I have used Junk King three times to declutter my house and they have been amazing. I did not use their helper service, electing to load the dumpster myself. However, you can't beat the price! Delivery and pick up was always on time and communication was excellent. I have recommended Junk King to several friends looking to do the same. read more

Junk King Reps. (Mr. Andre and Mr. Justin) are cordial and professional. They arrive on time, eyeball what you need hauled away, give you a reasonable price and get the job done satisfactorily. Much appreciated. Thank you! read more

I have now used Junk King twice in the last several years, with my most recent use last week. I want to recommend Alex King and his company without reservation. They were quick, left everything clean and organized, and worked quickly. Great job and great company. read more

Junk King was very responsive in communicating with me. The two gentleman who came to remove our junk were very professional and did a wonderful job removing our large/heavy item. They have very competitive pricing too. I would definitely recommend Junk King for your junk removal needs. read more

I highly recommend Junk King (Fairfax) for your junk removal job. A crew of three (Marcus and two others) showed up to our home to remove 8 large, heavy, bulky items from our basement. To complicate matters the only access to and from the basement is our "kickback"/"switchback" stairwell. These are the stairs that go up 6/7 steps, come to a landing, switch direction, and then go up an additional 6/7 steps. In less than 90 minutes all 8 items were out of our basement and loaded onto their truck. Junk King got us out of quite a bind as just the morning before, the original company we had contracted with (local junk removal company here in Purcellville, VA) sent out a crew of two who left without taking out a single item. We were quite irate with the lack of competence and preparedness of this original company. I had even done my due diligence and had the President/owner of the original company come out to see the scope of the job first hand earlier this month. The owner assured us it was a job they would be able to do. Unfortunately within less than a minute of the two man crew (from the original company) arriving and seeing the items and stairwell, the Crew Leader commented on the bulk and heft of the items. Upon ME suggesting some pieces may require being taken apart, dismantled or even destroyed the crew lead responded by informing me he did not have tools on the truck to do the job. The two man crew left without a single attempt of removing anything. The Junk King crew informed me of their ETA on our scheduled day and communicated throughout their travel to our location to let us know they were delayed. Once the three man crew arrived, each introduced himself to me and we quickly went to the basement to asses the job. They provided me the quote, I accepted the quote, and they immediately got to work. Junk King was able to remove all items, some requiring a minimal amount of dismantling with tools THEY brought (nothing more needed than their own two hands, wrenches, and screwdrivers). Within 90 minutes of them pulling into our driveway our items were up, out of our house, loaded onto their truck, and they were pulling out of our driveway with a job exceptionally well done. Not once did they utter any doubt that any of the items would be unable to be removed. I was so impressed with their level of communication with each other throughout the process. They were, hard working, up beat and positive during their time here. Junk King is a 5 out of 5 for us. We try to support local but this time got burned. So thankful for Junk King. For reference they removed the corner piece and main section of our sectional sofa (that main piece alone sat no less than three people-it was big), pool table, exercise bike, ping pong table, foosball table, rocker recliner and old version very heavy and bulky big screen TV (thank goodness they don't make them like that anymore). The Junk King crew managed all of them through and out of our ominous "kickback"/"switchback" staircase. They even brought the TV up INTACT. True professionals!! read more

Amazing service!! Guys came out on time. The estimate online was the same amount I paid. I needed a full truck, as expected. The two gentlemen were awesome. They took care of the inside items first so they would not track in dirt from outside. I had a lot of heavy stuff. They were careful not to scratch walls and made sure I inspected that all items were taken away that we had discussed before I paid. The guys took: an oversize couch, love seat, and chair set, 2 recliners, a HUGE old large screen tv, large old box tv, twin mattress, box spring, frame, barbed wire, a table, metal debris, old generator, various yard items, miscellaneous trash. I was worried it wouldn't all fit but their trucks are bigger than the other companies I used so it was not a problem. I would highly recommend this company! I've used two others in the past and these guys have the best customer service and value by far. read more

Junk King Fairfax - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Lorton, Virginia

We needed to get rid of an old mattress. I used the message system through Yelp to book them. They responded immediately and set up everything thru the message system - was quick and easy. I loved not having to call. They were the cheapest quote. They had appointment right away and came when they said they would. Overall, the entire process could not have gone more smoothly. read more

