**Watch what they charge**. They overcharged me twice. First time, when I called them out, they gave me the money back. I go here only when I'm desperate for pizza. The pizza and food I would give a 3 star. It's okay but not great. The service I would give a negative 2 (thus the 1 star) the people that work there are so rude. I was sharing a large pizza with some friends and I asked them to cut it half and put in desperate boxes. I know it may have been an annoying request, but they have better cutting utensils then we do. They responded "we don't do that" and this is after I tipped 5 dollars at check out. I ordered online tonight and the system gave me a message that there was an error and I wouldn't be charged. Seconds later I got a notification from my credit card that I was charged the amount of my order. When I called the restaurant the person I talked to said there was nothing he could do to help me and I would have to call the office in the morning. So now I'm at work with no food, and down almost $27. I work at a local Hotel and will certainly not be recommending this restaurant to our customers from now on. read more

Do not UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES order from here. I walked in to place an order for a double order of wings and the cashier said 25 minutes. I waited for about 45 minutes before I walked up to the counter to wait for my order. After another 20 minutes of waiting my girlfriend called to cancel the order and was called a bitch by the person on the phone. I have Skype with a number they can call back attached to it. Because someone has used skype to prank them in the past, they REFUSE to take an order from anyone calling via skype. It took 10 minutes of explaining while a manager kept telling the woman on the phone to hang up because I was pranking them. They asked my name and I gave it. Now, I wonder if I'm going to be accused of being the pranker. No, I wanted to order lunch. I gave them the number they could contact me on. I gave my name. I'd give my address if they wanted and they'd see that I've ordered before AND TIP WELL!!! They said there was nothing they could do and I'd just have to find another number to call from. Really? That's a lot of effort to get a pizza. I'm not even going to bother. Just Pizza isn't normally on my pizza radar, but my family was starving on our drive back to Amherst from Angola late yesterday evening. I called in an order at about 9:20pm and they said 30 minutes. We were only about fifteen minutes away at that point but once we arrived I went in anyway and thankfully the pizza was ready. They were fairly busy, but the girl who cashed me our was cheerful. We got a large pizza, half pepperoni ($18.98 w/tax). When we got home fifteen minutes later, we opened the pizza box and it just looked odd? The pepperoni was on approximately 7/8 of the pizza and I think they tried to cut it in squares but it was cut (but not all the way through) and into oddly shaped pieces of various sizes. Don't get me wrong, we ate all of it - some of us picking the pepperoni off - but it was just the oddest looking pizza I've seen. I think we were all way too hungry to be good judges of taste, but it wasn't terrible. I'm in no rush to order from them again. I should probably only give the experience 2 stars, but the staff were nice, even when I'm sure they would've rather been out celebrating St. Patrick's Day. read more

So I've ordered pizza from there a bunch of times and it's been amazing but today I decided to order subs for me and my boyfriend and the service and food was horrible. He ordered a chicken finger sub with bacon and they charged me 4.95 for bacon. Then I ordered there 3 cheese steak sub and they put onions on my sub after I asked and emphasized that I did not want onions on my sub. It's such a shame because I really do like there pizza and subs but this made me not want to order from there again. read more

I can't agree with a lot of these negative reviews. I think Just Pizza, while a little pricey, it's delicious! Never had a take out issue with delivery being late and it typically isn't cold upon arrival. Wings are decent, pizza is really good usually. Their subs are standouts! They use great rolls and good ingredients, and for a pizzeria they are very good. While it's not typically my first choice for pizza, it's up there! read more

