My my my what a lovely little place this is. I absolutely love this Gin bar the drinks are perfectly balanced and crafted to all taste buds. I was extremely impressed with their menu and quality of essence they brought to the menu. The person crafting the drink menu is very knowledgeable about gin and it shows. The only reason for 4 out of 5 is the place is SO SMALL. but that is downtown for you and the price was fair. I think it's priced just right. Not a downtown price but not a rinky dink price that makes you question quality. I highly recommend coming here after dinner with friends or a place to just catch up with a SMALL Group of people like literally max 5 people. read more

Cozy little spot with unique gin cocktails which were tasty for sure but the two we tried weren't extraordinary. Service was friendly but a little distracted. This is a cool new place that has 10 iron john taps. They also have wine, coffee, kombucha and cider. While I love the setup and want to see microbreweries succeed, I am not a fan of the beer. What a great brewery. The bartender was very welcoming and ready to help as soon as we walked in. They have about 10 beers on tap and with so many IPA's to choose from I had to go with the flight. The flight came with five beers at four ounces each. I loaded it up with all five IPA's. Each one was delicious hoppy and unique. Only great things to say about our experience trying out the new iron John's taproom downtown. I had only been to the plumer location once, and the beers came out of the tap a little lukewarm. That problem was completely absent here, so if that was worrying anyone to you can forget about that. In addition to the classic old Pueblo pale and rye IPA, they were serving up some delicious offerings including a red, a German wheat beer, a green corn lager, and a double IPA I wasn't adventurous enough to try. I couldn't believe how flavorful the Luna Blanca was- without a doubt one of the tastiest German wheat beers I've had. But everyone knows that this place cranks out some fine beers, what really made this experience special was the man behind the bar. Gerald took care of us- slinging the beers while sharing some history about iron John's, the new location, Tucson, and even delving into his past. Huge shout-out to Gerald for providing service that had that extra oomph in it. Looking forward to returning on my next trip out to Tucson. read more

Best beer In downtown but there are conditions that are difficult to identify for all persons. This is a Sunday afternoon in Winter before Xmas. I was only person in place. Bartender was bored (obviously) but served exactly what I requested with no comment (I would want more when no one is around regardless of mindset). All beers were great, which is not what I've encountered in Arizona. My palette is East Coast IPAs but I'll try just about all but Belgian and Wheat. These guys did right by ales and IPAs and stout. First off you need cold beer and that's what you got. You can always let warm to taste. Neither Vida nor 55 had cold beer. Give me cold to determine the right temperature to enjoy the right temperature for the beer. That's always the customers job. Music was based on bartender and I have no complaints. A single bathroom, which is fine and clean but I recommend two. Can't change here. All recommend for beer all other choices for guests. I'm not a complete beer geek but I know my malts and hops. I like what these guys are doing and want to know more than what I see on their board. read more

What a great addition to downtown. Iron John's tasting room has ~35 seats comprised of small tables and a long bar. The buildout was very nice and its a very comfortable environment. They offer bottles from the cooler, and also 4oz, 10oz and 16oz pours of ~9 beers on draft. The brewers are friendly and passionate about their product and happy to share their vast knowledge of beer to anyone who will lend an ear.
