Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Stopped in here for a quick bite and was in and out in 45 minutes! Quickest service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. The vibes were great, the servers were all lovely, and the food was fantastic. Juno - Top shelf margarita, veggie tacos, and Suadero tacos - Mexican Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This restaurant is super awesome for people who live in fairmount and the Spring Garden area. Juno has really great food and one of my favorite margaritas in the city. The enchiladas and guacamole are my favorite on their menu and as far as drinks I really like the blood orange margarita the last time I was there. Super great for birthdays or larger parties because the tables can be made much bigger and the space is very large read more

I love love love Juno! I went for lunch on Saturday for the 3rd time and like usual it did not disappoint. First of all I'll start with the ambiance...seating is only outside (check the weather before going) which depending on the weather can be hit or miss but Saturday was perfect! The outdoor seating provided ideal shade and a perfect warm breeze that made the experience A1. The place was not packed at all so we had a nice table with plenty of room and distance from others. Next the food...I got the Pollo a la Parilla sandwich and it was so delicious! The chicken was juicy and actually flavorful, did not rely on the aoli sauce for flavor but that did make it 10/10. I was too hungry and it looked too delicious to take a picture. And the FRIES, no one does fries like Juno. Flawlessly crispy on the outside with no excess grease, and perfectly seasoned. My meal was not too expensive specially for the sandwich having avocado on it which most places over-charge for. I also very much enjoyed my drink, Deep Purple (its alcohol so naturally its pricy), it was refreshing and not overly sweet. My friends also enjoyed their food giving extra praise to the Torta De Pastor Sandwich for being SO big yet cheap and the chorizo empanadas which looked so good and my friend hyped up so much that I was tempted to try (but did not can't eat pork)! And lastly the service...our server was very kind, helpful, and fast! I went during a pretty slow time but either way she was quick to get our orders in but did not make us feel rushed at all. We gave her a generous tip for her excellent service! Food came out fast, fresh, and hot! We tried to reserve before going but on Resy they did not have any opening but we decided to just do a walk in a found seating right away! My friends and I have zero complaints. Final comment: Juno - quality AND aesthetically pleasing which is hard to come by! read more

This little gem of a spot was so cute. It's tucked away on Spring Garden with an adorable deck and interior. They had a DJ playing music on the patio. Their margaritas are refreshing, and I enjoyed both the scallop ceviche and tacos. I'd definitely return again in the future. read more

The vibes here are immaculate! Fully outdoor setting which was INCREDIBLE since the weather held up for my group the night we went. I feel as though for some of the prices, the portion sizes were a bit small, which is my only real "complaint" (I don't have any, everything was great!). The food was delicious and the chips & guac were some of the BEST I have ever had. Great spot to come with friends for a chill night out. Note: reservations are required at this time & you must be 21 years old to go, unless you have a parent or guardian with you. read more

I ordered the Chorizo Con Papas Tacos and they were solid Texmex tacos. The tacos had a lot of filling in it and the portion was good. However the flavoring is just okay. The chorizo seemed like it was only seasoned with salt. It was still really good to eat! The environment is Instagram worthy and the drinks are strong. I want to like this place, I really do. The atmosphere is really pretty, the food and drinks are great and it's a good price point during these times of inflation however, the service needs some work. I've come here three times and each time the service throws off our whole experience. The first time my waitress forgot my entree order and we didn't see her until 20+ minutes later so that I was able to let her know. The second time we went for Happy Hour and it took at least 30 minutes just to get our first drink because again, our waitress was nowhere to be found. This third time, we had a waiter tell us we could not get a margarita pitcher unless there were 3 guests at a table which if that's the rule here, fine. However, two guests seated next to us had a pitcher. When I asked why they were allowed to have one his response was that it must have happened by mistake and that he would let management know. He then too disappeared for a while and then we got a new waiter who said our current waiter was ending his shift and he would take over. When I asked if he knew what was going on with our drink order that we had placed with our first waiter he said he did not. We eventually got our check after also having to ask another waiter for it since our current waiter was working at the bar now only for the check to come back incorrect with two extra drinks that we did not order. At this point, I was completely over it all. It honestly may be a while before I return if at all. BTW, no the place was not packed on either of these occasions in case you were wondering. read more

We had a lovely dinner at Juno tonight! The atmosphere was really welcoming and bright and it felt nice to sit outside and eat. Everyone was wearing masks and the tables were distanced from one another. The waitress also went over the restaurant's safety protocols when we were first seated. The food was excellent. We had nachos and added chorizo on top. My boyfriend and I wanted to split tacos and we ordered three orders. The tacos were small but after the nachos we had to take a whole order home. The asada and carnitas tacos were great and we took the chicken tinga tacos home. I was very excited to see that they had frozen drinks but my froze was on the strong and sour side. It was still good but not necessarily as sweet as I thought it would be. All in all, it was a great meal and I definitely plan on coming back! read more

