Okay, we were bored with all the other lunch choices and I tossed out Chicken Salad Chick as a choice. My wife jumped at the opportunity as she loves chicken salad. I do not. But hey, one time can't hurt. I always envision an empty restaurant and a one option menu. Well I was pleasantly surprised. I got the Maui Mama and a side grape salad. It was great. My sandwich states it's spicy and it didn't disappoint. Pineapple, bacon, cheddar cheese and jalapeño. The sandwich was served on a toasted croissant which I have to say was one of the best I've ever had. The grape salad was awesome and we're already looking up copy cat recipes. My wife just got a single scoop of CS with a side of broccoli salad. It was good, but the sandwich was better. If I have one dig, it's the price. Slightly more than traditional fast food. I don't think I can afford to eat here several times a week but we now have a new lunch option in town. Bottom line though, and this sums it up, we'll be back. read more

I was so excited to see this location come up on my Google Maps due to the one near me closing some time back. I placed my lunch order online, and it was so easy to navigate. There is plenty of parking and a huge covered outdoor patio to sit at and enjoy the weather or sit with a pet to eat. I walked into the separate online order line, and my order was ready when I got there. My food was packaged really well, and they answered my request for extra crackers, which I appreciated. I ordered the meal that was a scoop of Dixie Chick chicken salad on a croissant, side scoop of the dill pickle chicken salad, side pickle, and cookie. We stopped in here for lunch today while traveling. We love Chicken Salad Chick! It never has disappointed! We both got the Barbe-q chicken salad on a croissant roll with broccoli salad. I got the potato soup with mine. It was very good and tasty. Love their potato salad! This was the first time trying the Barbecue flavor chicken salad. Definitely recommend it!! We ate outside on the patio area and loved it. It had a nice breeze blowing through and was nice and relaxing. Chicken salad is decent, not great, but decent. I want to go back and try more options for sides. I thought things like the crackers they give you should be put out by the drink machine or something as I had to go ask for more. I adore chicken salad chick. Everything I have had is really good. They have every type of chicken salad which is cool! I typically get the trio which you can get a combination of different things. I really like to get the broccoli salad, and kickin kay Lynne along with either the pimento cheese or a homemade soup - depending on what they have for that day. The atmosphere is definitely more of fun lunch vibes. The employees have always been friendly and willing to help. It's also a newer and clean place. They have outdoor seating and fans. I have seen some bring their pup outdoors. They also have prepackaged small and large dishes. So if you'd like to bring some extra home for the week that is a great way to do that! read more

The main difference between the Fruity Fran & Fancy Nancy is that Fruity Fran has fruit (including pineapple), while Fancy Nancy has fruit & nuts. Your chicken can be served on lettuce or a sandwich with a side (I ordered pasta salad which was good). Every meal comes with a little sugar cookie with buttercream icing! When I heard a Chicken Salad Chick was opening in Gainesville, I was really excited! After hearing so many positive things about this restaurant from friends, I really wanted to try it out for myself. I came here with a friend for dinner. The interior reminded me of an upscale Panera Bread meets southern grandma's house. It was unexpected but I liked the vibe, I thought it fit very well with the menu. I ordered the Fancy Nancy and a pasta salad as my side. I appreciated how the entree also came with a pickle and cookie. Food wise, I think it's a solid 3 stars. The chicken salad sandwich was very average. There was not anything over the top amazing but nothing horrible either. The pasta salad was a bit too sour for my liking. That being said, the cookie was amazing. It was definitely the best part of the meal. Although my entree wasn't my favorite, I do plan to come back to try the other chicken salad options. I recently discovered Chicken Salad Chicks via radio advertisements. Excited they had finally come to Gainesville Florida I went for a visit. This place is so good. When I enter I approached the counter. Having never been before the young man behind the counter took time to go over the menu with me. He was very sweet. I placed my order and went to get my self-serve drink. Was I got me drink I went to find a table? I really loved that they had table clothes on the tale as a real southern home would. Isn't wasn't long before our food came. I went with a classic chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. It was so good. The croissant was flaky and buttery and the salad had the right amount of chicken to mayo ratio. It also had the perfect seasoning. I was also impressed by the portion. As for the price it was average not too expensive but not cheap either. Overall a wonderful place. Great friendly staff and very delicious food. My only regret was that I ate everything without grabbing any pictures. But I'll be back to get some. read more

I was craving Jason's deli tuna sandwich on croissant so I decided to try this place out . I personally never had chicken salad and wanted to try it out. Really hope that chicken salad is better than what i experienced. Very average, not much flavor and quiet honestly bland and something about it just kind of grossed me out. Maybe it was the quality but maybe I'll just look up a recipe and make my own. The croissant tasted kind of stale. The pickle that came next to it was spoiled and had this sour milk taste. The macncheese I got tasted chemically. I don't know how this place is still running because it was just so disappointing. Not worth the price but I guess affordable. I'm not sure if to try something else on the menu but if their signature meal isn't up to par it just makes me think the other items will be just as bad. Chicken salad chick was located in Gainesville years ago, and I am glad to see it come back to the area. I was able to stop by for a quick lunch at the church and it was exactly what I needed. The only thing is parking is very tight. It is an a plaza with several other food eateries and businesses so you may have to park across the street in order to access the business. Besides that the food was great, the service was excellent, and it was exactly what I needed on a hot Florida day. read more

I know Chicken Salad Chick has been around for a while but I never visited until recently for the first time. I don't usually have a craving for just chicken salad so this is probably why I always opted for something else. I chose three different salads, in the small size, and a large broccoli salad, since I'd never been there before. I brought them home and ate a little from each of them with small squares of bread. I have to say I was very impressed. I got the Lauryn's Lemon Basil (my daughter's name), the Jalapeno Holly, and the Dixie Chick with onion. Those lasted for three meals for my husband and me and all was about $34.00. This is a great option for something different and I will be visiting them again. read more

Was in last night for only our 2nd time since this location opened. On first visit food was okay, but we noticed a lack of a friendly smile at the welcome. We decided to make a 2nd visit last night. And what a difference! The young ladies working the order station were friendly, welcoming and happy to explain questions we had about menu options (and there are ALOT of great menu options!). Once we had ordered, our food was delivered quickly and so nicely presented. We were surprised to see not only our sandwiches and sides, but also a pickle and an individually wrapped sugar cookie! The cheddar broccoli soup was my favorite...creamy and FULL of both broccoli AND cheese. And it came with the right amount of yummy crackers to go with it. In fact, I was so full after the healthy portion of soup that I wound up boxing up my pimento cheese sandwich to bring to work for lunch today.