My go to place for a cheap slice. The chicken cheddar broccoli is really good, as is their steak and sweet pepper. For ~2.75 a slice I can't complain. It's hit or miss as far as the business goes- sometimes deserted, sometimes packed. Either way, a good ol' buffalo slice doesn't disappoint. Ordered half of a turkey sub, no onions, no oil and an order of deep fried mushrooms. Waited about a half hour but the mushrooms were right on point, cooked thoroughly to perfection, however, I only wanted half a sub and got a whole one and I didn't want onions and they put them on there anyways, there was barely any mayo on it, tons of lettuce like they put a whole salad on it, they put pepper on it which I had no idea they do that, the turkey was dry and tasteless and the roll seemed stale and the crumbs went every which way but it is a large seeded roll though. I usually don't write reviews, but I finally decided to post after multiple bad experiences with Just Pizza on Elmwood. I would say based on all the orders I've made there, they've messed up the order about 50% of the time. Typically they'll forget an item if I order more than one. And one time when I ordered pizza, the toppings had slid all the way to one side of the box (driver probably titled the box). The last straw happened just now: I just ordered delivery - chicken fingers and fried mushrooms. The driver got out of the vehicle, saw that he didn't have friend mushrooms, and proceeded to try and charge me full price for two items knowing he only had one. After I pointed it out, he apologized and looked again for the mushrooms. He said he couldn't find it and asked if he wanted me to go back and have mushrooms made. At this point, I had already waited 45 minutes, and I didn't appreciate trying to be swindled, so I just told him I'd pay for the chicken wings. He then subtracted 6 dollars and told me to the pay the difference, and asked for an amount that was only 4 dollars less than the total (bad at math). After this whole experience, I'm never eating there again. If anything, I probably gave them too many chances. read more

I love stopping at Just Pizza whenever I come to Buffalo. Their menu is gigantic and they have specialized crusts to choose from. Over the years since I have been stopping into the Elmwood location they have done a lot of renovating inside and it looks really nice inside. The one thing I would change is the bar seating, your feet just dangle and that is kind of annoying, I'd like a step or something to rest my feet on. I love the garlic crust with my pizza. The employees who work there are pretty good and friendly. It is always a stop I make when I head to Buffalo for hockey games or concerts at First Niagara, it is just 10 minutes away and always hits the spot! read more