Miscommunication led to rude, unprofessional threats. I wasn't rude, only naive. Business owners who respond to a request to come to a new agreement with threats of lawsuits and bullying are to be avoided. read more

Definitely worth using again. The guys from Junk King came by this morning and assessed the items I needed to be removed. Once we agreed on the price, they moved into action quickly and efficient. The guys didn't mind taking some extra items I wanted removed at the last minute. The guys carried themselves in a friendly professional manner. read more

Very professional they came and took everything we pointed out, disassembled things like treadmills and closets. Great team work. Price was fair. We were very impressed and highly recommend. read more

I highly recommend. I sent an email to get an estimate and potentially book an appointment at 10pm the night before. At 9:05am the next morning I had a call to provide an estimate and was able to confirm an appointment for 4-6pm same day. The office person was helpful but couldn't 100% confirm the estimate and said they normally do in person, but if I wanted, she would have the driver call me and give me a better idea. One of the workers (Julian) called less than 10 minutes later and provided me with a estimate. He also asked, since I was home, if I wanted them to come earlier, or did I want the original time. I took earlier. Antoine (I believe) and Julian called 15 minutes before arriving (as promised), came right in and got to work removing my sofa sleeper, some old computers and an old mirror. The estimate was the lower one. They also gave me a coupon should I want to use their services in the future. It was all done in less than 20 minutes, and I could pay by credit card via a cc machine versus handing over lots of information (if that matters to you), or I could have paid by cash or check. I am so glad I found these guys online last night. Just as the other reviewer noted, they were honest and super polite (kept calling me Ms. and my last name, introduced themselves, shook my hand, etc.). The fact they are green does matter to me and helped in my choice. The guys were also funny - which says a lot considering it was hot and muggy. Thanks Antoine and Julian and Junk King. You saved my time and my back and honestly didn't cost a lot (I was looking for cheap). read more

I hired Junk King for a recent junk removal job. I was quoted a price for a full truck and agreed to the price. About 2/3 of the way through the job, they told me that they couldn't get everything in one trip and that they would return for the remainder in a few days. The truck was not full when they left. When they returned for the remainder of the junk, I was contacted to pay for another 1/2 truck. After I complained, they reduced the price for 1/3 of a truck. At no time during the initial job did the Junk King rep mention that there would be an additional charge for returning to pick up the materials that I had already paid them to remove. I had previously used Junk King and was previously happy with their service. I will not use them again. If you are considering using them, make absolutely sure that they take everything that they quoted in the price estimate. Under no circumstances should you agree to have them come back at a later time without a written agreement that you have already paid for all services. read more

I highly recommend these guys -- honest, respectful, and GREEN! :-) They were on time. They were professional. They were considerate. They honored my estimate and did not try to add on costs once on the site. They are local guys and spoke English. They asked questions. It was as if they understood customer service and wanted return business. They told me they have the "greenest" recycling policy in the area for junk removal. That matters to me -- although I must admit, I don't really know what it is they do with that stuff -- but the more of it that gets recycled, the better I like it! read more

These guys were great to work with! Very friendly, on time, and the quote I received up front is what I paid - no hidden fees. They also worked quickly; they removed my king size bed and frame and took my payment in under 10 minutes. I appreciated that they were able to easily accept debit/credit cards as a form of payment and text me my receipt. Based on other quotes I received within the area I definitely believe that this was the best value. Highly recommend! read more

Very nice guys and super prompt. They definitely know what they're doing! They call you 30 minutes before arriving and once arriving, they scope out the area and then ask what is going to be taken. Keep in mind that the estimate can't be done until they look at what they're taking. I moved a couch, which was the base cost at $118. Been trying to get rid of it and Junk King was fast and easy to use. Scheduled an appt online and then bam! the next day they came. read more

My husband is skeptical junk removal companies and he's very hesitant to allow people on his lawn He continues to rave about Junk King even though its been several weeks since we used them. The guys were prompt, respectful of the lawn and plantings and very careful as they removed a freezer. Sadly, they don't service where we now live because we would never call anyone else. read more

