This was our first time eating breakfast here we figured there's always a line so it must be good. When we walked in we saw why there's always a line there are not a lot of tables. We got sat down and starting reading the menu when the waiter came and asked us to move to another table so they accommodate a bigger party. No big deal but odd. My wife ordered eggs bacon and hash browns with a pancake. I ordered the GM special which was a omelet with bacon sausage avocado and jack cheese. All of the food was cold except for my omelet was was very hot. Food was good but not great. The biscuits and gravy were ok I think they would have been better if the gravy was hot instead of like warm. Overall with the wait and quality of food we rate it 3 out of 5. Don't believe the hype! Went this morning for the first time with a group of colleagues to have breakfast. One of my colleagues was approached as we walked in by a wait staff and was asked to put his water flask back into his car because bringing it in was against policy. This embarrassed my coworker whom has a medical condition which requires hydration. We then were seated and they were slow to take our order. The food arrived and, honestly, it was below average yet the prices are above average. We were there to celebrate a birthday when our experience turned even worse. We brought a cake for our colleague and management did not allow us to sing, cut or eat the cake. What restaurant does that?' This was not welcoming, the prices are high, service was bad and the odd restaurant policy's made this experience horrible! There are way better places to eat in Clovis that are welcoming and have good food. I will not recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a pleasant breakfast with friends or family. No worry about giving this place a second chance. I don't want to be worried about getting kicked out by the owner of an sit down eating establishment for going over her allotted time. I guess I cannot sit down while eating and chatting with friends here. Definitely not recommended for other business sales people for those that need to impress. Before the owner of this restaurant proclaims this reviewer is a "grouchy customer" because this eating establishment didn't earn 5 stars, it is best to look in the mirror first. Learn some lessons from other 5-star restaurants and businesses that I have given 5-star ratings and continue to earn my business. We have been coming here for a long time and it's one of our mainstay favorite breakfast places. There have been a few unfavorable changes over the years such as the salsa and the chicken fried steak declining. You can't go wrong with the breakfast specials Monday to Friday 11-2. Standouts are the biscuits and gravy and the ham steak! Usually good service but with a loud country kitchen style atmosphere. Good for a no frills breakfast out. Avoid the Mexican dishes. read more

First time here, didn't know what to order as everything seemed good. So tried a little of everything. No I did not eat everything as all is a shareable size. Judge by the pictures. My husband (Big Mike) and I are regulars here. I tried the new giant chorizo quesadilla. OMG! Maybe it was a combination of me being hungry or craving chorizo but I don't think I can eat chorizo any other way again! I got full, but wanted to keep eating lol. It was perfectly cooked. The food was very bland, bacon was cold and taste like it was made earlier. 4. The coffee was very bland (watered down) and it cost me well over $5. I ordered two for me and a friend. I appreciate the manager getting to me about the review I've posted. I wanted to let you know that it was not 12/30 that I made a visit to your resturant and I was not alone. I wanted to state that I did order 2 cups of the bland coffee that was over $5. I apologize for that mistake. Maybe the 2 times I came to your resturant YOU guys were having a bad day. But I am pleased to know that the bread you guys have served recently was fresh and the bacon was also cooked on order and fresh. But unfortunately I did not have that courtesy when I was there. But I do appreciate your concern about the day I was having, it was going really well until I disappointed in the food you guys served, but I stand by my original review. Cute breakfast spot. Food was good. Disappointed in our waitress. She gave us a minute to look over the menu. She was pretty brusque and we felt rushed to decide. When I ordered a salad I asked about the dressing. She said it doesn't come with dressing but I can get some if I want. Based on her comment I assumed maybe my salad would already be tossed with some kind of dressing...it wasn't! It was completely dry. Glad I requested salad dressing because as soon as the food was served our bill was also put down. That was the last we ever saw anyone. They definitely give you the impression they want you out as quick as possible. Had it been crowded I could understand but only three tables were seated. When we left the waitress was so friendly! My husband & I are new to the area and have a couple days out of the week where we are almost kid-free in the morning besides a noisy toddler and we're always looking for good, new spots for breakfast. Because of all the good reviews we decided to try Jus' Jo's out today. I will say service was great. We were greeted, seated quickly and our food came out very quickly. Our waitress was also very kind and very attentive. Everyone helps everyone and I really like to see that. The coffee was pretty good, but as far as the food goes we weren't too impressed. I got an omelet that was decent. Hash browns were also ok. The most disappointing for me was the biscuits & gravy. The biscuits were very dry and the gravy had hardly any flavor. Overall just a little lack-luster on the taste, but since the service was great I wouldn't mind coming back to try lunch. read more

My wife and I have been coming here for years and years. Angie and her staff are the best. My favorite is the Veggie Omelet but you cannot go wrong with any of their choices. The coffee is the best, strong and hot. On busy times you may have to wait but instead of that being a bad thing. talk to people and make friends. The staff are doing their best to get your food out in a timely manner. A long wait means people are willing to wait for the best breakfast and lunch in Clovis. The food is always tasty and hot. You will not leave with an empty stomach. This restaurant made it through the pandemic by serving us outside and with take out and we will never forget that. It used to be my favorite breakfast spot in Fresno but right now Im reconsidering because the food is not good as it use to be and I think I have to be honest about it. I ordered the Chili Verde Omelette, which was titled the their "famous" chili verde omelette, and I think I was really disappointed not with the portion, but rather the lack of taste, flavor and quality of the food on my plate. If something is titled famous, I would think the item would taste the best right? but unfortunately I was really disappointed with this famous dish. Firstly, the country potatoes tasted old and soggy. Very unpleasant, its normally good but this plate was really bad and I don't understand how hard is it to make crispy, fresh tasting and mouth watering country potatoes, it isn't exactly rocket science. In addition, the omelette tasted very bland and had almost no flavor whatsoever. The chili Verde was suppose to be the highlight of the dish, yet it lack any spice, tasted like a very bland poorly made chili verde made by someone who had no experience in making food. The eggs were very dry and rubbery in taste, a great omelette should be fluffy, and moist. Was I asked how my food was, no!. In addition I didn't feel the warmth from the server like they use to be. So right now I think portion wise Jus Jo's is huge but i am thoroughly disappointed with the taste and quality of the food. Would I return?
