They are very secretive when it comes to pricing and will not supply us with a detailed invoice with costs. (I have been trying to figure out if I paid for a new vanity when they reused my old one) The only reason we used Paul Davis was because our insurance company recommended them. It's also funny that they are pretending the owners care because I called corporate and the owners were supposed to call us and never bothered. Basically this company avoids talking to you so they can lie about what happened. They then did damage and said things were broken before and they would send pictures to prove it. Reliable, affordable, and they never missed a pickup. Over the last year or two, things started slipping. A missed week here and there, every couple of months. Usually they'd come the next day, or I'd call or email and even if no one answered, someone would eventually come get the trash. But it kept happening more often. Then my trash started sitting out for days. Half a week. Sometimes a full week. No pickup, no response. I'd call, email, and text and hear nothing. Eventually I had to bring the trash back in myself. What really pushed it over the edge was trying to cancel service. I asked to cancel and just wanted someone to acknowledge it. No response at all. That feels really irresponsible and unprofessional, especially for customers who've been with you for years. I get that businesses grow and have issues, but basic communication matters. If there's a problem, send an email. Let people know. So they don't leave trash out all week, or have to make other arrangements if they're going out of town, or deal with extra stinky trash in the middle of summer.
