3.5 Rounded to 4 I normally come here in the late afternoon when it's pretty dead, so this was my first time seeing it a bit chaotic and busy. There were a few customers who were being really rude to the staff, which seemed completely uncalled for just because there was a wait. The team seemed a bit short-staffed, but you could tell everyone was working as hard as they could to get the orders out. I actually had a little mix-up with my order, but there was one guy working who was just the sweetest. Another girl working there kept yelling out to him about the issue I was having, which felt a bit rude since I was standing right there. It definitely wasn't the best look, but I'm being gracious and overlooking it since I usually never deal with her or that kind of treatment here. Hopefully, she was just filling in for the day. Despite that moment, the guy who helped me handled everything perfectly and was super nice about it. I'm still giving it 4 stars because the food is good and most of the staff clearly try hard under pressure, but I definitely learned my lesson and I'll be sticking to my late afternoon orders from now on to avoid the heavy crowds and the bad attitudes from the customers (and that one specific worker). read more

This has easily become my go-to location for salads since the summer started. I've had their bowls, plates, salads and smoothies and it's always consistent, fresh and tasty. Usually I order ahead of time and my order is always ready and available upon walking in. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to point you to utensils, napkins, bags, etc. For such a busy location, they keep things moving along quickly and they never skimp on quality or portion size. There's always available seating as well but I prefer a grab and go sitch and enjoying my food across the street at Central Park! All in all, I would certainly recommend this location! read more

pretty sure if I have another sweetgreen salad in this lifetime I'll pass away - so thank goodness for other options with even more expansive menus - not to be that girl but the macros are so much better - I got the Tokyo supergreens with chicken and light miso dressing and MWAH so so much flavor with perfectly ripe vegetables - the chicken was a little dry but I was surprised how far the light dressing took the entire salad. - such good textures with the avocado, edamame, carrots, and furikake - bread should be free btw. Cmon. read more

I come here from time to time during my lunch break, and the food is great with plenty of options (veggies, greens, proteins, toppings) to choose from. The ingredients taste fresh, and it's easy to customize everything. I mainly wanted to give a shoutout to the staff though, as every time I come, they are quick with service and all seem very friendly. There's a lady (idk her name but she ties her hair up in a bun) at the counter that's always greeting customers and smiling. It makes a difference and keeps me coming back. read more

Great place at a very convenient location with lots of amazing rich in protein and healthy food options (mostly salads, but also some really good plates and bowls, as well as wraps). I had a chicken fajita plate which was so so good that I finished it all at once (was planning to take some part of it to go, but nope! It was too good to to not to finish it, haha). Especially I wanted to thank wonderful Babi (I hope I didn't misspelled her name), who was very sweet and very helpful and had such a great energy that I'd totally go back there for lunch only because of her! Thank you, Babi, and thank you "Just Salad" team, I'll def see you again very soon! read more

Such bad customer service, I ordered my salad 30 min prior and came to pick it up only to find out that there's like 20 orders that came in and none of them were being made. Such a mess. Never coming back here. And the lady had an attitude, bye read more

I ordered a cilantro lime chicken bowl for delivery and when I opened it, it looks as if someone had already ate some of it. This is not the first time I have a concern with my food that has been delivered from this location. Constant mistakes to not adding the dressing or missing ingredients. With this current order I am dissatisfied and disappointed because I can't even go to the location and have them make a new one or get a refund because that's not an option. I don't feel comfortable eating this being that it looks like someone already did. read more

I went right at the end of their grand opening promotion ($5 salads) and walked in to find a bunch of people in line and the employees behind the bar hustling. I mean, really just moving around each other, tossing salads. I thought I was going to have to wait a while, but it went by so quickly because they had someone working the line to write down orders before getting to the salad bar. There was a lady behind me who seemed nice, but was just very confused and making ambiguous statements about what she wanted to order. Let me tell you about the patience this employee had. Later, I complimented the employee on how she managed that situation and how hard she must've been working. She not only thanked me for the compliment but also acknowledged her colleagues behind the salad bar for their hard work as well, which I thought was super awesome. Everyone behind the salad bar was equally efficient and kind -- you'll definitely find some good people staffed at this brand-new location! read more

Service was so attitude, they were also chitchat and not really intention to mixed salad for me who was waiting with empty stomich. The face of their staff was angry with something all the time. Normally I order from Uber and pick up or delivery but this time I just order in the front and found out this kind of service. I was there on last Tuesday and order Ceasar salad and she did not asked me if I need to add anything in the dish which is I normally add on ingredient when I ordered online. And when I asked to added some Edamame, she just looks like someone forced her to work here today or just want to stop working and turn back to chitchat with her friend. Food was good but attitude was so dissapoint. If the store can find someone who has better attitude and more service mind, I'd be appreciated. read more

