This was the perfect stop for lunch driving through town. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and they had gluten free! I had a gluten free turkey avocado with no cream cheese. My kids each had a sandwich and one had clam chowder soup. It came with a bag of chips and some veggies. Service was quick and efficient. We all enjoyed it and were very satisfied. read more

How lucky to end up here with homemade buns for lunch and then homemade desserts, especially the pies!! Dutch apple pie à la mode is ooh la la deliciously the best! Such welcoming and friendly staff. So grateful for this gem of a place! read more

We walked into this busy establishment that i chose because they advertise gluten free sandwich options. Notably, there is no indication on the menu of what the added cost would be. I of course expected an added charge of $1.50 to $3 or so for a gf bread option, no problem! I genuinely thought there was an error when they charged me $22 for my $15 club sandwich with a side of ranch. When I inquired with the very sweet cashier about a possible error because I thought there was a mistake and was so confused, the clearly already agitated and distressed owner took over and angrily told me that was the cost. I quickly handed over my credit card and tried to explain that I was just confused and thought there was an error but she just ignored me and walked away... but then turned around to tell the whole place how much extra time and work it is to prep something for people with celiac/ who are gf and that it takes much longer. I quietly went to my table to wait for the sandwich with my friend and her children. Shortly thereafter, the owner all but threw me $22 cash and said she would not be making the sandwich and walked away, again not allowing for any conversation. Subsequently, my friend had to cancel her order and we left. Fortunately, we found another place that was very welcoming and a much better vibe all the way around with good food. Needless to say, I don't recommend this place unless you want to pay a lot of money for a GF sandwich along with the fear of illiciting the wrath or agitation of an owner who is clearly not nice when busy or stressed, especially if you unfortunately are burdened with something like celiac disease. read more

What a wonderful surprise this place is. On a snowy windy late afternoon I rolled through town and saw their sign advertising soup. The soup of the day was corn chowder, and it was absolutely delicious. I had a bowl of it with a half of a chicken salad sandwich with fresh lettuce and tomato slice on a fresh slice of 5 seen bread that was also 100% spot on. The only thing better than this cute old school highway restaurant and the yummy homemade food was absolutely charming and fun young lady behind the counter who was cooking and serving. We shared smiles, stories and laughs as she brought me this massive bowl of chowder and "just right" sandwich. Looking forward to stopping back there the next time I'm driving through town. Also, you must try the homemade pies! I grabbed a slice of blueberry to go and was super glad I did. read more

I got a turkey sandwich with fresh crisp lettuce, and great 12 seed bread and my friend got the Reuben. It was absolutely delicious. Food: delicious! We shared the turkey gobbler - so good! Ambience: casual Service: wonderful friendly server. Turns out they charge an extra $4 if you share a sandwich which is for the extra side, which we told the server we didn't want. We should have been told there was a $4 up charge to share. Would have avoided unhappy check out. BTW the sandwich was $14. read more

We stopped here because it had the best reviews for lunch, and we were so delighted with the choice. The owner and servers were so thoughtful when we mentioned that our son has a mast cell disorder that gave him several food sensitivities. This is actually the only place I've ever gone that offered FURTHER accommodation after I told them what we needed. The owner is knowledgeable about everything she uses, and really pushing for clean, whole foods. Can't recommend it enough. read more

We stopped in for breakfast and both had the breakfast sandwich. The buns were homemade, there was lots of egg (cooked just right. I admit to being a bit fussy about my eggs) and bacon and, well... they were excellent. We also split a cinnamon roll and it was darned tasty! A great place to eat! read more

Broadway Deli - a table with a sandwich and a drink - Delis Near Me - Burns, Oregon

We were passing thru town and were ready for lunch. We saw the great reviews so we decided to try it. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My hubby and I decided to split a sandwich after reading that the portions were large and the prices ranged from 12-15 dollars for a sandwich so we took that as an indication that the sandwich was large. However, the chicken salad sandwich on wheat was not the portion that we expected for $12. We did not see on the menu any mention of a fee to split a meal nor did the server mention it so we were surprised when a $3 fee was added to the price. While we each had our own side (a small bag of chips each) we felt the $3 charge was excessive and unnecessary. It's always a good practice to tell your costumers upfront of additional fees, it saves some heartburn in end. The food was tasty and service was good but it was too pricey. read more

We stopped for lunch while driving across Oregon. It was a little hard to see as there was a van blocking the sidewalk sign but we are glad we circled back The restaurant is small and clean with an impressive dessert display. The sandwiches were delicious. I had the turkey avocado and my husband had the club. The carrot cake and rhubarb pie were wonderful. There is a small shop next door and they had clothing and artwork displayed for sale as well as a small play area for kids. The ladies were super friendly and the restroom was clean read more

We normally pass thru with out paying too much attention, this place has the best pastrami, chees melts in your mouth, and the location is awesome the bread I believe from what the waitress was telling me is freshly baked very day. I will be back with my team members at work during ouf future lunch breaks and team meetings. They do handle big crowds with quick service, especially when you are on the clock or have to attend zoom meetings. a+ during covid, extra clean bathrooms read more
