Simply one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Huevos Benedicto... a play on the classic but spicy & full of flavor. Just the right amount of heat but not overpowering. The red sauce is thick and chunky and the chorizo is great. I will make this a regular visit for breakfast. Great service, great cook, small & quaint but not crowded. All good.

Small restaurant but they turn tables quick! We got there at 10:30am on a Saturday and were worried when we saw a wait but only ended up having to wait about 15 minutes. Once we were seated, service was quick and efficient and the food was yummy! The breakfast sandwich was a classic and the menu doesn't lie when it lists a jumbo caramel roll - it truly was the largest one I've ever had!

Went to Junior's on a whim. I have had their breakfast burritos brought in to work before and they were great. Nice little cozy diner with the counter bar and some tables. I sat up at the counter and was immediately greeted and ask what I would like to drink. I got coffee and the guy behind the counter gave me a menu and said any questions let me know. There were a few regulars in as he was talking with them. I ordered the Junior's breakfast and a side of bacon. This place reminded me of the old school diner in that you could see the griddle and watch them cook it up. It came nice and hot with a little extra cheese. When I got done i was more than happy and very full. If you are ever i. The area give them a try.

Great Diner, well cooked food served quickly. I asked for crispy hash browns and got pretty near perfect crispy hash browns, not burned, well browned cooked extremely well.. just bout perfection I would say.. had the ham and 2 over easy eggs, with wheat toast all cooked well. Sit at the counter and watch the action.

    Excellent liver and onion plate!

Great food and great service, only wish they served Coca Cola products. I will be coming back again.

Great little diner. I was here last week with a coworker and somehow left my wallet and phone. They closed early so I was there the next morning. Everything was cool and the owner gave me a hug! The food was hot fresh and tasty. Last week the Spanish omelet, had a little kick to it. Today the Everything omelet. Again very good food and great service too.

The interior is modern and inviting, with some fun wallpaper making a statement. We cozied up to the bar during this visit. I will say that bar was a bit sloppy during our visit...bartenders' water bottles cluttering the visible space, bartenders spilling our drinks a bit during delivery, and weird transitions of staff that were a bit distracting. The Espresso Martini was the best item I ordered! Well balanced and the addition of the cold foam really made for an enjoyable sip. Would absolutely return for that one! The bites we ordered had great flavor, but some fell a bit flat when trying to live up to their creative ideas. The Fried Pickles were the best food item: perfectly crispy medallions with two delicious dipping sauces. The "burnt ends" cauliflower are really just roasted cauliflower with BBQ sauce on top, missing out on the umami juiciness of their namesake. The Chips that came with the Dip were just ruffled potato chips, not housemade or interesting. Solid spot for happy hour if you're looking in the area!

Very reasonable for the quality and vibe. We ordered the cauliflower burnt ends, fried pickles, and chips & dip. Everything came out flavorful and fresh. The cauliflower especially was a standout -- seasoned well with that perfect texture. The staff was helpful and very informative, which I always appreciate when trying a spot for the first time. The atmosphere gives after-work energy -- a place where you can unwind with coworkers or commune with family and friends. And the background tunes were on point. Happy Hour is getting a 4.5/5 from me. I'll definitely be back to keep this series going.

I received an extremely greasy chili dog (the bottom of the bun was stained orange as if it was literally just sitting in grease, I had to tear the entire bottoms off. The chili was COMPLETELY flavorless with a non meat like chew, thats really as far as I can explain that one. It was like there, but tasted and disintegrated as if it wasn't. As well as, everything generally just came out as if it had been sitting around, it was cold and a bit stale. I also ordered a "THE FARMER" from their breakfast menu, and though this was better and a little fresher, the potatoes were still cold and mostly uneatable. So, inna nutshell I haven't tried everything, but this isn't the first time a meal I've had from there came out subpar. Price to quality food ratio id have to rate it like a 2-3, the hotdog was 8 dollars and "the farmer" was around 13-14. With that in mind, to have points where I am genuinely STRUGGLING through my meal is crazy. I would have to rate my overall experience between a 3 - 4 outta 10. If you don't mind a cool store and a gamble check it out !

The restaurant has a bar-and-grill atmosphere, which makes sense given the brewery focus. It felt lively but still comfortable for a holiday dinner, and the menu offered several appealing choices both for the special and on the regular menu. We started with shrimp, which was cooked properly and had a good texture--firm and enjoyable without any rubbery or off-putting qualities. The French onion soup was a comforting course and fit the meal well. For the main, I ordered the burger, which was solid and satisfying. While not flashy, it was well prepared and enjoyable. A standout side was the sweet potato fries, which were exceptionally crisp with just the right amount of salt--easily some of the best I've had in a while. The dessert rounded out the meal nicely and completed the four-course experience. Nothing during the meal disappointed me; everything we had was good and well executed. Service was pleasant and professional. Our server was friendly and attentive, though the kitchen timing was a bit slow. We did notice that a few tables seated after us received their food sooner, but it wasn't enough to detract significantly from the overall experience. At $69 for a four-course Valentine's Day meal, the special felt like a good deal, offering variety and solid quality without feeling overpriced. Overall, Granite City delivered a comfortable, enjoyable holiday dinner with reliable food and good value.

Solid start. Then came my entrée, the Mediterranean chicken. And let me tell you... those tomatoes were not behaving. They tasted like they took a wrong turn on the way from the garden and picked up some strange personality along the way. They looked sad and faded like they'd just been told their vacation got canceled. The rest of the dish tried its best, but the tomatoes were such little troublemakers that the whole thing landed at a 5/10 for me. Not bad, not great, just "yeah... that happened." They took our order and they delivered our food just fine. Prompt. I think the ambiance is decent there, although it would be nice not to get seated in the middle of the room.

Walking inside the first thing I noticed was the lack of decor and warmth in this place. The pictures are hanging up spaced unevenly. The boards above the booths are not screwed into the wall. It honestly looks and feels tacky. There is a lack of decor and the lighting is too harsh. It feels like someone is moving out. Our server and the other employees, are the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. They were absolutely lovely and helped one another out. Our water glasses were filled multiple times and our server was very sweet. The food: we started with a beer and mojito. The beer was good. The Mojito was too strong and too sweet. It was really strange... Then we had the lobster bisque. It was very peppery and lacked flavor. There was only one piece of lobster and it had a strange after taste to it. The jerk chicken nachos were awesome is flavor but sooo greasy. See the pictures. I got the hot chicken and waffles. The texture of the chicken was great!! And the waffles were tasty! But these chicken tenders are very spicy and I could only get through half the meal. I would love if you could pick a non spicy version!! My boyfriend got a lobster roll and said it was good not great and the fries were pretty standard. We will not be back to this location. If you want to try this place, I would recommend the Bloomington location!
