Ceaser salad

Very nice. Love the freshness, the options, and the health benefits. Depending on who's making your salad, you may not get the portion you desire, as each time I go I get more or less. One particular employee skimps pretty hard on the portions, which is just annoying. Also there's no place to park. So for those reasons I can't give 5 stars, but the overall execution of this place is great.

Crispy Chicken Poblano salad with dressing on the side

Okay I'm obsessed with this place now, and can't wait to go back. I wish I lived closer! I love a good salad, especially if it makes it easier to eat greens and it tastes good at the same time. This place kind of reminds me of Chipotle, but for salads and wraps if that makes sense. I LOVE all of the toppings you can choose from, and I love that they have veg. meat options for those days I want to go meatless. So far my favorite proteins are the crispy chicken, the braised chicken thigh, and the tofu. They also have a plant-based meatless option for my vegan friends. (I think it's vegan "chicken") You can make a salad into a wrap, which I've done a few times. I like both the salads and wraps though. I have not tried the smoothies or warm bowls, so I can't speak to that. Portions were generous imo, I didn't even have to ask. The guy that took my order the first time I visited was just piling the ingredients in the bowl, I was shocked lol. They do charge for extra toppings, but you can also ask to sub toppings for another one if you don't like something. The employees I've come into contact with were friendly and got my order right, so I have no complaints there. Two small things I will mention though: parking can be challenging to find, especially bc it's close to the university. Another thing, prices are on the higher side. (Again, think Chipotle) For the quality of the ingredients, the portions, and the overall health and wellness aspect they bring to the table so to speak, I think it's worth it because the salads I've had have all been fantastic and filling. I feel good eating this food! I can't say enough good things about this place, and I've already told a couple of friends about it. They need to build more of these ASAP!

This was okay in terms of the fresh spinach arugula and salad greens which were available. Portions were on the small side and the people serving were not exactly enthusiastic They didn't look like they wanted to be there. The food was okay but the serving size was small. We asked for tofu instead of chicken and they gave maybe five or at maximum six little squares of tofu. We ask for avocado and they will only two little slices of avocado that were not even 1 inch long. Then the salad dressing was on the side but it was those small 1 oz containers but it was only half full. Not sure what was going on with all the stinginess but it was very unpleasant.

I hate that I love this place because the service is awful and it is so expensive (~$15 a salad) Yet I still go back multiple times a week Amazing plant based options (tofu and Daring chicken) and very fresh ingredients

Hot Honey Harvest

Just Salad exceeded my expectation with this Hot Honey Harvest bowl. What I really appreciate was Adrian's presentation. No sloppy mixup mash of Cava or Chipotle, rather all the healthy flavors and friendly care in presentation - makes it photo worthy and delicious. Looks appetizing and delights the senses as it is delicious.

Rotten kale from the power salad. I ended up throwing out the salad.

I don't often post poor restaurant reviews but today it feels right. I'm my office mate and I ordered thru grubhub and scooped up our salads before a meeting. We got back to the office and all the kale in the salad is slimy/rotten/clumped from being slimy together. I called to ask about a refund and was told if I don't pick up a new salad today that I'll have to request a refund through Grubhub. What I don't understand is that Just Salad put rotten kale in a salad...how is that grubhubs problem? The chick said she couldn't comp a salad for another day and that if I wanted a comp it would have to be today - but due to on going meetings I am unavailable. My disgruntled review comes from it being a salad place - literally "Just Salad". If I ever ran a salad joint I'd be on the lookout for rotten products and avoid putting them in a bowl/combining them. There were *no* non-rotten pieces of kale which made me realize the person putting it together just didn't care or was over worked that it went unnoticed... I stopped trying to pick out the rotten kale from my $16.50 salad (too many small rotten clumps that made the salad taste poorly) and threw it out. Bummed by my experience as this used to be my go-to for quick, healthy, and tasty salad.

Just order in person, never for delivery. Will just send you anything no matter how bland it is.

this place is pretty good it is a little overpriced but that is just like anywhere on university. the good thing is the portion size was really good i was full by the time i finished my salad. they also have a lot of different options, and you can customize your salad anyway you want. also it is a healthy option which is great. service was good as well, the workers were nice and I received my food quickly. Only complaint is I think it should be a bit cheaper. It is cute and clean inside

Plentiful options and delicious, healthy flavors. Will definitely return when in the area.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever been one to say "I'm in the mood for a salad!" But lo and behold, the day I decided I was, I figured checking out this new place in midtown would satiate that craving. And it sure did! The options are endless, you can go the traditional "Chipotle-esque" route and build your own bowl orrrr you can try out some of their signature bowls. My boyfriend and I settled on their pesto chicken salad and buffalo chicken salad respectively. The greens were fresh and delicious, the chicken was nice and tender, but most importantly the dressssssing Definitely enjoyed my experience at Just Salad, and fun fact if you buy their reusable bowls for the low-low price of $1, you get a free extra topping every time you use it. Sustainability ftw! Overall, 10/10 salad place would come again!

Build Your Own Salad (top) and crispy chicken Poblano salad (bottom).

My husband and I placed an order to go. I ordered the build your own and he ordered the chicken Poblano Salad. I had ordered my Salad with Kale and sweet potatoes and it came with neither of those. The toppings that were included were very sparse. My husbands salad was wilted, the tortilla chips were stale and chewy, and they included hardly any toppings. Very disappointed and will not be ordering from here again.