Welcome to the neighborhood Just Salad! Conveniently located near the Shops at Columbus Circle & 59th St subway station, this a nice option for a casual sit down meal or to go. Plenty of seating inside at tables & bar style with high chairs. This location is busier during lunch hours drawing in folks working in the area, while the evenings get slightly busy after 5:30 with a mix of commuters, tourists, & locals living in the area. Staff is quick with orders & greet you with a smile. Manager Sammy was great! The menu has a mix of bowls, salads, & wraps. Prices range from $12-$15 on average. Salads are decent in size. I usually save half for the next day. Tried the PB protein smoothie. It's not a creamy thick drink like most protein packed smoothies. It's more liquid like and can definitely taste the almond butter. Plenty of vegan food options available. No restrooms. read more

Every one who works here is super nice. Food is made quick. And the place is spotless too! The best Just Salad location in Manhattan

This place is amazing, and puts Sweet Green to shame. There are a variety reasonably priced wraps, bowls and salads to choose from. I've been here twice, and have had two different salads - both were fresh and delicious, and the portions were plentiful. The interior of the establishment is clean. Each time I've come in, the employees are polite and genuinely appear to like the job they are performing. read more

I love their salads. They are fresh, and delicious. They had this promotion yesterday July 26th, and today: I went both days. Plus I got a reusable bowl for $1, and on Wednesdays you get a fresh extra ingredient FOR FREE. I tried two different salads: both of them amazing. Definitely come visit their location on 8th Ave between 57th and 58th Streets. The atmosphere is very relax, and the space is very clean. I hope everyone who got the deal enjoyed both (deal and salad) as much as I did. They will definitely see me again soon. Thank you!! You guys are great. Tony GS (Hugo Boss) read more

There are a lot of lunch-salad-bowl places in this part of the neighborhood, so you'd think they're mostly pretty similar. But I've liked Just Salad the best of the ones I've tried. It's just hit the spot better than SweetGreen or Lennys does. Thus far I've only been doing the build-your-own salad option, but my partner really likes several of the pre-made bowls as well. Bread is solid for a fast-casual place. Will likely be back. read more

I had an appointment last week at lunch time. Walking home on 7th Ave I passed a place called JUST SALADS. It was a hot and muggy day and I was feeling hungry. Salad sounded like a great idea. I walked in and was greeted by some lovely, conditioned air. There were tables in front and a counter across the back and side of this eatery. The menus that hung over the counter was interesting. They contained some familiar salads and a nice collection of new ones. I ordered a California Cobb salad with chicken. There was an array of salad dressings I could chose from. I was too tired at that point to make a decision, so I just asked for a vinegarette. It came with a slice of bread. The salad ingredients were very fresh and the ratio was just right. I enjoyed my salad and even told myself I could see coming here for lunch on a regular basis. They were also selling a brand of soda I'd never heard of. It was called ollipop and contains probiotics. I will definitely be lunching at JUST SALADS again soon. I liked the food, the staff seemed attentive the atmosphere was like a fast food or take out place. It wasn't crowded, but there was a steady stream of take out customers. There are two things I meant to say but forgot. If you don't want one of the salads on the menu, you can tell the salad maker behind the counter what to put into your bowl to create your own salad. I would also like to thank the young man who served me. When I took a soda from the refrigerator, he told me he had colder ones in the back. He insisted that it was no bother to get me one. When I was leaving I decided to take home a can for later. He did the same thing again, although I'd told him it wasn't important as that can was going straight into my refrigerator. I'll finish by saying that I think this place is a winner read more

I went to this location on opening day, during their 5$ bowl or wrap deal. Despite the long line of customers (who doesn't want a 5$ lunch?), staff were moving the line quickly while still providing quality service. However, the food was just not for me. I ordered a plant-based chicken wrap, and while made with fresh, quality ingredients, it wasn't at all filling. For the price of the food (on a regular, non-opening day of course), a chicken wrap should be a satisfying lunch. I do enjoy Just Salad's atmosphere and commitment to the environment, but I probably won't be purchasing there again. read more

Today was my first time in Just Salad, and I'll definitely be back - Jacob really helped me navigate the menu and was super kind!

They need to train the rest of staff to use tongs to grab the greens. Instead this person was placing their hands all over the counter, tapping, doesn't change them between, then grabs the lettuce! You can see how dirty their gloves are from my container. Disgusting. This is the 2nd time I went here hoping it would be different...Even if you don't change gloves, tongs should be used to handle the food. I'm only giving the extra star because after me, I did see one guy use the tongs with the customer. But the other employees haven't. read more
