My hope is not to discourage others from purchasing from this business, but for this business to hear my disappointment and correct your mistake. This was the second veggie sub I have ordered from you that I had to literally dig through to find the highlighted ingredients of this item. While there was plenty of shredded lettuce to be found, there was literally less than one full artichoke on both halves. The only reason there was a decent amount of mushrooms is because I paid for extra (my first experience of the sort had barely any mushrooms or artichokes). I followed him to see if he would eventually wash his hands but he never did - all the while, preparing food. I have ordered this pizza multiple times from multiple locations and it has always been amazing. THIS IS FOOD PORN... A square-sliced pizza with a thin crust which is covered with tiny bites of chewy carmelized onions. Savory and well seasoned pieces of thin cut steak, mushrooms and hot banana peppers are smothered in three distinct cheese. While I am unsure of what the actual cheeses are my best guess is Mozzerella for stretch and chew, Monterey Jack for creaminess and Parmigiano Reggiano (the undisputed king of cheeses) for flavor. Of course, it could be provolone, white American and Piccorino Romano...but the effect would be just about the same. Point being, this is the perfect blend of cheese (and meat) each creating a synergy of deliciousness!! I watched two girls on the line doing this, while it's busy, and while I'm waiting an additional 15 minutes for my pickup order after I was told 30 and came in at the 35-40 mark. Two boxes of gloves directly next to these employees, if you aren't going to use them, why are they even there? I get that the pizzas are going to go in a hot oven and most germs will be killed but I work in food service and wearing gloves while handling someone else's food is DAY ONE. What's funny is that I have heard the counter staff YELL "line forms to the left." 2). They have my favorite pizza in the city. It's a nice short walk from my house. My daughter is a big fan of it too. The crust isn't too thin or thick. The sauce has a nice sweetness to it and the perfect amount of cheese. It's only about 2.50 for a slice of cheese pizza so makes a cheap quick yummy lunch when we don't feel like cooking. read more

Upon settling in the Buffalo area, it was quite clear that "Just Pizza" was the pie chain that you saw everywhere in the area. With plenty of time to kill, and having never been to a location, I figured a visit to the original at Elmwood & Summer would be most fitting. The place wasn't too big, but it had just enough seating. The walls are plastered with Sabres memorabilia, as well as ESPN's Chris "Boomer" Berman posing with the owners. From the "order here" point, one can see in plain sight the pizzas being made from scratch, getting ready for a delivery or take-out. Being by myself, I would have to stick with slices. Of course, I wasn't going to order all 75 varieties of pizza, but I was confident in a select 3: cheese (because a good pizza joint MUST master regular cheese pizzas), buffalo chicken (it was the special), and 3-cheese steak, the option that the place stresses the most, claiming to be "truly original" in the pizza world. In a fortunate case of luck, I secured a cheese slice from a right-out-of-the-oven pie, and it was downright delicious; the type of slice that makes you return in the future. Unfortunately, the other two slices were straight from a heat-lamp turntable, and while not bad by any means, they did not come even close to the bar set by the cheese slice. The Buffalo Chicken was nothing home to write home about, but the cheesesteak was indeed unique and delicious, just obviously sitting under a lamp for some time. In conclusion, outstanding pizza out of the oven, not so under the heat-lamp. Despite the name, there's more than JUST pizza. Your usual pizza-joint subs and wings are on the menu too, as well as an above-average dessert selection. which I didn't try this time but might definitely do so in the future. Based on what I've heard about this place I got exactly what I expected. Visited on a Tuesday night, place isn't busy at all (literally one other customer) and I'm told it's a twenty minute wait. All the delivery vehicles were parked, so I'm thinking those orders weren't exactly hopping either. Forty minutes later my food is finally ready. The fries were mealy, and the chicken was... Fine, I guess. Usually I go to Duff's or Gabriel's Gate for wings, but tonight I just wanted quick take out. Huge mistake. I absolutely should have known better. You expect a ridiculous wait somewhere like Anchor Bar that's a tourist trap, but this is a fast food pizza and wing joint. Forty minutes for mediocre food is nuts. I avoided this place like the plague for years. The reviews were generally bad and the branding didn't appeal to me. But... after stopping in for a unexpectedly great slice about a month ago I decided to risk a full delivery order - and a second this evening. I don't know what to tell ya, Just Pizza is kinda great! First of all, I found the counter and phone staff to be super friendly - and the delivery guys couldn't have been nicer. The pizza was so hot both times it arrived that we actually had to let it cool down a bit. I ordered the wings hot and they were great too! The pizza itself is more similar to Bob & John's than Franco's or Leonardi's but I generally like alternating between the two kinds anyway. The crust was great, the sauce was slightly sweet and the pepperoni was very high quality. I suppose it's possible that they read the bad reviews and stepped up their game but in my experience Just Pizza is flawless. read more

Attempted to place an order through their online order system. At the end of the order process, there was an error and a message came up saying... "There was an error connecting to our server, your order has not been placed and you will not be charged" I have no issue with that as technology is not perfect and mistakes happen. However I checked and my bank account was of course charged for this order. Once I realized this I called the Elmwood & Summer st location to double check if they in fact received the order, they did not. I was then transferred to a manager who then told me to call their main office as there is nothing they can do. I called their main office and had the pure displeasure of talking to Nicole Pagan their "Business Office Manager" who the moment I started to describe my issue cut me off mid sentence to assure me that I was wrong and that I was not charged and if I was it is my bank's problem and they will rectify it in 4 business days. The moment I attempted to disagree that I was in fact charged for the order she became further impatient and irate. She accused me of being "Nasty" while talking over me for simply disagreeing with her then continued to tell me how great at customer service she was. Me and the members of my staff have been ordering from Just Pizza ever since we opened across the street and never been handled with such disdain. Our company deals in customer service and have since used this as a prime example of how not to resolve issues that arise. Bottom line is their online ordering system is flawed and their "customer service" in dealing with such issues is horrible to say the least. In a town filled with plenty of top-notch dining opportunities, I would expect more from a company claiming to be "Buffalo's Premier Pizza & Wings" read more

