While traveling on a lovely day to Bend, we came upon this delightful gem! I had the pulled pork plate and hubby had the chicken plate with salad and cheesy potatoes. We both had peach lemonade as well. And can I just say absolutely yummy! I am not a big meat person but the pulled pork was lean and the barbecue sauce was delicious and the salad with the sugared walnuts on it with the house dressing was to die for. Shimmy your way on over here! read more

I knew this place was legit the moment I drove up, everything is made by hand from what I can tell. Their bbq sauce was the best I've ever had and of course the tritip was very tender. Junipers was a breath of fresh air compared to the wannabe pop up bbq places that try to be open 12 hours a day 7 days a week. The crazy part is THE PRICING WAS AMAZING. Staff were nice and the ambiance was exactly what I would expect from a perfect bbq spot. read more

Wow! What a great find in Burns. We were happy to have them open on the 4th of July so we had BBQ on the holiday! Yummy pulled pork, steak tri tip and chicken. The chicken was slightly over cooked but the homemade food made up for it. All the salad dressings were homeade and the buns, too. Added fun sprinkles on the root beer. Delicious desserts like snickerdoodles and peanut butter bars. read more

Chose this place for lunch as we were passing through. In a word: delicious. You will not be coming here for the ambience. You will be coming here because you like great food. My husband's double cheeseburger was humongous. You put your own condiments on the burger. I chose the tri tip salad with a delicious raspberry vinaigrette dressing, and my sister chose the grilled chicken salad with the homemade ranch. Both meats were tender and juicy -- quite flavorful. Their sauces and dressings are available for purchase to take home. You can sit outdoors or under the the big white tent. The place was busy the entire time we were here. Obviously a favorite of the locals. My brother-in-law is a snickerdoodle connoisseur. He shared one with us. I liked the flavor and chewiness. He said he prefers his a little more moist. There are pies and other delectable bakery items. Make sure you look for the big white tent. Don't get fooled by the shed business right next-door. read more

THEE BEST tri-tip I've ever had. Their baked beans had ground beef in it and tasted like my Mama's! Never had potato-grits (what I called heir cheese potatoes) but it was good too. The dinner roll came win butter and homemade raspberry jam, and be salad had candied walnuts in it. And they had sweet tea! Got a homemade raspberry danish for dessert and rolled to my car after. Put a fork in me cause I was done! Will stop by every time I'm in the area and they're open (they close at 2pm). read more

We stopped and it was decent. The burger I got wasn't my favorite but still good. The cheesy potatoes were amazing. We will definitely come back by on our way out of town and try something different. The salad looked amazing and I didn't order one so I will try that next time. My husband got the tri tip and said it was very good. Their bbq sauce was amazing! I will update my review on our way back through, perfect spot and stop In Burns. We stopped back by the next day and my husband got breakfast and enjoyed it, I went with the tri tip salad and it was amazing. Loved the dressing, we might stop by on the way out and I will try the chicken on the salad next time and we will buy dressing and BBQ sauce to take home. So good. Stopped by again on our way back to Bend, had the salad again but with chicken and so good. We bought some salad dressing and bbq to go. Definitely a must stop if in the area. read more

This is a can't miss in Burns right off the main road. Tender and tasty brisket! Chicken and pork and bbq sauce great too. An unexpected find for us driving through during the lunch hour. We will without a doubt keep it in mind next time we are nearby! We shared a large platter so got to try all three smoked meats and had cheesy potato, coleslaw, and beans as a side. No left overs! Scrumptious find~skip the fast food and head here. Fresh ingredients~all made to order. We had burgers and the attention to detail on the condiments was impressive. Not generally want to order onions on my burger, but they come so finely sliced and fresh that I truly enjoyed them. And, silly? maybe...but I judge how a food establishment makes coleslaw. Burns,OR May 2026…read more We came on a Wednesday night and there were only three other tables that were occupied. At 6:15 all the tables are filled. The restaurant is very clean. The floors, the food, the tables, the chairs. I am very impressed. My husband and I ordered a half chicken salad to share and we also split the chicken Alfredo. The Chicken salad was large. I found it hard to believe it was only a half portion. The salad came with a very large portion of shredded torn, hot chicken. The lettuce was Romaine and it had diced tomatoes with shredded cheese slices of cucumbers, large slices of red onion, and croutons. It was supposed to come with a sliced egg, but there was none on the salad. The chicken Alfredo was a very large portion. There was more chicken on the salad then in the chicken Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce tasted smoky. I swear there was a half a pound of pasta in that dish. Like all the other portions of food it is very large. They serve fresh bread with butter to the table. The bread is delicious. The waiter said they make it here. We were offered dessert but we chose you to decline. They have a display case of three different kinds of pies, bars, chocolate cake, cheesecake, and more. My only complaint is that the booths are so far from the table. I had to eat at the end of my bench. But I love that the backs of the booths are so very tall. You can't see your neighbor behind you. I was finished eating and pushed my plate away. My husband was still eating his food. The waiter came up to see if we needed anything else. As we were talking to him, an older woman came by interrupted our conversation with the waiter and started to take all of our plates. My husband was not finished eating, but since she piled the plates on top of each other, we were now done. Perhaps in the future, she should ask if we are finished before removing them from the table. The staff is friendly. The food is ginormous and delicious. This is definitely a place if I were passing through I would stop and eat again. I give this restaurant 4.7 stars.

We were passing through town looking for a good lunch spot…read more After looking on Yelp, we found this place and hit the "directions" button. When we arrived there were no markings or signage on the exterior of the building, which made it a little hard to find or to be sure that we were in the right place. We decided to investigate anyway. Sure enough, it was there. The exterior and interior of the building were very well done. Inside was cute, clean, with a cozy atmosphere. Also, the temperature was perfect. We approached the counter where you order and briefly looked over the menus before settling on our order and putting our menus down. It was an uncomfortable 3 minutes before we were even acknowledged by the tatted gentleman behind the counter. Seemingly disinterested, he took our orders. We then found a nice table and sat down. After a reasonable amount of time our food was brought out. The Philly and chips (according to my companion) were great. The Mediterranean salad (according to my companion) was greatly overdressed, but other than that was crisp and fresh. My Korean wrap was good, however it was light on meat and packed full of rice, which I don't care for. Also rice was not mentioned in the ingredients list on the menu. If it were, I would have not ordered that item. In addition to that, the wrap was saturated with creamy siracha sauce. Which was a shame because other than that, the mentioned ingredients seemed to have good flavor potential. We ate our meals, and before leaving I stacked our plates and tiddied up our table. A female employee noticed this and made a kind remark, thanking me for doing this. It was a pleasant exchange and I was appreciative to have her positivity before we left. I wanted to love this place. and I think with a few tweaks, this place could really rock it.
