This place was overpriced and they ruined two pieces of clothing while charging me outrageous rates to fix the issues that never got resolved. I finally took my items to another tailor where I had to pay again. This place needs to go out of business. The pricing is ridiculous and the outcome is mediocre. read more

Amazingly enough, this place has been open for almost two years and I didn't even know it was there until a few months ago when I needed a dress altered for the wedding. It is in a small shopping center across from Davis Drive Elementary and you can't see it from the road. The woman that I think is the owner is always there and is super sweet, but more importantly, she does a great job. No crazy long lines like the tailors in the mall and some of the other established tailors in the Cary area. And she has turned around my alterations super fast. She first fixed a dress for me and since then I've taken her four pairs of pants to have shortened. Two were jeans where she was able to shorten and keep the hem, and they look great. Her prices are reasonable, I think I paid around $10 for the jeans. read more

Grossly overpriced. My daughter dropped off her prom dress to be hemmed. I went to pick it up today and they charged $133.00. They said my teenage daughter agreed to this price. I believe the took advantage of a 17 year old. I will never go back! read more

Took in my best suit pants which had two problems: a busted belt loop and a button that had come off. She didn't talk about price, which made me a little nervous, but I was willing to pay whatever in order to fix this expensive (for me) suit. Picked them up two days later. Do not go to this place. Very pricey. The lady at the shop said that she would tell me the price of stitching after the measurements and the work to be done, but she did not tell me that she would charge me for the measurements if I don't place the alteration order. She said the price is $40 for the work which I got it done at different place for $22. She charged $6 for the simple measurement to trim the bottom of the dress and the sides. I wouldn't suggest anyone to go here or if you go there, first check all the payment policies. I don't know the quality of the work because I did not get alternation done here. read more

I've had a prom dress (4 years ago) and a pantsuit tailored here. She's very courteous and very professional, she remembered me from 4 years ago! Very personable. The work done was great, I had to get a floor length shiny prom dress hemmed and also the sleeves and pant leg of my suit hemmed. Not very complicated stuff, but it was done very well and in a timely fashion. I'd definitely recommend her for alterations like this, no complaints. read more

I have NEVER been treated so badly by a place of business. I was on a 4 day deadline for getting my $180 Mori Lee chiffon gown hemmed and the straps adjusted. Normally I always go to Skylark tailor at Cary town mall, they are the best! But since I was closer to this tailor at the time I decided to stop by and see if they could get it done. After taking 30+ minutes to pin the hem at the correct length and cutting the sleeves and pinning them in the correct place she informs me that overall tailoring will cost $150 which I have NEVER paid so much for, I told her that was completely unacceptable and was almost the entire price of the dress and that I would take it to my normal tailor where the price is around $50. She insisted that I needed to pay her $10 for pinning and cutting my sleeves off but she could only except cash. I did not have $10 in cash and told her i would have to bring it back which was no problem at all. She told me that was ok and wrote down my address and phone number but then would not allow me to take my gown. She tried to rip the gown out of my grasp and caused me to fall backward as she pulled and tore my gown. I fell to the ground and scrambled out of the door with my belongings. She screamed that I cut her hand from the pins in the process. I have no idea how it ended up this badly over $10 but I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS FACILITY. That evening I went to my usual Skylark tailor, they undid and re-pinned her horrible pinning job in less than 10 minutes and charged me my normal and expected $50 for hem and sleeve adjustment AND fixed the rip caused by Just Fit Tailor and all done in time! Lesson learned, stick to what you know is good. read more

We have had many dresses altered here and everything always fits great. They are done very professionally looking. Cost is average. The tailor is very nice and accommodating. read more
