    Sausage Gravy Over Biscuits
    Sharon I.

Decided to step out of my comfort zone and go for a nice big diner breakfast with my husband this morning. I am usually an omelette or breakfast sandwich kind of girl when we are out. I was pleasantly surprised by this little place that I pass by all the time and have never given a thought. Their menu is huge and portions plentiful. I ordered the biscuit and gravy served with sausage and poached eggs on top of a very fluffy biscuit, with home fries on the side that were nicely crisp. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The gravy was very creamy and not to thick. My husband said the Belgian waffle was crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside, a perfect combo. Ambiance is a typical diner so nothing fancy, but they don't have to be. Adam does a great job in the kitchen and the hostess/server was very attentive. It's a nice little local place in the village of North Syracuse worth a try. They are open 7-2pm and we ate at 8am. Only about 5 tables occupied but let me tell you at 9am the flood gates opened. Service was fast and the refills of coffee non stop. In addition to the menu they listed about 10 specials on their board, and they make many of their own desserts. They also have a small wine & mimosa list if you'd like to imbibe.

The kids and I frequently spend breakfast together on Sundays. We heard about Just 1 Bite Too from a friend and thought we'd give it a try since it's so close to home. Service was good. Our waitress was very attentive and quick. We didn't have anything out of the ordinary BUT the first thing I noticed when I tried my eggs was that it was cooked with butter...mmm...that extra flavor was delicious! If you didn't already notice, the pancakes were HUGE! haha It was bigger than my head lol I didn't care for the potatoes but everything else was good. Would def come back!

Today was the 1st time I ordered the pancakes. Omg they were HUGE! I immediately set 1 aside to take home. The one pancake I ate over stuffed me. I probably could have taken 1/4 of it or 1/2 of it home. Also, they had a crispy edge. There are not many places that make that happen and it made me happy. Bacon and coffee were delicious too. I will be back for more pancakes!

This diner is an example of the small gems that can go overlooked when you don't live in the area! My father and I first went to a well-known diner in the area and it happened to be closed for repairs. So we ended up here, as it was the closest diner to the first. I ordered the small fretatta, and I will say that it was more than enough food for breakfast! It was absolutely delicious, hearty, and plentiful! Our server was a complete sweetheart and very attentive. I highly recommend and I will most certainly be a repeat customer.

Quick stop before my lash appt which is across the street and ordered a cup of chili with cheese and sour cream and 2 muffins The staff is extremely welcoming and kind. If this was near home or on the way to the office I would probably stop by here every day!

Honestly, we almost didn't turn in to park. The outside made us hesitant. But, never judge a book by its cover.... This place was fantastic Our waitress was on top of it and the food was delish. Our whole party was satisfied. Highly recommend. I rated it 4/5 due to the bathrooms needing an upgrade.

Came here for breakfast with some of my family about a week ago and the experience was pretty good. First you go in and seat yourself, easy to navigate and a nice vibe to the place. The waitress was very fast in greeting us and gave good service throughout the meal. The coffee was good and the waitresses were very good about keeping the coffees full. I posted a couple of the meals we got. I got the biscuits and gravy and I felt like it was a little rich, so it was hard to eat it all. I think it is more of a meal to get and split it with someone then get something else. I also was not given toast even when the menu said it came with some. Everyone else were very satisfied with their meal. They also have very good prices for their food. Overall experience was good and I would come here again.

Looks closed for the winter. Parking lot is unplowed and a lonely car is ice-covered.

It has strawberry jelly and peppery cheese and is scrumptious. Often I like to eat it right away in the car, but it's wrapped in a foil later and does keep well if I go home. A very unique spot unlike anything in Syracuse and I'd recommend stopping by to try at least once -- even if you're not vegan or vegetarian!

Our server was also the bartender and he was friendly and helpful....it was our first time visiting. The menu is very eclectic but highlights their house brined, battered and fried chicken. We looked over the menu before going and were excited about the Chicken and Biscuits. It wasn't on the menu, but our server was positive it was available. Three of us ordered the Chicken and Biscuits and one ordered the Hot Mess Chicken sandwich, which she declared delicious. The chicken and biscuits was excellent with a nice amount of chicken and vegetables, creamy and flavorful and homemade biscuits served on the side. I actually prefer the biscuits on the side because I seldom finish my meal so when I take it home, the biscuits are Not soggy. My only disappointment was that while the dish came over looking like a hearty portion, the chicken and biscuits was served over mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade, creamy and seasoned nicely seasoned.....but the actual amount of chicken and biscuits was pretty small. (We didn't know it came with potatoes because we it wasn't on the menu so we didn't get a description) I am looking forward to many more visits and trying some of their signature house brined chicken. A menu full of takes on classic American fare run through a different flavor profile, and it maintains the large and excellent beer selection of this spaces previous tenant. Take their menu, full of fusion into dishes like their garbage plate and flatbreads that feel unique in this area and still fit the expectation of the originals. Then there is the occasional misfire, like the vindaloo cheesesteak that looks like some premade microwaved slices on a bad roll. This has been pretty good, but if you find something like the cheesesteak, try something else. That's the weird part, for a place with excellent service, an amazing selection of beers, and an experience which places it well above other Destiny locations like Bullfinch and other generic options in the new expansion (it should always be a bad sign for a site when Cheesecake Factory is in the short list of better options to eat at like Karma and the wildly overrated Bullfinch); it needs to have a solid menu top to bottom, don't make us find out what things are crap. It's tough enough to handle the noise in there even when it isn't busy. Overall, really good spot, but a few changes to remove the dead matter will make this the only option in Destiny worth anything. ANYTHING.
