Very fast and efficient service. They are good about offering substitutions and have clear postings of allergen information in their various ingredients. Not as expensive as many other salad places nearby, so I come here quite frequently since it is very close to my office.

I ordered delivery and see photos to see what I ordered via what I got. Total flop, never again.

    Not quite chopped.

The Good. Everything is reasonably fresh. The dressings taste good. Poblano ranch is nice. It's slightly better than Chop't. Especially the complimentary bread, which is ciabatta as opposed to sad tortilla. The pre-determined combo salads are a good deal, at least comparatively to the build-your-own option. The Bad. The chicken is often dry and sad. If I want to make my own combo, it's about 30-50% more expensive than it would be at a local deli (how is it $13 for that?!). The Ugly. The chopping is half assed. I recently got several chunks of beet in my "chopped" salad that were at least a half a beet each. I suppose I'm happy about the sheer amount of beets, but c'mon man. Perhaps the dudes chopping will get better at this as they build up their chopping muscles; it is a new store, after all. But in the meantime, what, am I supposed to cut up my own food? Like a peasant? Like an ADULT?!

Salad is pretty much like last resort food for me, BUT I'm trying this new thing in my life (and probably bandwagoning the whole fad), where I'm actually trying to eat as healthy as possible (though it's probably not going to last). I'm not one to go speciality salad places that charge over $10 because...seriously? I came here during their opening day, where their promotion was a "Pay what you wish" -kind of deal, and were supposedly handing out NYHRC passes. I'm not sure if ordering in line is pretty standard for them or it was just for the busy opening day, but the process of ordering was a little annoying and hectic, to say the least. I ordered the California Salad and I really enjoyed it. The lettuce is really of some high quality and is probably one of crunchiest I've ever had. With that and the bread, it was a filling and guilt-free meal. Despite the rush and the increasing long line, the guy who made my salad was patient and let me sample some of the dressings since it was my first time there and wasn't sure what to put on it; in the end, I went with plain, boring balsamic vinegar--so much for sampling! The prices are a little steep but I will consider coming back if I'm ever in the mood for a salad. Even though they had no idea what the hell I was referring to about the NYHRC passes, it was a pleasant experience overall and the staff was polite well under pressure.

Just Salad just open across the street from my office. Now I can get fresh salad right with very little effort. I like the Value salad- Caesar, Thai Chicken Crunch, Buffalo Chicken, Asian Sesame Grain and Mediterranean Mix. Salad prices are $7.99.

Just Salad continues to be one of my absolute go-tos for lunch in midtown - super fresh and delicious salads each and every time! Nicole is a recent addition to the team and blew me away with her Chicken Shawarma bowls - it was like work of art (see pics) that I almost didn't want to eat it lol. Can't wait to order from you guys again! Rafael - you have a great team there - hi to Shamika & the rest of the gang!

The skimpiest $14 bowl of salad I've ever seen.

Food is fresh and tasty, but the portions are half of what they once were while prices have shot through the roof. I got about a half a bowl of salad with chicken for $14.40. And they don't even chop it anymore. And I'm still hungry.

The quality of the salads got worse. Not sure why. Big difference when I was ordering a year ago and now.

None of that here now with 4, albeit generous, seats facing the window: The expectation now is that during the lunch rush, you're going straight back to your desk or, if it's nice outside, sit outside (so a great use of the car-free section of Broadway). I had the Hot Chicken Plate: It was the special for folks with the SG app so I thought, why not. I picked double quinoa, blackened chicken, sweet potato and everything else you can see in my photo. The warm quinoa and the chicken were fantastic: You know SG is making a play for Chipotle's customers by offering what's basically a rice base with a chicken and salad topping. I was not a fan of the spicy broccoli which I found too salty. If you overload your plate with toppings it will easily go over the Chipotle price point: You'll know what's happening now that you have to enter it all in yourself on one of 3 tablets at the counter that divides the public from the kitchen.
