I love this hidden gem. The guys behind the grill are the best and have so much personality this is a no frills place for breakfast and smoothies. The burger and fries are good too if you're going for that diner vibe. One of the managers been there since 1997 that says a lot. read more

Another of these small and mostly for carryout delis. In this UES deli there's no indoor seating and only a couple tables are outside. Wrap-N-Run is exactly that. Get typical items like chicken salad and other classics. They do have a vegetarian wrap. Good place for picking up something to eat fast. It only has a counter to order at and they have it ready in a few minutes. They weren't busy the last time. Even though there was a line it wasn't long. They get you in and out. I got a Vegetarian Wrap to go. It's $7, which makes it among the cheaper sandwiches and wraps around here. This has carrots, eggplant, peppers, salsa, and zucchini. One complaint is there were just too many carrots. Too many compared to the rest of the vegetables. It needed a little more of something else. The portion was good for the price. Good place for getting food fast. It also has a few smoothies but these are expensive and not anything special enough to pay as much. They have wraps mostly full of meat but there's one for vegetarians. read more

Wrap n Run is frequented by all the construction workers. They were all so polite when I squeezed in this tiny space to grab a coffee. The boss man was old school friendly and polite. The counter employee was a sweetheart. They didn't have the sleeve for my coffee so they gave me double cup. I was thrilled it was $1.25. I needed a seat and I had the choice of three chairs and two tables out front. The food looks good. It's popular with the men who know! Be prepared for a very small space at the counter. You wouldn't be able to sit at the stools without having the customers standing very very close. I'm sure it gets warm in here. I'm giving them Five Stars because I was treated like a Queen! I'm recommending. I'm coming back in winter. read more

After a quick morning trip to the Met for a Van Gogh exhibit (5/5, saw Starry Night), our short search for a burger led us to Wrap-N-Run. The restaurant itself is very small, with one table outside and a cramped space to order, wait, and eat with stools and a small bar-type table. I'd probably consider it more like the grill part of a bodega. It's definitely a takeout focused place, which is what we did. I ordered the Texan Burger, which is $.50 more than the Bacon Cheeseburger that my friend got (which I'm not sure why). They take credit card but I think everything is slightly cheaper if you pay with cash and order in person. The burger ended up being $11.96 all together. The burger is outstanding. The patty is gigantic (8 oz/half a pound based on the menu), juicy, and was cooked very nicely, very slightly less than well done which is what I expect for not specifying the cook level. The buns were nicely toasted as well, but walking ~20 min back to my apartment made the bottom bun understandably soggy. The Texan Burger comes with cheddar cheese and a very generous serving of bacon. The bacon wasn't crispy, but it wasn't as soggy as McDonalds bacon either, and I assume you can ask for crispier bacon. Getting the burger deluxe adds about $2 (burger itself is $9 something), which gets you fries, 1 piece of lettuce, and 2 slices of tomato. The fries were sad. Mushy, unseasoned (they give salt packets), and an afterthought, I thought they weren't even deep fried. But if I went back (and I definitely would just for the burger) I'd probably still get the deluxe just to have the lettuce balance out the massive patty. Or maybe I'll get a veggie wrap on the side... either way, this place replaces all fast food burgers for me! read more

Yummy, vegetables taste good and fresh. It came in a nice and thick wrap which made me happy because I know some people under stuff their wraps but this place stuffed it perfectly, especially since they were dealing with all vegetables! Highly recommend with some Frank's red hot sauce. I'm full and I only finished the first half of the wrap ( pictures are the second half of the wrap I'm gonna destroy in about 20 mins haha ) Service was good and my food was ready on time & warm ! Restaurant review: Wrap N' Run Grill offered a casual deli environment with cushioned seats and an abundance of mirrors. Prices ranged from 10 to 20 dollars. I ended up spending about $17 for a California wrap with grilled chicken, and some fresh orange juice on the side. In about 5 minutes I was handed my meal and took a seat at the counter. 101.1 FM was playing on the speakers, the wrap had spinach, avocado, tomato, chicken and honey mustard. It was filling I could barley finish the whole thing. they didn't skimp out on the chicken! Though I think it was a little burnt, but a little char never hurt anybody and I still enjoyed it. I've heard good things about their burgers, I saw a couple people walk in and get burgers with no complaints. They have a tight but nice set up, welcoming for people to sit. It helps to come when it isn't busy. The workers know what they are doing and are very nice. Large menu and a bunch of drinks, snacks, smoothies and coffee. read more

Very small place located in Manhattan. I went on a weekday around lunch time and it was packed. That being said the employee who took my order was friendly and fast. No bathrooms at this location and expect to take your wrap to go. Now onto the food. I tried a chicken Cesar. It's a decent size and was priced right...especially for manhattan. A drink and wrap was under 10 bucks. It was a good wrap. Not amazing but not bad either. A smidge too dry for me. I hear good things about their thanksgiving wrap so maybe I'll give that a try next time. read more

Fast , inexpensive, packed, no bs good meal. All the workers from around here all go here. You should too.

