I'm removing two stars for some frustrating and sadly ironic reasons. Junction is now under new ownership and it's not going well. The new owner has raised prices, reduced portion sizes, increased wait times for food readiness, and increased wait times for food ordering. Nearly all of the front-of-house staff has been replaced and there is a definite vibe of unrest when I walk in now (the few times that I still go there) Chip portions are bleak, the wraps are about two-thirds their previous size, and everything costs more... a recipe for disaster in my opinion. This was the ONE business in Mebane that needed absolutely nothing... it was turn key for any new owner and a guaranteed hit with the locals. Within a few months, the feedback from me and everyone else I've talked to is that it's now on the decline and we no longer recommend it to visitors, or family visiting. Absolute shame... but I shouldn't be surprised. read more

Who thought to put BBQ on a salad?! I don't know, but it makes the Cobb Salad at Junction which is the best salad in the whole world in my opinion, and I have been to 29 countries and lived in 4. So when I say the "whole world", I mean it! Bre, one of the servers, and the rest of the staff always take good care of me. The room temperature is comfortable which is a biggie for me. It's a cozy place to hang with family or friends. They are known for their pizza and burgers, as well, but the Cobb Salad is my go to. It is reasonably priced and takes me 2 days to eat. Cut that "one" star in half.....this place turned out to be one of the primary reasons I seldom eat out. After considerable perusal of their menu fully loaded with entirely OVERPRICED items l finally settled on their chicken (grilled) on a sesame seed bun. Upon delivery it turned out to be less than half a breast, very greasy, very thin, sectioned, and devoid of juices. I halved the sandwich and started eating the smaller half confirming the dryness and already mentioned negatives. I ordered a side of onion rings (very good rings) of which l ate three small leaving five larger rings on the plate. The mgr. (James) refunded half the amount charged ($12.95) even though less than half the sandwich was consumed and much less than half the rings were eaten. The mgr. Didn't bother coming to our table SO I went to where he location. That endeavor turned out to be a waste of time and effort. He seemed totally unconcerned and bothered by my complaint. I don't suppose I have to inform you, I WILL NOT BE BACK! My wife had their lasagna, which she declared VERY GOOD, but, still overpriced! read more

We tried this place for the first time. Not thrilled with it. The bathrooms were clean, the place in general was clean. We waited longer to be seated than need be considering it was a virtually empty restaurant. Wait staff was walking around tending to the few tables, but we weren't greeted. Our waitress was nice/friendly, but not very attentive. All the wait staff were wearing (too short) shorts and T-shirts, looking like they just got back from the beach. Husband ordered a burger, medium, with fries. I ordered the ribs with chips and mac n cheese. The food came SUPER QUICK. From order to the time it came out, it couldn't have been more than FIVE minutes. Sadly, the food was just warm, and mediocre, AT BEST! Husbands burger was nearly raw. Sent it back. My ribs were almost cold by the time his replacement burger came out. It took at least ten minutes. This time, it was WELL DONE, and not even juicy. Rather than send it back, he ate it. He was hungry. My chips were over done, the mac n cheese was greasy and slightly clumpy. The ribs were tender, but somewhat mushy, and not super flavorful. Good food in the heart of downtown Mebane.. Would definitely recommend this place. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff.

Went there recently for a date lunch. Love love love the duck wontons!! Get them with the Chipotle mayo game changer!! We shared the dub bacon cheese burger and o-rings. Burger was perfect add the Chipotle mayo for me spot on and extra pickles. We loved it was what we needed. The service was great attentive didn't need to ask for anything. We stopped by recently after an afternoon at the outlets and were pleasantly surprised! We were sat immediately on a Saturday night which was nice. We started with the Duck Bacon Wontons which were the star of the night for me. I was cautiously optimistic when we ordered these but once we tasted them, 100% glad we did, I wish there was more than just 5 in the order! A unique but delicious flavor combo all fried to perfection and served with the perfect teriyaki dipping sauce. We also ordered the Grandmas pizza which was pretty good as well! We added sausage to ours and it was the perfect addition. The pizza itself was big enough for us to have ordered it by itself, but we underestimated and ordered a burger as well lol. We ordered the Double Bacon Cheeseburger with chips and this was good as well! Small spot has lots of old school signs on the walls. Service is efficient. No liquor license anymore so unless you want beer or wine that's all you can get. Absolutely love their duck wontons. Best restaurant in mebane! Always go here whether it's for burgers, pizza or even a yummy pasta dish. Got takeout this weekend and even though they were extremely busy, food was still ready under 20 min! I got the "Steve's All American" burger which comes with bacon and cheese with a side of onion rings! So delicious! Always bring friends here, and would recommend to all. The service was good and prompt. The food didn't take long at all to be served. I ordered the duck bacon wontons and 8 wings for appetizers. Wontons were creamy inside like a mini pot pie with a sweet dipping sauce. The wings were breaded and fried to perfection. My daughter got a pretty big bowl of mac and cheese. Stopped here with a friend for lunch after reading pretty good reviews here on Yelp. I ordered the baked pasta, she had the Cobb salad with chicken. Mine was marginal (and pretty flavorless) at best and hers, although covered in what seemed to be an entire portion of a whole chicken, was plagued by the chicken juices covering the entirety of the salad and was too greasy for her. We both barely ate, checked out never to return. Service was good with the exception of not giving us utensils and after sitting waiting for about 10 minutes with a side salad in front of me and catching another server to ask for utensils and her informing us that they were waiting for some to come out of the washer. I was pretty heartbroken to learn that a favorite restaurant of mine, Carmine's in Winston-Salem, had become victim to post-pandemic closure. R.I.P. to them. They had the best pasta alfredo I'd ever eaten, and I didn't know where I would find any restaurant that could compare. Enter Junction. I'm serious, their alfredo sauce is to die for. I hadn't had pasta in a long time (which we usually make at home), and we've had trouble finding a really good pasta place. (Hawthorne's and Elizabeth's just doesn't cut it for me.) Junction's custom penne alfredo was just what I needed and reignited my love for Italian food (northern Italian, particularly). The sauce was creamy, thick and flavorful, and the general food portions were a-plenty. I'm excited to go back. The jambalaya was spicy and full of flavor. It's not overwhelming spicy but just right. The ribeye was cooked just as my wife ordered and had a nice grilled flavor to it. Service was great as well.