I've been ordering from Just Pizza for years because I think the pizza is all right (not great, just all right), but their service has reached an all-time low in the past couple of months. This time, not only did the guy on the phone not seem to understand the names of local streets and not believe the address they had on file was real, but he scolded us for asking for a pizza with a topping on part of it instead of all of it. I didn't think it was a very odd request, It's one they've done in the past. Then, when the pizza came and was nothing like we expected (they didn't follow our instructions about the toppings, it was party-sliced when we'd asked for pie, it was a white pizza drenched in olive oil, etc.), we called back and got it replaced. The second delivery guy took the original pizza back and seemed to expect a tip just for correcting the error; when the pizza was again not what we'd wanted, we called and were told that we'd been reading the online menu wrong. About two-thirds of it is apparently white pizzas with mushrooms, onions, and peppers on it. This applies even to stuff not in columns marked as such. They were not polite about telling us that we were the ones who'd screwed up, even though if we HAD been ordering the item from the menu they still got our instructions wrong. I wish that I could give negative stars. I just ordered a margherita pizza for delivery. Let me preface this by saying that I am from NYC and have lived in Italy. WHAT A JOKE. "fresh mozzarella" does that mean freshly processed?It was NOT fresh - its frozen from a bag. "Vine ripe roma tomatoes" - do you mean from a can? DISGUSTING. AND THE ICING ON THE CAKE? DRIED BASIL AND OREGANO SPRINKLED ON TOP WHEN THEY SPECIFICALLY ADVERTISE FRESH. This, on top of the poor quality of their crust recipe as well as the oil that they use, makes this, hands down, the worst pizza I have EVER EATEN in 44 year of world travel. A lady wanted to order something a certain way (forgot what it was) and this lady got so frustrated at trying to understand the order...that the customer said forget it and walked out . I never been to this kind of franchise before, but it was a bit busy. This was late on a Friday night Mar 17th, 2017.. St Pattys weekend. My coworkers decided we should go to this place and get some pizza. They seem to like the pizzas they got, so I decided to grab one. I'd only eat the pizza if there was only chicken on it. I don't want beef, or pork on it.. just chicken. So I saw their vast menu, and saw the item.. "BBQ Chicken" and ordered two slices. They gave it to us.. quite fast. Like.. there was no wait time. I usually want my pizzas fresh.. so I know this wasn't a fresh slice. Second, I saw bacon bits scattered all over it. My wife wasn't happy. When she found out after the first bite.. she knew something was off.. and try to spew it out. I went back to complain, and they wouldn't take back the falsly advertised pizza. We threw the pizzas right into the garbage. I went right back in line to see what other options they had.. without bacon.. and out of the vast variety of pizzas they had.. they only had cheese pizza.. and pizza with cheese and mushrooms. Went in with a few friends and I had a bloody nose so I asked for the bathroom key after ordering and went in to clean myself off and cleaned up after myself when I was done and gave the key back. One staff went in after I did and made a huge deal about saying there was blood all over the place (even though I didn't see any blood at all when I left the bathroom) and all the other staff proceeded to be rude about it. Lemon pepper crust is always best! There lethal wings were great the first time then it was like they just poured sauce over top of them but there still the best and hot as hell just how it should be...Honey BBQ wings are on point! I used to work at this just pizza. They are by far the most clean restaurant I've ever been to or worked at. Their ingredients are always fresh, their food is delicious, and by far one of the best pizza places around. The only problem is the people that work there. They are arrogant, inconciderate, asinine people. They could care less about their customers and they treat their employees horribly. I wasn't even allowed to get a discount when I worked there. They even made us pay full price just to get a drink...it got so bad that we started going next door to the 7-Eleven to get drinks. You can work 40 hours a week there and still not get full time. I quit about 3 years ago and since then I continued to order from them. They are very over priced. Whenever I call they either get my order wrong, it's never on time, or they are very rude. My 60 year old father went in there last week to pick up some food that he ordered over the phone and they told him it would be about a half hour. When he got there the food wasn't ready and the service was nonexistent. I called tonight to order a delivery, it was a small pizza and 10 wings. They told me it would arrive in 35 to 45 minutes. I waited over an hour before I called to ask where my food was. The woman who I spoke to was very rude and said that they didn't even have an order from me. For that small pizza and 10 wings it was gonna be $45. They just lost a loyal customer. I would suggest to anyone that wants to order food to either order from casa di pizza, LA novas, or mister pizza. I placed an order for potato skins and a bacon cheeseburger sub. When it was delivered, the sub had no cheese and no bacon. I thought, "Okay, they made a mistake, I'll try them again as they're so near me." I call, place exactly the same order, they deliver it, this time the sub has bacon but no cheese, and instead of potato skins they brought me fries. I call to notify them they got my order wrong twice, the manager, a man named Joel, says, "Call back tomorrow night, I'll be here all night, I'll give you a free order." So I call back the next night, the manager's not there. The employees call him and say he only agreed to comp. the sandwich, even though both the sandwich and the side were wrong on my previous order (and twice in a row in the case of the sub). I'll never do business with these people again. $30 for an order in which they got two items wrong, and they're so stingy they won't even correct both their mistakes, only one. I cannot say anything good about any food I have ever ordered here. The speciality pizzas are over priced and the ingredients are mediocre. Always slow. The dough tastes like cardboard. Sauce and cheese are alright. But a plain pie isn't that great and it's expensive for what you get. Allen town pizza serves up a better one faster and less expensive (the dough is nit soggy and cardboard).... just saying. Wings are also meh. Pit wings are also mediocre in comparison to other spots. There's plenty of places that do wings and for JP's prices you should just hit up la nova. Delivery is slow, but I have always had a nice driver. Just slow. Maybe that's the kitchen. And I also have delt with the rude lady at the counter that appears to hate life... I have had pizzas wings and subs here, all mediocre. Subs come with errors.
