishes I tried. After several meals back‑to‑back, I can confidently say this place delivers every time. Great food, great service, great vibe. I'll definitely keep coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a consistently excellent dining experience

Honestly, last night had some catharsis to it. Little Pub is one of these places where I've been…read moreby it a lot. Probably like a thousand times. I've walked by their parking lots and had to navigate my way past cars coming to eat here. And then there's a few times where I had ordered from this place on UberEats. It would be their pulled pork Mac and cheese I would get delivered 3 miles up the road to where I work, and I thoroughly enjoyed it every time I've had it. Last night, I had finally come here in person. After an in-service function at my job, me and my best friend from work went here for dinner. Honestly, it was a much needed night. I will say that parking for the dinner rush is pure hell. If you do manage to find a good parking spot during dinner rush, go buy a lottery ticket. But once we did find a space to park (the downpour from earlier made me have to both channel my inner Olympic gymnast and wish I could levitate so that I could miss the rain puddle where I was to get out), it wasn't too bad to get in. You have a little Photo Booth before you even get into the restaurant proper which we saw a kid using upon our arrival. The interior is definitely reminiscent of rustic British atmospheres. Not like being transported back to the medieval times so much as going to an old town British bar where you might either drink 80 beers with a group of vikings or end up as part of the chaos during Gaston's song sequence from Beauty and the Beast. It took a moment to decide what we wanted, but we were seated right away since we were just two people. I decided to start myself off with "The Jasmine Blossom", which has a Japanese gin base. Ever tried drinking a flower? Ever thought that that flavor tasted good? That's what I got from this drink. As for food, my friend had the Buttermilk Ranch Crunch Wrap, opting for sweet potato fries for a side, and my order was the hot honey chicken sandwich with the regular fries. I wanted to do something different from what I had previously had delivered this time around. I would say we both enjoyed our meals, but I do definitely think while my fries did have a good crisp to it, the sweet potato fries were the better fry. As described by my friend, the Crunch Wrap she had was sweet. Not in a sickening way, but sweet in how a way that makes a crunch wrap tasty. As for my sandwich, it looked like a burger at first. That was until I took a closer look at it and saw that this was indeed chicken. I dislocated my jaw and took my first bite. The hot honey made the overall sandwich sweet. Not sickeningly sweet, but the kind of sweet that makes a hot honey chicken sandwich tasty. I will say that the bottom of my sandwich struggled to hold its contents. It flopped in the middle, and it was a lot of work trying to hold it together to finish. The chicken was indeed juicy, and probably contributed to why the bottom struggled to keep itself together. But DAMN was it good! The prices honestly weren't bad either. For what I had, it came out to $33.32 which might seem like a lot until you realize it was both the sandwich and the cocktail on my tab. And no, I did not make that total up! That's what it showed on my tab. Speaking of, I do like the nice touch of getting post cards and a "Little Pub" sticker given to us on our tabs. Mine had Godzilla on it. They were pretty funny like that. We were in and out in maybe a slight bit over an hour, which honestly isn't bad given everything typed in this review. I'd definitely get food from here again, but maybe next time I try it I'd do well to wait for a time not so busy to come.

As a Middle Eastern food lover, I was blown away by their shawarma platter, salads, and everything else on the menu it was all top-notch. I visited New York a month ago and then headed to Connecticut. While there, I searched for the best restaurants and found this fast-food spot. I absolutely loved it! The way they received customers and the level of hospitality was outstanding. The people there were amazing. For me great customer service makes the whole experience and they nailed it. Now, let's talk about the food it tasted incredible. They told me they also serve biryani and haleem and as a huge haleem fan, I had to try it. I'll never forget that taste! I even asked to meet the chef and they introduced me to Chef Bala. He made an unforgettable haleem that truly tasted like the original Hyderabadi Nizami haleem. I asked him how he made it and he told me he's from Hyderabad and does this work with passion not just for money. You could really feel that in the food. The prices were surprisingly affordable but the food was high-end. The quality, the people, the taste everything was superb. Honestly, this was one of my best experiences in years. I'm definitely coming back again, at least for the haleem! Their biryani was also incredibly flavorful it felt like I was eating back home in Hyderabad, India. You guys are number one! Please maintain the same quality and standards you're well on your way to being the best in North America. I was in Norwalk, Connecticut for three days and I wholeheartedly enjoyed your food. The gyros, salads with egg, chicken sandwiches, wings, falafel you name it, you gave 100%! I love the food and service. They also have lamb and beef gyros, though I didn't try the beef since I don't eat it. Thank you for an unforgettable experience keep doing what you're doing!

It was quite busy when we arrived on a late Sunday a.m. in January. Tables were filled and there was a line for ordering. We stuck it out and the food was at our table in less than 20 mins. The sandwiches were ooey gooey toasted cheesiness and paired perfectly with the creamy tomato soup. It came with a lighty dressed arugula salad. I had a freshly brewed ice tea and my dining partner got a Dr. Brown's soda. The breakfast rush was soon over but people were still coming in to eat and grab take out while we enjoyed our meals. They also offer beers and wines and hot chocolate. This immediately caught my attention because this was the place that replaced Tom E Toes after it closed its doors back in 2020. Honestly, while I do miss Tom E Toes, I am glad this was the restaurant that took its place. It's basically your next step up from fast food, but the beef here has always been good whenever I've ordered from them. The people working there are always nice and will answer any questions I might have. It's also a very convenient place for those who are spending their day here in Wilton. My visits here have been almost exclusively while I was going to or from work. I usually pay quite a bit when I come here because I customize my meals, but that's part of the charm I've come to love about this place. It also helps that my customizations always make my meals from here extremely filling. For example, my burger today was a Build Your Own Golden Style Double (Golden Style meaning it is mustard grilled) with cheddar, bacon, cheese sauce, crunchy onions, chips, and BBQ Aioli, and my fries were Bacon Cheese Fries toasted in K-Town Sauce. May I just say that these were both yummy and satisfying! One thing I should note since I am looking at my receipt as I am writing this review, this is the first restaurant in the state that uses Zero Acre Farms Oil in 90% of its food prep and has been doing so for over 2 years (January 2024 was when they started this). I don't come often, but I will continue to come here as an option whenever the need arises for a good burger in Wilton.