I saw this place FINALLY opened up and I had to try it out. Met up with a friend here and I was genuinely surprised by the interior; the furniture was very modern and trendy. I also love their option to purchase a reusable bowl for free additional toppings so you can literally Go Green and save a few extra bucks! I ended up ordering the Buffalo Chicken Salad, unfortunately they didn't have the "buffalo chicken available," but they were very accommodating and made sure to toss grilled chicken in buffalo sauce for me. The service was spot on and everyone was friendly and pleasant to talk to. I enjoyed the salad, but it was not MIND BLOWING. It tasted like something that I could make at home. I probably will try something else next time. I also thought the prices were a little high, but the salad came out in a HUGE bowl. I couldn't even finish and I usually eat big portions. Overall, this is a great spot to meet up with an old friend or a cute first date spot. Just Salad isn't a place I'll be grabbing a bite to eat any time soon, but I definitely will go back to try something else. P.S. I geek over places with great ice and this is one of them. I am a big fan of their "shaved" ice for their drinks. Be sure to grab a water cup and experience it yourself.

My friend and I met after we parked our bikes. She was sitting outside, and as I was locking my bike, less than a block away, she texted me. I just walked to her without responding, and with a smile and a hug, we walked in to look at the menu. The sandwiches have some very creative names that go along with their creative construction. I got a #10, which was a fusion of French dip and Philly cheese!! I wanna buy the person a beer, whoever thought of that one! Even though it was busy, we didn't wait long to order. Every sandwich comes in a paper bag, so you can take it out or stay and munch. We got a combo with chips and a drink, because how else do you eat a big sandwich like this?! There are board games to play, decor that is not typical and a big display of Guy Fieri, from the Food Network, that lets you know this place is on America's culinary map. After the sandwiches were done, I brought them out to my friend Kimberly, who was saving our table. We both were hungry, so out of the wrap and in with the teeth. Mine was full of flavor and the fact that all the sandwiches are heat-pressed, made the texture very satisfying. The au jus was thick and delicious and made me think someone took great time and effort to make it. It is a casual restaurant, great for a date or a group of friends, or a solo quick lunch, that can also be a dinner as well. The food is somewhat pricey, but it delivers as a good meal with a creative touch. They could have emptied the garbage can more quickly, as it was more than overflowing, when I went to throw the garbage away. Memorable food, and makes me want to come back to try at least two other sandwiches that I read about.

Located in midtown, this appears to a fast casual place that caters towards college students. They serve "Greek" street food, salads, quesadillas, burgers, and more. The food is relatively inexpensive. Service is fine, actually the people working there are friendly. Food is made to order and comes out quickly. There is some seating available inside (it's limited) but there are plenty of tables in the hall. I ordered the Street Chicken Souvlaki which included grilled chicken with tomato, onion, fries inside a pita, topped with ketchup and mustard. This was a very large portion. The pita was good, but pretty much fell apart the second I picked it up. While I liked the chicken, it was over seasoned and I didn't care for the "sauced" quality of it. I'm not sure if they marinated it or tossed it in some sauce, but it was too much. The fries were decent, but not super crispy. I felt that they were not necessarily and a little over-the-top. The tomato was fresh and but the red onion slices were very thick. The mustard and ketchup didn't work with the seasonings on the chicken. The dish was just all over the place and I couldn't even finish half of it before I started feeling sick. I ordered a side of onion rings as well. This was a large order and the size was great. But these onion rings were over-battered and were fresh, but not crispy at all. I bit into one and ended up pulling out the whole onion rings. Not good. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience. The food was so heavy and overly salted I couldn't even eat half of it. I ended up giving it to a homeless person on the way out. The food left my stomach in shambles the rest of the day. Service is fine. But the food is not desirable. It is safe to say I will not be returning, which is unfortunate.

Order at the counter, get a number and then they will bring food out to you. Self serve water is available inside. We were there a busy day. Wait to order wasn't too bad and we found a table outside, but nobody was bussing any tables so basically customers sitting down were left clearing the dishes from the table of the people before them & wiping down the table. Nobody from the restaurant came out to help or apologize and it wasn't until dishes were almost toppling out of the bin that anyone took them away. Menu is pretty diverse - you can get some traditional items or more eclectic. We ordered the green goddess salad, croque mademoiselle (ham & cheese sandwich) on gluten free bread & okonomiyaki (japanese pancakes with cloud eggs). It took probably 30 min to get our food. The food presentation is really lovely & feels special when it's delivered. However, taste left something to be desired. The Japanese pancakes weren't good. The egg specifically looked really pretty all puffed up, but was so bad none of us were willing to have more than one bite. There were some other funky flavors going on there as well that detracted from enjoying it. The ham & cheese sandwich was okay, but the cheese is put on the outside, including a runny cheese, so it's a total mess to try and eat. Definitely do not order this one on a date! We ended up just eating the inside portion. It does come with a small green goddess type salad, which is nice. The entree green goddess appeared great when delivered. Loved the light, fresh dressing and ingredients. However, lots of the lettuce had sort of rotting tips, which made me worried to eat it especially since this isn't the cleanest place. Despite appreciating the quirkiness of the restaurant and the selection of fresh options they offer, we won't be returning.
