At this particular location, I don't get good cell service so I stopped doing the curbside pick up because it just wasn't working out. Otherwise, customer service is always so friendly and helpful. They're usually knowledgable whenever I ask questions about my pets and what the best products are for my pet's individual needs.

Three hours later, I called to check on her... and that's when I got the call no pet owner ever wants to hear. They told me the groomer had accidentally cut the end of her tail. No prior call! No warning! No transparency! They said they took her to the in-store vet -- but when I rushed over, my dog's tail was fully bandaged and no one could tell me what actually happened. No details. No explanation of how severe it was. No report from the vet. Nothing. As a dog mom, I was absolutely sick to my stomach and beyond upset. You trust people to care for your pet, and instead you're left with injuries and zero communication. This is NOT okay! If you love your dog, please DO NOT ever go to Petco next to Promenade. Ask questions. Advocate for your pet. And don't assume they'll tell you everything if something goes wrong. I'm sharing this so no one else has to experience the fear, frustration, and heartbreak I felt today. Our pets deserve better. 1 Star because I couldn't give zero stars!

I asked if there were any issues, and they mentioned that my dog got a little nervous during nail trimming but that was it. However, when I got home, I noticed a cut on her leg. I called the store immediately, and they asked me to hold because the manager was in the bathroom. After finally speaking with her, she apologized and explained that the groomer had failed to inform her about the injury. When I asked how to resolve the issue, I was told to bring my dog in for a check-up. I made the trip back to the store, and the staff simply looked at the cut, said it would heal on its own, and advised me to clean it and use a spray. I was frustrated by how the situation was handled. I felt like my time and effort were wasted, and the manager seemed irritated and dismissive rather than concerned about my dog's well-being. Apologies alone aren't enough in situations like this, and I expected better care and customer service. I won't be returning to this business again, despite my efforts to support local businesses.

I attended the 9/14 event for a kitten and loved how the Let Them Be Little Feline Rescue (LTBLF Rescue) provided an enclosure so you could take a kitten or cat inside to interact with them. There was two other shelter organizations and I truly enjoyed seeing all of these cats being well cared for. Although I did not adopt a cat that day, I expressed interest in fostering kittens with LTBLF Rescue and was matched with two beautiful Siamese babies within the week. Loved attending the adoption event at this PetSmart and wanted to share my positive experience here! Highly encourage anyone interested in adoption or fostering to come out and network with shelter organizations in your community to learn about their programs and services!

Ever since we moved to the area, he's been consistently getting groomed here during the last 5 years. I will never know what really happened. I got a call that my dog was at the vet next door because of an "incident." I rushed over to find they sliced his ear. According to the manger on duty, my dog "moved." My dog is old. When I got there he was back with the groomers. I found they just put a bunch of glue to his wound. Although they treated my dog as soon as this incident occurred, requests for an incident report were ignored. I also attempted to follow up with the store manager following this incident and was never able to speak to him. Beware because it's only a matter of time before it happens to your dog too.