I'm a long islander so pizza is a big deal to me. This is virtually the only place where I will eat if from. I'm not talking about the to go single slices they have under heat lamps (those need a lot of help). I'm talking about the pies you get fresh from the oven - delivery or carryout. Their three cheese steak is amazing. You'll love it with banana peppers. They also have an option for cajun crust. Do it. Adds a really great seasoning so everyone will be happy eating the crusts. I also really like their wings. I'm partial to their BBQ because they give it a nice char. Gives the wings great crunch and smokiness. Living close by, My boyfriend and I are frequent flyers of Just Pizza on Elmwood. Our favorite order is the deluxe Greek pizza with sesame and hot pepper crust (the seasoned crust is no extra charge!) which we order around once a month. Mary F is usually at the register and is always so sweet and accommodating. The area can get a little sketchy at times, and I've seen her handle unruly customers very well, something that is not easy to do. The staff seems to really get along well and have great communication. I can tell they each care about their job and making sure every customer is satisfied. The guys in the back are always incredibly nice and respectful as well! I have never been disappointed with the food or service!!! read more

There's a few seats to sit at inside to eat, and during the warmer months there are some available seating outside. But pizza by the slice or choose the size. There's over 75 varieties of pizza you can choose from or custom make yourself. This place isn't Just Pizza even though the name says otherwise, you can order other side grub as well *wings, fries salad etc..) or even a sub of your choice. This place is close and they have an extensive menu. The food is hit or miss, especially when it comes to temperature. The worst part about this place is the delivery time. You are ALWAYS given an ETA of 45 minutes to an hour, which in itself is ridiculous. 95% of the time, you can tack an extra 30 minutes onto that. This often means that the food is cold. I can't decide if it annoys me or if I like that the delivery person calls when they arrive. Some of what they offer is delicious, like the honey dipped chicken or the grilled wings. The pizza is okay at best, as are the subs. They get chicken, though. I often am very picky when I order and I ask for uncommon items. The one time they messed it up, I'd asked for a wheat crust, but they gave me regular crust instead. No big deal, though. It tasted better. I tried to order pizza and wings from the website, when it redirected me from the checkout page to back to an empty cart, with a small pop up reassuring me that I hadn't been charged. A man answered the phone casually, and when I made an inquiry about pizza size, he proceeded to answer me in a patronizing tone, calling me "honey" and "sweetie," and saying sarcastically that I could "have whatever I want." First of all $17 for a SINGLE order of wings is highway robbery. That's the cost of an entire dinner at a moderately priced restaurant, a dinner that would have probably been better than the 10 wings I got. Now I've been getting wings from Just Pizza for literally decades when a single order cost less than $10, or thereabouts, and they were 10x's better. They used to have the smaller wings that would crisp better, and they had the smaller wings when almost immediately after pandemic restrictions were lifted they (and all the other Pizza rias in town) for whatever reason raised the prices of chicken wings. And they weren't raised slightly but by quite a bit, like several dollars. They claimed it was due to travel restrictions and the inability to get steady supplies of them, which at the time was understandable, and that they'd lower the costs one things got "back to normal". Instead they now sell the big meaty wings that I hate, as well as most die hard Buffalo native wing lovers. They never taste as good as the smaller ones and they are NEVER crispy enough. And I asked for them to be on the crispy side. They were the opposite. And I had to wait half a hour for them, and it was a pick up order! And they weren't busy! Now I haven't been eating wings since the pandemic because #1 the price is, I'll say it again, highway robbery, and #2 when I have from other places, they sucked. For $20 they sucked anyway. If a restaurant (I don't care if it's McDonald's, a neighborhood Pizzeria or a 4 star restaurant) is going to raise it's prices significantly then as a post pandemic consumer who's feeling the financial restrictions like everyone else I expect better quality. 5 stars for the pizza. -1 for the service. Delivery took over 65 minutes. I enjoyed the whole wheat dough and it wasn't overly cheesy. Visiting in town drinking with friends led to ordering and I thought it was interesting to get their perspective. I'm not used to getting top notch Buffalo pizza anymore and my local friends were underwhelmed with this pizza. It was funny because I didn't tell them the crust was whole wheat and they alluded to the crust being different but tasty. Whole wheat crust has a tendency to be more dense and flat with more texture. This was no different, however the group was used to standard Buffalo pizza and this was a bit different. I enjoyed the WW crust; it was delicious with the right amount of cheese and sauce. Is there a reason for eating here? It's location is convenient on Elmwood, and they sell by the slice. On a bar crawl, such a place has value. Still, the pizza is greasy, the workers somewhat apathetic, and there was an odd lack of napkins to be had without getting back into a long line to beg for them. I had to make a yelp account just for "just pizza". 1. today is November 2016, their menu directly off their counter displayed a "super saver 8" for $33 and some change. they charged me $35.20 and then $3.08 for tax. 2. this location has only managed to correctly give me a pie that is cut in slices NOT squares ONCE. I always tell buffalo pizza shops to do slices. I wanted to have them remake the order but the fear of them tampering with my food is the last thing I need.
