As a referral from my insurance company, they did the original estimate, inspection for mold, sprayed as a precaution, and completed the work with the repairs/reconstruction. Because I was waiting for all the insurance pieces to line up, the holes were in my ceiling much longer than I expected. But PDR was patient and Amber Yost checked on me every once in a while. Once everything was in place, the work was completed in one day - yay! The crew was efficient and quick, and there was no signs they had been there (i.e. paint splatter, etc.) They covered my home in plastic, made the repairs, and painted my entire ceiling to match. You couldn't even tell that I had previous damage. Looked brand new. I am very thankful for the repairs crew that came in - Gilbert, two workers and Keith. Thank you for the good work.

In the meantime, calls showed up on my caller ID from a Joshua Curtis. I called him back thinking I was returning a call from an acquaintance. He said he was from Paul Davis. He called a number of times thereafter, but left no messages, ever. Then I got an email, to quote: "Hello Allen, Thomas We value our relationship and service to our customers and we want to improve every day. We ask that you take just a few minutes to give us your sincere opinion about your experience with us. Sorry to hear that you didn't choose to proceed with us to perform your project! Based on your initial experience with us, how likely are you to recommend Paul Davis Restoration to a friend or colleague?" I then called Paul Davis and said I wasn't aware that I had not chosen to proceed with them. Ultimately, we set up an appointment for Friday August 8 at 9:00 AM. They showed up at 8:00 AM. I am still asleep as I have medical problems. They left phone messages saying they were there. When I returned the call shortly before 9:00 AM, I reached a voice mail. Left a message call was returned. They denied appointment was set for 9:00, saying they said between 8:00 and 9:00. I voiced my displeasure with the entire process of dealing with Paul Davis, whereupon I was told they would NOT work with me, as we were not a "good fit". The fault is entirely theirs and I told them I would give them a lousy review, Here it is. I would not recommend them and in fact would discourage anyone from using them for restoration services.

They are very secretive when it comes to pricing and will not supply us with a detailed invoice with costs. (I have been trying to figure out if I paid for a new vanity when they reused my old one) The only reason we used Paul Davis was because our insurance company recommended them. The reason I would not recommend this company is NOT because of the work that they do. They…read moreactually seem to do nice work. I would not recommend this company because they were hired to install a privacy fence and deck for my neighbor and started a huge property dispute that cost my family(& possibly the neighbors family) thousands of dollars by telling our neighbors our barn, trees, bushes and playset were on their property and they had more property than what they thought. They even stated to us that the auditors map of property lines were the "law" and correct, in which fact that is not true, as only a survey shows what is 100% accurate. There was no need for this company to start a property dispute when these items had been on the property since 1971 unless the homeowner asked this of them in which the homeowner said they never did. I am writing this review for people to be wary of what could happen to you if this company does their business at your home or your neighbors home that could possibly start a huge property dispute costing you and your family 10's of thousands of dollars in the hope that they don't cost more people thousands of dollars. If nothing was ever said(which I have no idea why they would have a need to bring this up to the neighbor/homeowner) than this terrible situation would of never happened and we all could of been going about our lives like we had been since 1971 & maybe still be friends. Again, I would not recommend this company.
