Friday night in Burns, Oregon! So happy we came across this charming spot... they made specialty tacos with hand-made corn tortillas that were amazing! We had Chicken Mojito and Southwest Steak. I really wanted this place to be better than it was. It has such potential! A great location. The warehouse style is cool and shabby sheik. The tacos were really good. The cook was friendly. The man who served us the beer was cranky and not really into hosting us. And the beer was meh. Nothing special and not cold enough. The outdoor area looks fun. Seems like a great place to meet a bunch of friends for beers and cornhole. IF the beer was good. I'm hoping this changes. It would be so great to have a kick ass brewery in Burns! read more

I was so excited to check this place out; I love supporting small breweries. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the quality of the beer. I got four different types (all to go - they are able to can beers on tap for you to go, which is nice). Two were meh and two were almost not drinkable. They do have a really nice outdoor space next to the brewery with grass and some tables which seemed like a nice place to relax. read more

Ate at Steens Brewery tonight a start up with a limited menu of food and beer. Great location with great outdoor seating (only). The baby back ribs and brisket were very good, the veggie burger just ok, the Cole slaw was very different ( chunky) but very good. The beer selection was limited, the IPA was very good pale ale ok ( not real cold ) but not a problem for us. The service was grand quick. Good stop for food and drink in Burns. Short hours 3-7, hopefully will do more soon read more

A good place to grab some tasty beers. Spending the night in Burns, I walked in to grab a quick beer. I ended up chatting it up with the owner he is behind the taps and some other patrons. Ended up having three beers: porter, pale ale and IPA. All three were well balanced and smooth. The food selection is limited; however, what is offered mainly tacos, flatbreads, pretzel and salami is very good! The owner is from New England originally and he brings that attitude into the public house, but I recommend you sit down, have him pour you a beer, talk about some good rock n roll, travel or sports ... and enjoy! read more

Andrew, the brewer and owner, was great. I messaged him about opening a little early because we were driving through back to Boise and we really like to try new breweries. He said yes and so glad he did. Although he only had three beers on tap because they are small and brew weekly, the Belgian cherry beer was awesome!! Would have taken some with us but blew the keg - definitely will stop again next time through Burns. read more

Very tasty food and super friendly people, not to mention great beer! Local gem. Definitely makes it worth staying in this town overnight

The street tacos of the day were amazing, everything is fresh and made from scratch. They had an excellent selection of beers, something for everyone and a handful of non alcoholic beverages! Atmosphere was nice with the garage door opened into a very cute patio area! Keep it up guys! read more