I recently stopped in for a drink on the way home, and was seated at the bar and given a food menu. The bartender (a green haired white woman) repeatedly refused to acknowledge requests for a drink menu, serving, seating, and taking orders from multiple other parties at the bar. She seemed busy so I just watched for a bit, even though all I wanted was a drink menu. (She offered others drink and food menus as I watched her) When I finally got her attention by saying "hello," she told me to "go home if I don't like the service here." I told her I just wanted a drink menu, and she aggressively told me I tried to order before the others who came before me did (I did not), and refused to let me finish a single sentence. I was stunned. Only then she grabbed a drink menu and said "you happy now?" To which I said NO, I don't want it. I'm done. I know very well how crazy the service industry can be. But this is absolutely inexcusable behavior. Such animosity wasn't called for, especially because I HADN'T been hollering for the bartender's attention. I told the front of house staff that I was refused service, the guy listened to me and apologized and offered a table. I was already very upset though, and the terrible bartender just kept going about her business as if nothing happened. I just went home. Is it because I'm Asian or because I looked like crap at the time? Whatever it is, it certainly is not my problem. read more

The vibes and atmosphere in this place are AWESOME. We did have to make a reservation about a week in advance for a Monday evening because it had just opened and was pretty crowded. The carne asada tacos were delicious, but the portion wasn't huge. We went for dinner, and most of the main dishes weren't very filling. I would definitely come again and probably order one of the sandwiches! I've heard good things and they are bigger portions. This is a great spot for a summer outdoor dining place. I would definitely come here again. read more

I went to Juno recently for a friends birthday. It was really just okay. The tacos and guac were decent, but nothing to write home about. I didn't love the atmosphere either. To be honest, it looks much cuter online. Overall, I had a good time but likely won't be going back. read more

I had the birria tacos, they are amazing! The staff should be referred to as the moron bros. Twins who literally know nothing about the menu. I'm shocked, literally shocked at how dumb people have become. The chef is a wiz, the bartenders are sooooooo dumb read more

We were seated really quickly. The space is cute and it can accommodate many guests, which is great during this time. I had the shrimp tacos with the mango sauce was pretty good. The nachos were also pretty good. The service was great, the waitress was very attentive. There is music playing and the ambience is chill. Although, I liked the food it did not give me that I have to come back here and eat this again feeling. I still do recommend this restaurant because you may have a different experience. read more

This new gem is tucked away in spring garden. We came here the first weekend they opened and I was thoroughly surprised at how well they operated. The service was excellent and our food came out so quickly! They currently have a rule that parties of 2 may only dine for 90 minutes - that was plenty of time of us! We ordered a spicy jalapeño margarita on the rocks and it was delicious! Perfect for the hot summer day. The food was good, nothing spectacular. I ordered the verdura tacos and nachos to share. Both were above average but nothing spectacular. My fiancé really loved the pollo a la Parilla sandwich! Overall, we loved the ambiance of this location. The garden is beautiful and we felt completely safe dining here. They take the covid restrictions seriously and we loved that! One major downside, they are not dog friendly :( read more

I've been to Juno before because it's in my neighborhood. There were lots of reservations online so we stopped in. It was busy and the hostess said there were no tables. So we made a reservation and came back and then we were told no tables and it's dependent on how long other people take to eat. We asked for a time estimate but there wasn't any which I get because you can't estimate how long people are going to eat, but then don't have the reservation system open. The food in the past is ok, if you are looking for Mex in that neighborhood try La Chinesca it's across the street. They didn't have reservations open but at least it was an accurate reflection. read more

Visited the spot this past weekend during my mini getaway. We made reservations for brunch right at opening time. We were seated immediately and greeted by our waiter right after. Okay so I've been to Juno three times now. And I won't be back. The food is mediocre at best, service super slow. They were definitely short staffed and our poor waitress was working as hard as she could but needed back up. First We ordered drinks (watered down margs and super sugary frozen paloma) that didn't come until after our dessert even though we ordered these first. My tacos came out first and were totally cold, salty and lacked flavor. Then our dessert came out. We finished these and our appetizer then came out followed by my partners fajitas. Maybe things will change when they are fully staffed. But the guac was just okay, the shrimp was rubbery and overcooked, taco salad was terrible and veggie tacos lacked any flavor. The only real reason to go there is the outside patio and the plantains. read more

Service was good and nice outdoor vibe but the tacos were really unimpressive. A mix of bland and unpleasant flavors for both the carne asada and fish tacos I tried. The steak tasted like it's marinated in vegetable stock, and also under salted. read more

Went to Juno for Cinco de Mayo. The vibe was super beat, no music playing, margaritas came AFTER we were finished eating. We were served the wrong empanadas, carnitas quesadillas were wack with watery, bland meat, and I could make tastier guac at home. Great server though! We won't be coming back. read more