I used Junk King on two occasions. Both times they came in well under the quoted price. Service was performed well, they called in advance, and were very polite. read more

Great service! They were on time and our office had to get rid of some old backdrops in our storage area. Junk King came and removed all of the heavy backdrops. Came on time and got everything out in 30 mins. also gave use a quote right on the spot. Would use them again. Thank you. read more

Junk King came to my house and removed construction debris from a home remodel we did last summer. The crew was professional, efficient, and extremely clean. They sorted everything and loaded the truck by the type of debris. The crew stated it was done this way because they are a landfill free "GREEN" junk hauling service. Not only did they save me all weekend cleaning up but it is great to know the materials were disposed of properly to protect our planet. I highly recommend Junk King, they're a fantastic group of guys who are as responsible as they are reliable. A++++ read more

The money they want for such a few small items I was better off doing it myself and getting a U-Haul. They wanted $500 for a couch, ridiculous!! I was able to add way more items into a U-Haul and the junk yard only charged me $30!! Overall I spent $80...do it yourself and save money! read more

I had seen the good reviews ! "Reasonable pricing" but was soon disappointed by the price that came in my emails . Called them back only to result in nothing. I wish I could recommend them but sorry to say no . If your looking to get the best for your money . I would look elsewhere . False prices to convenience you only to later charge double then the price you were given . read more

When I moved from my house in Northern Virginia to out of state, I had some furniture and other junk to get rid of. I was looking for a reasonably priced business to haul away my junk. I had read Yelp reviews of how 1-800-GOT-JUNK charges high prices, which I did not want to spend. I found Junk King online and gave them a call. I was so happy that they quoted me a pretty low price. They also had an online pricing estimator, if you prefer to get a quote online. They were able to send over two guys and a truck on a date and time that we had agreed upon. The guys were nice. They loaded my junk into their truck and were out of my house in a matter of minutes. I was pleased with the service and would recommend this business to other customers who need a reasonably priced junk removal company. See their website for a full list of items that they haul away. read more

Let me tell you about this company. I don't typically have the time or care to do a review, however...could they BE more amazing? From the moment I knew I'd need a dumpster in my life, I called around. Got a lot of angry, a**hole people on the phone that gave me a run around and I found Junk King and low and beyond, they were kind and accommodating to my needs. From the call, to drop off, to pick up, seamless. Could not have been happier with a "junky, dumpy" experience. read more

We are moving and had 18 years worth of junk in our basement, including some console TVs, computers, broken furniture, etc. Junk King came in with about 7 guys and 2 dump trucks. My entire basement and part of my garage were cleaned out within 3 hours. They even swept up the basement when they were done. Their prices are fantastic, so reasonable. Their service was beyond our expectations. if you have any junk removal job, big or small, read more

Easy, fast, reliable and the best deal I got after calling around! I found myself in need of help getting rid of some large shelving units and started to research.... Pick up went just as smoothly-- call ahead, efficient, nice... and my problem is solved within hours!! What a great feeling. Highly recommend. read more

Junk King has been professional, prompt, and friendly! I have used them a couple times now, and their prices are good and the work gets done quickly and neatly. I also like that they avoid using landfills and try to hire veterans. read more

Fantastic. Showed up early and same-day, super professional, dealt with massive and disgusting couches, tables, huge TVs, etc, with ease. Excellent communication skills, acted as a great team, and were very friendly and fun. We were moving stuff out of an assisted living home and it was a total nightmare in terms of locked doors, long hallways, difficult parking...no problem for these guys! Came in under their estimate because of what I assume are mad junk Tetris skills! Would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

I would give this company six stars if there were six available. I chose this company because of all of the positive yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. I scheduled an appointment on Friday afternoon for the following Saturday morning. If you schedule the appointment online, you get a $20 discount. Like most of the other reviews said, the company tends to arrive earlier than scheduled. I received a text message asking if it was OK for them to arrive at 9:30 (the window I scheduled was 10 am to noon). I was more than happy to have them come earlier. The two employees were very courteous and very careful when removing a large old couch and arm chair from the house. Moving an 8 foot long couch is not easy, but they did it without bumping walls. We will likely use this company again. read more
