I ordered take out but the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming with a few tables and a TV. I'm Not really sure why people are rating this place so low. The pizza is solid, especially if you get it freshly made. Not always a fan of the pizza that sits in the turner all day so purchase that with caution- most times it's dried out. That's why I prefer ordering the pizza hot and fresh. Today's choice was the stuffed hot pepper pizza. Totally delicious but I rated 4/5 because I do wish it had more sausage. Flavor was amazing though. Their pizza is on the thinner side but I personally like it that way. Overall just pizza is clearing doing something right with the number of locations they have all over Buffalo. I didn't try Just pizza until last year, this pizza is excellent and well worth the hefty price. This location is the best, you get friendly welcoming service with a smile. When you pick up your order they open up the box to make sure it is up to your expectations, I have never had a problem with the service or the quality of the food. I mentioned hefty price because everything has gone up since covid. They were fresh cut and made well. She really enjoyed them. I ordered a double order of wings for myself. I got 10 wings as bourbon whiskey barbecue and 10 as blackberry barbecue. The blackberry were a bit better. All of the wings had a lot of meat on them. I added a slice of pizza, which I was being cashed out. They had four different kinds in the warmer near the register so I bought a stinger one. It wasn't bad. They were the biggest wings I've ever seen. Three items ordered: 1 the Hollywood pizza - which is like a meat lover's: undercooked and not very good taste to the toppings. 2. white pizza with mozzarella, broccoli and ricotta... it was the best of the three but just OK. Really good gluten free, the regular not so much. I'm an admitted pizza snob who grew up in eastern upstate NY, and I know there's a Buffalo style pizza, but surely there's some better than this. I had their regular pizza and it was bland, blah, just...there just isn't anything there. Just not good. Not terrible, mind you. It wasn't gross. It was just very blah. I had more flavorful pizza at Wegmans two days ago, and it was better in every respect: crust, sauce, cheese, toppings, all of it was better. This was just not good. We live up the street from this Just Pizza. The pizza is always delicious. My family will order the Monday special which is a great deal. One large cheese plus one ingredient pizza plus 20 wings $25. Just crazy good. They even let you sub boneless wings. Husband states teriyaki wings are great. Staff is always pleasant. I always look at yelp reviews and health score on yelp before ordering. With all the Just Pizza locations in the area, I finally had to chance to give them a try yesterday. I had ordered some for a church event. We had a variety: plain cheese, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and mushroom for the regular pizzas. We also had two gluten-free pizzas: one cheese and one pepperoni. Overall I thought the pizzas were very good. The crust was a decent thickness, thinner than typically Buffalo pizza. If you prefer a thinner pizza, as I do, you will like this pizza. The pizza is not quite as thin as New York or New Haven style, but it is pretty good. Because the pizza is thin, you can eat more slices than you may expect, so plan accordingly. I had thought we had too much pizza, but there were only a few slices left at the end. I had no complaints about the pizza, and I enjoyed the slices I ate. I would give Just Pizza another try in the future. The gluten-free pizza went over well, although I did not try a slice for comparison. Delivery was one time, not bad for a Sunday at lunch time. Just ordered through DoorDash and while it took a little longer that was expected because the Bills Game was starting at 5 pm and I placed the order at 4:15. I ordered a single order of Blackberry BBQ wings and a 1/2 baked cheese sub with onions pickles and cucumbers, comes with lettuce and tomatoes. The wings were great! The blue cheese has no flavor, I believe you're stretching it too far, completely bland. The sub, while I asked for it baked wasn't even close to toasty at all and the sub oil was straight up oil, yuck, the cukes were 3 chunks not slices, I think they tossed the lettuce at it from across the room there was nothing on it, 1 pickle and A sad tomato I almost couldn't find. Busy or not have some quality control, glad I paid to have to doctor it up to make it taste like anything and toast the soggy roll myself. Now I've had a chance to try some other pizzas that New York has to offer at a small (but chain store) pizza joint called Just Pizza up in West Seneca. As far as local pizza places go, this is one of the most consistent and tastiest. There are so many varieties to try and each one of them has been great. My personal favorite is Laura's Old Fashioned pizza. It features a sweeter sauce, thick old fashioned pepperoni and caramelized onions. We used to really like Just Pizza and ordered often from