Big menu with something for everyone. They bring your food out as it's ready; which is nice.. eat it while it's hot; however the downside is that some people at your table maybe eating sooner than others; or some of your items might not come out until later. I ordered the special banana crème waffle combo.... Omg it tasted so good like eating grandma's banana pudding. Fresh banana, whipped cream and even nuts on top;even a vanilla wafer. I could of just eaten this by itself. However my combo also came with eggs and either bacon or sausage. My other half ordered meat lovers omelet; he said it was good and plenty of meat inside. My friends ordered a steak; cooked to perfection ; and tender. And my other friend ordered a red, white and blue waffle. Fresh fruit and waffles cooked correctly. Must say this Resturant takes allergies very seriously and even takes it that extra step and bring you the labels on certain spices so you can see for yourself what's in it. You ever just need a pancake? I needed a pancake, so I came here. And I'm so glad I did. I also got a waffle. Nothing else. Simple day. Simple, but one of the best pancakes and best waffles I ever had. I don't know what it is about the batter, but it had the best flavor. I don't think I've ever used so little syrup when I ate a pancake or a waffle. They were that good. I'm usually smothering them in syrup to have some kind of flavor going on... not needed here. I heard of this place years ago and kept meaning to check it out, but would go to the same breakfast spot because it was familiar. My parents were visiting and asked them if they wanted to try a new restaurant I heard of, so they agreed to try it too. When we arrived a server greeted us and directed us where we could sit. The menu had an abundance of amazing selections. Our server was amazing to Explain the breakfast quesadilla I ended up ordering. She was so nice and loved the vibe there. So the breakfast quesadilla gave me brunch vibes. I never heard of such an item. It's a mix of breakfast and lunch. And it's so much food, in the best way possible. My mom had the juniors French toast and my dad had the rib eye. We all loved the food! My dad said it's now his new favorite place :) The chef came to our table and spoke to my dad about his shoulder surgery and how they share the same physician, it was a great way to feel so invited. Whatever I felt was lacking in quality was MORE than made up for in service. They care about your experience and it shows. Let me explain: In general, busy breakfast places get packed up and it's always a mistake to go during a peak period as food is more rushed out.... Go early...more early, more better... This location suffers a bit from not being larger and from gauging both the reviews and the number of folks packing up to get in the door, they would benefit from a larger set up and thinking more long term.... cash flow does not seem to be a problem here. That's good and I'll get back to this with some suggestions... It's controlled chaos here but handled extremely well. Thank you for not having annoying music on top of it! Nice to talk without additional layers of stimulus...especially those that aren't essential to operations... From the moment I got my name on a list to leaving, the customer service was incredible. Even the owner/chef came out to inquire about my experience. Very rare and how many places do that? A unique opportunity to listen and tweak operations, she was very friendly and authentic. Great customer service here and making folks feel important is a lost art. That aspect helps distinguish this options. Let's get to it. Honestly, the all meat omelette I had was a little tough but NOT NEARLY as tough as I've had at other stops, including the special mixture of cement that Red Apple seems to use in their omelettes. The portion was perfect and it seemed to have a good portion of meats distributed, I ate every bit. The hash browns apparently are made from scratch here and those were not fully cooked through...I was about to leave them on the plate when the owner came and checked on me. She simply said that 'so sorry, they probably got pulled off the grill too quick. Let me get you another from the batch I have going that have been on the grill longer.' She was really open to hearing my observation on the omelette and suggested that the next time I order 'simply let us know to keep them softer for you.' How nice was that? They also set me up with another portion of gravy to dump and make things disappear within seconds. And I was faithful! The pics and the rest of the food here looks fantastic and I'll be back eating my way though the menu and getting a better feel for it all. Strangely, as the guy that ALWAYS has a pair of ear plugs in his pants, in his car and had protected his hearing even when running a vacuum or blender, my hearing is like an owl and I can detect things others can't... (Read: it's sensitive), despite being noisy here, the levels didn't bother me... It's just a small location and a LOT of communication