It's a little dirty / carpet needs to be vacuumed and floor swept Food is good though / their seafood menu is amazing ... and so is their dessert selection. The large shrimp meal was plenty of food and tasted great - French fries are the best I've had in a while and the shrimp is super. I was by myself inside the restaurant however their drive thru was backed up consistently several vehicles

Was looking for a late night meal and came across ANF Gyros. One thing that I love is Gyros, this is my 2nd review for this company and I am still pleased. The first time was their signature wings (bbq flavored) and today was the Chicken Tenders. This is a "Food Made To Order" Spot, so when you arrive and waiting in your food, know you might have to wait just a little but rest assured your food will be fresh. The fries were fresh and so was the chicken. 10/10, I will return again!

Found a diamond by UF right on University. ANF GYROS AND GRILL they serve tradonal gyros and Greek salads but also have burgers, shrimp, crab legs, Phillies and more. The food is fantastic!! The taziki sauce is homemade and goes on the gyros like may on a BLT. The Philly cheese was delicious and the fried okra was hot fresh and crispy. Oh and I can't forget the Battered onion rings, such great flavors. If you haven't tried this place yet, I highly recommend it.

This place has great prices all around. It's got a nice dining vibe inside, dimly lit but lots of windows, it sits on a corner. We got shrimp and scallop Orleans, stuffed shrimp and blackened red fish. Everything was served hot and at the same time and all very good. We all got collard greens and they were excellent. My only minor beef is that the blacked fish wasn't very spicy. Still great though. Service was very good. Great spot and best prices I've seen anywhere.

The wings were flavorful, well-seasoned, and hit the spot, and the fries were crispy and satisfying, simple but solid. That said, when my friends' seafood boils came out, wow. The smell alone was incredible rich, buttery, and seasoned perfectly. I couldn't resist trying a few bites, and I'm glad I did. The potatoes and broccoli were especially good, soaking up all that seasoning, and the seafood itself tasted fresh and well-cooked. You could tell this is really where they shine. The portions were generous, the food came out hot, and it's definitely a fun, casual spot to go with friends. The atmosphere feels laid-back and social, which makes it great for group dinners. While my non-seafood order was good, seeing (and tasting) the boils made me want to come back and try a full seafood meal next time. Overall, a solid spot with great flavor, especially if you're a seafood lover. I'd absolutely return and next time, I might just give in and get my own boil.

When you have a job you can't wait 45 minutes just to get your lunch. They are constantly understaffed and say they aren't and blame it on random affairs. There's never anyone at the podium to seat you. It's not welcoming to come and wait for five minutes to get acknowledged. Hire a hostess for minimum wage to just at least get seated nice. It gets tiring giving a chance over and over and the same thing happening every time. We spend an hour and a half for lunch. So if you are in a hurry do not go here. Will update when service is better. I hope this get someone's attention to improve there stuff I do like this place and want it to succeed but it's getting ridiculous and not worth it waiting for. Pros: the foodhas always been good Cons: price and inconsistency

We kept having to ask for essential items to be brought over, like food that we were missing or cocktail sauce and crackers for the oysters. Our drinks never got refilled even after asking. Our server also didn't clear our plates after we were done with the apps and first round of oysters so our table ended up piled high with dirty dishes. We witnessed multiple wrong orders being delivered to tables, patrons asking more than once for things, and discounts being doled out for poor service. The servers, manager, and kitchen don't seem to communicate and are forgetful. Every single table in our section was complaining about the service. The ambiance also feels dated, and not in a charming way. On the bright side, our calamari and fried green tomato appetizers were pretty good, though! We came on a Thursday for the $1 oyster special. The oysters were on the smaller side, but thats to be expected for $1. Wahoo could be a really great restaurant if they had better service and a facelift to the decor, but for now, we won't be coming back. :(

The place was pretty much empty, but it seemed like we were forgotten about until maybe 15 minutes after being seated, when a server happened to walk by and asked if anyone had taken our drink orders. I ordered an Old Fashioned, knowing I was taking a risk ordering that kind of drink in this kind of restaurant, but figured if it was advertised on their menu as a specialty cocktail, they'd be good at it. I figured wrong--it was not good. Started with a small Caesar salad, which was fine, if a bit overdressed. For an entree, I had the ribeye with mashed potatoes and broccoli as sides. The ribeye was underwhelming, not particularly well seasoned and not an especially good cut of meat. The potatoes were really unimpressive, having an odd taste and definitely not very garlicky. Hate to say it, but I can get a better quality steak and sides for less money at just about any Longhorn in the country, as much as I dislike national chains. Shout out to Taylor, who ended up being our server. She was fantastic, even if it seemed she was stuck covering half the tables in the place on her own. I'd also add that the menus are on iPads. This is just silly, and barely a step above QR codes printed on the table. I don't want to tap through a bunch of screens to figure out what I'm going to eat. Give me a real menu to page through. It's much easier to flip back and forth to reference what I want when I'm ordering rather than trying to navigate through a digital menu. I wouldn't place this restaurant high on my list of places to revisit next time I'm in Gainesville.

I didn't want it anymore .Fast forward, then this guy brings out the checks while I'm still eating. Like really?