First off, amazing and friendly staff as soon as you walk in. I could immediately tell they have a great relationship with their regulars. Overall great customer service and food was ready in a timely manner. Second, the food. It was amazing!! The California wrap tasted fresh and the dressing went well with the chicken; the cheese in the oven baked potato could have been melted more into the potato but was delicious nonetheless. They were very generous with their sides as well (sour cream, butter, utensils, etc). Lastly the smoothies were delicious, fresh, filling and priced nicely at $6.50 for a medium (don't see that when buying from franchises!). My first experience here was amazing, will definitely be coming back! read more

Such a hidden gem!! The Italiano wrap was one of the best wraps I've ever had! High quality ingredients and they stuffed the wrap without it spilling out when cut in half. Great prices too!! read more

Small , convenient and staffed with well - mannered people running this burger joint. Great beef served at the temperature you desire. I went here yesterday for a quick lunch after almost everyone had a burger "special "where I work and I asked for directions to check it out. I didn't want fries and was accommodated with a salad instead. Good stuff. On the same side as Pastrami Queen and a burrito place, Wrap and Run seems to be holding there own against heavy competition!!!!! Remember it's a very small place more designed for take out but it was a pleasure to sit down as well. read more

Decent neighborhood spot to grab breakfast or lunch but nothing exceptional. They gave plenty of chicken on my sandwich but it definitely could've used more cheese and more honey mustard - seemed like it had a single slice of cheese and a tiny smear of honey mustard, I could barely taste either. The bun was also supposed to be toasted but it didn't seem to be at all. Prices are pretty cheap though so there are some good things about it. All in all, I may be back now and then since I live less than a block away but I've been to a couple of other delis in the area that are better. read more

This place was terrible! I ordered from here the other day for lunch and the service was horrendous. The guy taking the orders was so rude. I told him to just give a me a second to order so I could look at the menu. Once I decided what I wanted to order , I paid with my card and he starts yelling "Can you sign this please, I'm trying to get you out of here!" Meanwhile he gave me the receipt to sign approximately two minutes after I handed him my card. I was getting extremely annoyed at that point but I tried to keep my cool. I ordered a tuna wrap that was bland. My brother had the chicken club wrap that barely had any taste. My sister ordered a cheeseburger deluxe but when she bit into her burger it was still pink inside. The only good thing about my sister's meal were her fries. And to top it off they gave us dirty napkins in our bag. Don't waste your time. Just RUN AWAY from this place!!! I'd rather go down the block and spend $11 dollars at Pick A Bagel for a quality sandwich. read more

0 Stars!!! I ordered their Chicken Tenders entree platter for lunch today. The chicken is pretty much RAW. Half way into eating, I started feeling like the texture of the chicken tasted a bit off, so I decided to cut into a piece and that was when I noticed that it was pretty much raw inside. I've actively induced vomit in hopes to get whatever I ate out of me. Crossing my fingers on not getting any food poisoning from this!!! read more

I love this place! The wraps are awesome, you have to try the Thanksgiving wrap. I don't even like Thanksgiving staples that much, but this place got it right! The stuffing is moist, the turkey isn't dry and the cranberry sauce is just the right amount. Their prices are fantastic for NYC, I mean where else can you get two wraps for under $16? The delivery is fast, they always say 45-55 minutes for delivery, but without fail, every time I've ordered, its at my apartment in less than 30 minutes. The onion rings are good, not super greasy. My SO tried one of their juices and said it was good. Highly recommend! read more

Randomly stopped by after Summer Streets because I was craving a healthy smoothie. Opted for the blueberry + banana + non fat yogurt option and it was pretty good, but a little too much banana for me. Busy little sandwich shop. Nice guys. The sandwiches are big, filling and inexpensive. Solid place for a satisfying lunch.

Their burgers are on point, and huge. The patty alone would be the big kid in the playground that makes the little kid shake shack sized patty cry. My coworkers and I order from here regularly, and their service is always quick and accurate. The place itself is a small hole in the wall with no room to sit, or stand even when it's busy. Their smoothies are fresh, their wraps are the size of average burritos, and they use real fat sausage links instead of patties for your breakfast sandwiches. I'd shy away from their vegetable sides...they tend to be over boiled and bland. Anything else that's grill related..go for it! read more

Been working in this neighborhood since 1987 so I've been dealing with the owner George the entire time from there to now and I have to tell you that he is a rare breed of owner the city can actually learn from. For one, he's stood the test of time when other restaurants/deli's/markets have come and go. He's still here. He's always had a great staff that ALWAYS takes pride in great customer service. The food is always great and if you have any issues(which is EXTREMELY RARE) the owner and/or the staff takes care of it without hesitation. Always a down to earth staff that is always positive so your experience there will always be great. read more

Small place with about 10 seats but phenomenal sandwiches !!!! If you're hungry and looking for a good, freshly made sandwich this spot is definitely for you !!! The Grilled Chicken Specialty Sandwiches are the best ! The Texas and East Sider are my favorites!. Bread is always soft and fresh, so is the chicken. Also for the area sandwiches are priced reasonably. Besides sandwiches they also got salads, burgers, smoothies and breakfast selections as well! Staff is also friendly as well.