is necessary to move this volume of eats in and out of the kitchen. It comes with the territory... I work well at some places like this understanding that tables need to be turned over quickly, that others are waiting and hey, I often order in a restaurant and ask for the check even before the food arrives.... Yep, my card is ready to go and as soon as the last bit of gravy is extracted from the bowl, so am I. All to cue up the next craving and eating intervals coming later... Let no process interfere with my getting in and out! :) Honestly I prefer commercial hash browns, they're already partially cooked, and the size of the shread can make them quicker to manage more uniformly. I'd save that labor required in their 'from scratch' efforts or par-boil the potatoes before putting on the grill. I know that's not practical. Also, I like a good buttery flavor and a nice golden brown on those.... tastes and those options may very. The idea of making them from scratch is ambitions, but it's a simple ingredient maybe better served by using a decent quality all ready out there. Put that prep labor in to something more noteworthy.... No need to reinvent the wheel with a more difficult version that isn't knock out fantastically different. The second batch they served was better but I'm still seeking that golden brown commercial version (strangely) that has that buttery taste that is uniform, fully cooked and golden brown....a bit slab! As I hit the restaurant and checked-in, a Yelper suggesting I do the pork verde.... 'I'll be back..." In way of encouragement to the staff here, I loved the experience and was delighted with all the caring and friendliness of the staff. Best breakfast around. My son and I are pretty picky about breakfast and Jus' Jo's knocked it out of the park. I had the chorizo omelet with biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was the best in Fresno. Sometimes chorizo can be overwhelming in eggs but Jus' Jo's made it with the perfect ratio of eggs, chorizo, and cheese. The service deserves it's own paragraph. WOW! My coffee cup was never empty, never had to ask for more water or juice and so polite. Turkey ham omelette with avocado was tasty! Pancakes were soo fluffy and yummy!! Hash browns were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside (crispy style requested) perfection!!! My first time here. The place is very clean . The chili verde burrito was good, the cinnamon rolls are amazing. But the highlight of this visit were the people who work here. I decided to get the Fresno State Sausage and eggs (jalapeño) with biscuits and gravy. They didn't have their famous cinnamon roll French toast. Service and food were good. I had a regular omelet nothing fancy bacon jack cheese and a cup of coffee $30 with a $4 tip! So, I have just had my mind blown. So I am a regular patron of Jus' Jo's and have never had a negative experience there. Having said that, my mother and girlfriend decided to go get breakfast this morning, arrivedat Jus Jo's about 9:15 and we're promptly seated. They placed their order and enjoyed the meal, until, after their meal they were enjoying some casual conversation over some coffee and about 1030, an individual approached their table and stated that there was a wait list and asked them to leave. My girlfriend and mother both looked around and noticed there were available tables, and nobody standing in the door or waiting outside for a seating. This strikes me as very odd and in the least very rude. They weren't waited on in a timely manner, the food was good but they were only approached once while eating and then over coffee and a talk, they were kicked out. My gf (50yrs old) and mother (72 yrs old) kicked out after a good meal with not great service, with the proclamation of there being a waiting list and nobody waiting. Well looks like they nor I will be visiting Jus Jo's in the future. I'd be more comfortable knowing I can enjoy my meal and conversation without being rush out the door for no apparent reason. read more

So this it what i had for my jus ok lunch. 3/5 strawberry lemonade it's better than Del Tacos but can't beat Westwood BBQ. 3/5 ice coffee with whip cream basically it tasted like international delight from the store and just added whip cream to it. 3.5/5 basically your regular but bigger crinkle cut fries and I gave a .50 for having Heinz ketchep. 3/5 the cody breakfast more like the brody breakfast LMAO bro where's my thick cut of bacon i've seen in the pics. Also the pancake wasnt really fluffy it's more kinda chewy. 3.5/5 Big breakfast burrito. Big is a understatement it's more like average sized but with a gourmet twist and flavor to it. Service 5/5 the helper the big Hispanic guy was really attentive getting my drinks refilled with a smile. My server the older tall woman was also attentive and friendly also but it seems she's overwhelmed and i don't see the other server to help out. The food here at JJCK is better than IHOP or Denny's but for me portions can be a bit bigger like some other places.