here. The quality (like a lot of places it seems) has gone down hill over the years. Today we placed an order $39 for a medium pizza and double order of wings, is WAY TOO much considering how low their quality has gotten. On top of that, tonight we were given the wrong pizza not once, but TWICE. They were nice enough to have the 2nd delivered (we picked up the 1st one) but when they brought another wrong pizza my bf who was beyond hungry and frustrated (it had been over an hour since ordering at this point) just took it. It wasn't bad... but HOW do you get the order wrong TWICE? There was nothing complicated, we didn't ask for anything specially done and it is a pizza that is on their regular menu! Maybe we'll try again because we used to really like the specialty puzzas but when you're paying for food you didn't order and not getting what you actually wanted it's really disappointing and not worthwhile. read more

Called on Thursday 4/28/22 asking to do a preorder for a birthday party delivery. Was told by a young woman that it wasn't a big order and that I could just order it on the same day. Called today, Saturday 4/30/22 at 10:08am to place an order for delivery. Ordered two sheet pizzas, a bucket of wings and two gluten free pizzas to be delivered for a birthday party at 1pm. Confirmed everything over the phone, was told 1pm for delivery wouldn't be an issue. Paid the total bill and a $10 tip for delivery driver in advance. In total a $170 bill. 1pm comes along and no food. No biggie, it's lunch hour on a Saturday and figured they were busy. At 1:10pm, I called to see if everything was okay and/or if the driver was lost considering the location. Was told by a man over the phone that the original person (young woman) who took my order wrote it down as a carry out and that our order was still in the pizzeria. He stated he could get the pizza in a car immediately and drop it off. Figured that's okay, wasn't his mistake. Being just a 10min drive, I asked if it would be easier if I just picked it up myself. He stated no, because he would be leaving immediately. I said no problem and considered the issue rectified. Once again this is a 10min trip. 1:30pm comes along (20min after our phone call) and still no food. So I call again. They said they would call the driver and get back to me. I said okay no problem. Once again this was for a toddler's birthday party. At this point there's crying and parents are all upset and hungry. The last straw was calling at 1:37pm to ask if he was lost, and as soon as the man heard my voice on the phone he hung up. Every phone call was placed on speaker, my husband and other adults in the room were furious. My husband left and went into the pizzeria (at that time it was 1:50pm) for a full refund and to speak to a manager. To his surprise all of our food was still sitting there in the pizzeria. It was never on any delivery car in those last 40min like the person stated. He said the mans voice at the desk sounded like the person we had been speaking to over the phone for the last hour but the man denied it and denied hanging up on us. Instead of a full or partial refund, the most they claimed to be able to do was give us a $25 gift card, a gift certificate for a free pizza, and refunded us the $10 delivery tip. But that is not enough. We will never go there again, so the gift card and certificate was pointless. My husband didn't think it fixed anything, but when you have a 3 year old crying at her own birthday party because she's starving, at that point you just want to get the food and get out of there. Once the food was finally there, it was cold. We had to warm it up ourselves and even then it was disgusting. And the wings were incorrect (we ordered medium and hot, we received plain and medium). This was by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The most disrespectful thing in my opinion, is that I gave them the option for me to pick it up myself when I first called at 1:11pm. This could have been fixed from the first phone call. Such a disappointment. Now they have lost 30 customers considering everyone at that party used to go there, but after this mishap everyone is disgusted. read more

Eh. Not horrible but won't be my favorite either. Why, why whyyyyyyy does any self respecting pizza place cut a round pizza into squares? It does nothing but wreck the entire pizza! I now know you can request it to be cut traditionally into triangles but I certainly didn't realize that beforehand. Plus not to be a drama queen but I think that turned me off to this pizza to begin with. Anyway ordered a large with honey sesame crust--which was a nice change from the "plain" crust had everywhere else...I found the sauce to be on the bland side-possibly needing more oregano or spices in general....The chicken wings however were great! ( go figure!)...they are on the small side which meant they were actually crispy! Something that almost never happens anymore because most places now use those gigantic flabby wings....these wings had a very delicious flavor, and are now at the top of my chicken wing list.