What an oasis in the middle of a pandemic. As soon as you walk in you shift into a feel-good mood, accompanied by great music. The food - AMAZING. The Elderflower and Summertime cocktails were my favs. I high recommend going with a few people so you try multiple items on the menu. When they say Outdoor Dining, they MEAN Outdoor Dining! No roof whatsoever! So not the best choice for a rainy day.... Thankfully the weather held off to enjoy the fabulous cocktails and very tasty entrees. The empanadas were solid - not the best I've had, but definitely tasty. The tacos were perfect -great mix of flavors - not too spicy but definitely filled with loads of flavor. Service was spectacular - super friendly, gave us great recommendations for drinks and meals and desserts. The churros were a perfect finish. One of the greatest vibes in the city --an outdoor bar with great food and a nice vibe. Wonderfully decorated. Wouldn't know you're in the city. Definitely a "get-again." So, I wandered into this place even after hearing about the brunch tax. Fine; a not great Mexican place needs to stand out in a sea of not great Mexican places somehow (c'mon Philly! Get your Mexican game together). I guess they decided that adding a fraudulent tax would be their gimmick. Like most Mexican restaurants in Philly, the people who do the cooking here have no idea what they are doing. The food here is boring, bland, and catering people who have never had decent, not even good but decent, Mexican food. The prices, however, are quite reasonable compared to other places, which may explain the brunch tax. The only exception are the sopes and churros, both of which are stupidly overpriced, although not the worst I've seen. For reference, I used to get sopes for a buck a piece at any number of the excellent Mexican restaurants in Queens, and churros were 50 to 75 cents each. I think making cheap food expensive is a Philly thing (8 bucks for an egg and cheese sandwich at a deli? What is that!). But I digress, both the sopes and churros were far too oily. The carnitas tacos were oddly tough, in addition to bland, so they were not pleasant to eat. I tried my wife's enchiladas because she was laughing while she was eating them. They aren't even worth commenting on. read more

We were shocked to hear that Juno would not accept two forms of ID, including a passport, from the student exchange student athlete from Finland that is staying with us. He is 21 years old and his classmates were taking him out to celebrate before he went home. Unfortunately, Juno staff would not accept his IDs and the entire party was forced to leave. Finally got to try Juno for brunch, and I was not disappointed! For $20.22 you can have bottomless tacos, nachos, margaritas and Tecate beers. I can't think of a better deal in the city! The tacos include chicken tinga, carnitas (my personal favorite) and huevos if you really want a brunchy egg feel. Nachos are without meat but totally not needed. We left absolutely stuffed! Service was quick and attentive. The outdoor seating is nice and pleasantly warm, I was surprised and thought I would need a jacket! Will def be back for dinner. read more

If I could marry a restaurant, it would be this one. I found this gem after coming here for a date - dropped the boy but kept the restaurant. Hands down my favorite spot for happy hour and bottomless brunch - especially on a student budget $5 drinks and food plates or $20 bottomless brunch is a steal. Perfect place to go for any occasion! Not ready to admit summer is over? Juno is the answer! They've started to transition some of their decor and cocktails to welcome a fall-feeling, but the overall vibe is the perfect outdoor summer bar. The flavors of the Elder Cider were perfect for the transition into fall - warm spices reminiscent of this time of year and a floral note, so you don't cave to the fall flavors too quickly! Nachos are my guilty pleasure and there are 3 things that I look for in good nachos - thick, crispy chips that don't get overly soggy, good distribution of toppings, and flavor - these nachos hit all the marks! The only thing that would have made them better would be a drizzle of cheese sauce, because I admittedly like both melted cheese and cheese sauce on my nachos. The pork carnitas tacos were juicy and they did not skimp on the filling. Only downside is a single layer of the tortillas, which can lead to tacos that fall apart easily. While we enjoyed our time overall, at 6pm on a Thursday, they did have 2 kicked kegs from the short draft list offered, which was a little frustrating for the beer drinkers in our group. Pro tips: reservations are highly recommended - don't be late! You'll get a $10 fee tacked onto your resy. Have a crew of 4+? The Beerbarrow is the perfect solution to quench your thirst - 12 Miller High Life's and a bottle of infused tequila will be rolled out to your table. For $60 - this seems worth it, as drinks can add up quickly! read more

This place is very cute and cozy, tucked in the Spring Garden corridor. My friend and I ordered nachos, which were not bad, but not note-worthy either. Our server seemed a little absent minded- she failed to mention that some of the margarita flavors were more expensive so I was confused by my very large drink. My friend also asked for a modification on his order, which was not how the food ended up when it came out. It was a generally lukewarm experience. read more

We came for Valentine's Day dinner and were able to get a reservation for one of the mini greenhouses. I was extremely excited! There was a space heater in the greenhouse but it was still fairly cold and I had to put my jacket back on while we ate. The food was yummy but overpriced in my opinion. I got a blood orange margarita that was tasty and ended the meal with a Mexican hot chocolate to go. I'm a vegetarian and ordered the nachos as well as a salad. They were both very good! I felt they had multiple options for me to choose from as a vegetarian. Hubby got chips and a salsa trio and wasn't a fan of the green salsa. It had a very earthy "green" taste. He did love his chicken tacos and they were able to give him a virgin Mexican hot chocolate to go! Would come again but definitely in the warmer months to be safe read more

Terrible experience... I do not usually write bad reviews, but this was especially awful. The service was terrible - very rude waitress (on top of the bad service, they mandated a 20% gratuity) Not well catered to vegetarians at all... the vegetarian black beans have pork in them (which is not at all clear from the menu).
