I brought back a pair of pants that had been hemmed and looked great, but just didn't feel comfortable when I wore them. I was worried I was asking too much since I'd already been in a few times about these pants, but Ping couldn't have been more understanding. She insisted on letting them back out while I was there, even though it was near closing time. She also noticed a jacket I had and tightened the buttons on that too--again, on the spot. She was so kind, accommodating, and generous with her time, and she wouldn't even let me pay. That level of care and customer service is rare. I explained exactly what I wanted and she said no problem, $10 each. When I went to pick them up there were issues with the hem. I showed her what was wrong, she ok come back and pick up in a few days. I did and it was ok. This year I went to have the same thing done again. I figured since we had the misunderstanding that it would obviously be done correctly this time. I was wrong. This time when I went it was busy, she had 2 people sitting and she was measuring a man. I was willing to wait but she went ahead and took the shorts. I went to explain it all again but she said no I remember you. Then she told me the price would be $14 each. I was taken off guard at the price increase and I looked around but did not see any posted notices of the change. I tried to explain that it is a bit much more for the same work. But I was in a hurry too and said ok but made a comment that she should post a notice of the increase. She did not like that. Well when I went to pick them up I checked in the car and saw that half were done wrong again and the other half had crappy work done. The thread was already coming off the jeans plus the hem line was far from straight. I decided to just go home and take a closer look before having to tell her again that something was wrong and I wanted to compare them with the previous ones she had done for me. When I went back she had a man getting measured so I waited. As soon as I started pulling the same shorts out of the bag she started with her attitude. I was explaining my concerns and she started talking over me. She was talking so fast I could barely understand about every other word. And she would not stop for me to talk. She was saying that all I do is complain, to which I said I just want the work done correctly. After a few minutes of her talking while I was talking she started yelling. At that point I was done. I mean really if you had just done it right to begin with and taken that time to listen to me then there would have been no issue. And yeah I am gonna bring back crappy work after I paid for it and expect it to be done the right way! I told her I was not gonna be talked to like that by anyone and let her know that I would be making this post and she said she didn't care.
