Junction West is a perfect little bar located in a busy part of raleigh. Inside it is very vibrant, the vibe is really cool. The outdoor seating is great for small parties, we had a group of 10 and we were able to rearrange furniture to fit everyone. Street parking is free on the weekends if you're lucky enough to snag a spot. Otherwise there's a parking lot right next to Junction for around $8 for 2 hrs. If you're looking for a place to grab food, there are multiple restaurants in the area to try out. Overall it's a great little spot to grab cocktails or beers. read more

This is such a cute place to hang out with friends and meet new people. Everyone who was there were laid back and social. You can bring your dog and sit out on the turf. I had a couple of glasses of wine and my dog was able to play with her new friends. The hostess did tell us to put our dogs on a leash which I can understand why if they were running around the whole area but our tables were near each other, kinda in the corner and the dogs were behaving very well. So that rubbed me the wrong way a little. Also when we ordered our drinks at the bar my friend removed his mask to take a sip of his drink and the hostess came back to quickly tell him to put his mask back on even though he was drinking. It was a weird vibe from the hostess but the bartender was great and the atmosphere was really chill. I would give it one more shot. read more

Junction West is a giant white room with no discerning features, in the middle of an industrial neighborhood in transition. Seems very out of place. Bartenders seemed to have that sort of intentional IDGAF attitude that comes along with a sense of pretentiousness that I assume some people aspire to. Not my cup of tea. Drink selection itself was fine also, nothing special, and no reason to go here specifically. If you're going to Junction West, you're going for the vibe, and it's not a vibe I enjoy. read more

A pretty spot to take friends and enjoy the city view from a new perspective. They now require a membership, I believe it's $1 (could be $2) and unfortunately they have lost their cushions for their outdoor furniture durning COVID so prepare to sit on the hard wood. However, it's got a lovely outside space, complete with hanging lights to set the mood. A plethora of cocktails, wine, beer and liquor, all priced for Raleigh downtown atmosphere. Definitely has a preppy feel, but you won't be able to do anything but love the view and feel when dusk hits. Great place to bring friends visiting town for classy post-dinner drink. read more

This place is beautiful, I can see this bar being very popular on nice days. The bartenders were not very welcoming or friendly when we stopped in. We ordered a beer, a Trophy IPA, and cocktail, the Surprise Valley. The cocktail was just okay, it was a little on the sweeter side. Went out with some friends to celebrate and it's my first time at this spot. Honestly. Cool vibe. Chill. Great music. Tasty drinks. Unfortunately, Cushionless wood chairs. My party and I asked numerous times for cushions for the wood furniture outside and got rejected each time. It was a little disappointing because who lets it rain ruin things. Stinks that rain was the excuse each time and I checked my weather app and no rain, I was quite confused. Again the vibe at this place is great and a great spot to chill with friends, but I just wish if customers would like to be comfortable the request would be acknowledged. read more

Downtown Raleigh has grown significantly in the last decade, and there are plenty of bars that have decent drink options. Junction West is a bar and event space in a great location with excellent drink options. The cocktails are tasty, and I can always count on at least one unique DIPA or regular IPA on draft. If the bar is full, I'll still probably go somewhere else nearby. But, Junction West has a great space with a nice patio. If I'm out in the Warehouse district, Junction West will always enter the conversation. read more

I visited Junction West for a cocktail this past Friday in the early evening. I think this spot is a great new addition to the Warehouse district! The bar itself is super pretty and clean feeling. My friend and I just had standard cocktails (vodka soda and gin and tonic) which were good but next time ill be sure to try a drink from their menu. Service was fast and friendly as well. The best part is the outside sitting area. There is turf grass, benches and string lights. That coupled with the views and sunset make it a great choice for hanging out! I especially am excited to have another dog friendly(outside) spot downtown! I will be back for sure and I am also excited to check out the event space! read more

I was excited to try this new bar, and I have high hopes that once they find their footing, this place will be really lovely. The space is really bright and clean - very white, unlabeled bar taps, whitewashed brick. The view is also beautiful and the location is ideal if you live/work/hang out in the warehouse district. I was there for happy hour and (assuming this was mostly because it was early afternoon AND opening week), it stayed pretty quiet the whole time we were there. The draught prices were pretty standard, and I didn't get a chance to try the cocktails - but my beer was delicious! I'll definitely be back. read more

I really wanted to try their drink with CBD. The description of the mind mischief did not contain cimmamon- had I known that I would not have ordered it. Nevertheless, I ordered the drink and tasted cinnamon. Was not a fan and realized this on my first sip. I tried to get another drink, considering I did not and would not have any more than that first sip. Unfortunately, the bartender AND management would not give me a drink that I might like unless I would pay for it, even though I paid for the cinnamon drink for $12. From a customer service perspective, this is NOT the place to go. I am with a big group on a holiday and I feel like they should be grateful for the business and encouraging a good time. Junction West is one of my favorite bars in downtown Raleigh with the upscale atmosphere, large event space, and outside area. There is a nice selection of cocktails, craft beers, cider, and wine. Their craft cocktails are always so unique and quite tasty. I love sipping on the Rose Cider and sitting outside with friends. I always feel welcome every time I walk in the door. There are beautiful flowers throughout as well. I will definitely tell everyone about this spot! read more

I love this place! It's a great new addition to downtown Raleigh. The owners were EXTREMELY accommodating to me and my group for a recent event. We had a Grammy award nominated singer who wanted to do a few songs but we had no equipment except for an inexpensive electric keyboard. The owner came out with a connecting cord, adaptors and a top end microphone. She plugged them straight into her wall outlet which fed both the vocals and piano into a nicely balanced, ceiling-hung high quality speaker system. It sounded amazing and our musical guest, Tift Merritt, brought down the house! Good choice for a late night drink. Went here on a Friday night and we were able to sit outside on the great patio area. Not too crowded, so we could talk comfortably without shouting. Drinks were all good and reasonably priced for the Warehouse District. Only negative seemed to be a tiny bathroom. (I did not personally experience this, but at various points in the night there were really long lines for the restroom.) Would definitely go again. read more

We had a two-day company event at Junction West. The venue space was gorgeous, and the owners were very accommodating to our every need. They were so easy to work with and answered every one of the many questions I had prior to our event. During the actual event, they were very diligent about making sure everything was taken care of, such as making sure the coffee and water were full, the temperature was right, and trash was picked up. They had our food set up and organized when it was time to break for lunch. The bathrooms were very clean, and the overall ambiance of the space was great. I highly recommend Junction West and cannot wait to go back! read more
