I've ordered a couple of different cold sandwiches and had some of their salads over the summer, and they were very good and a very good price. Then, this week I was dying for a hot sandwich so I googled Quaker and behold they had a daily menu posted on a website! I wasn't sure if it was an old menu, so I took a ride over there to check it out. I ordered a meatball sub and I'm happy to say it certainly hit the spot! I told my coworkers and I will tell others to give "Quaker Deli" another try! I love the new menu and I'm so happy that hot good quality sandwiches are available! Keep it up!

Our choices were 4:30 or 6:30, we chose to go early after a two-mile chilly walk along the beautiful Blackstone Canal, just 7 minutes away from the UxLocale. We were seated immediately and our waitress arrived in just moments. We were provided menus, waters and we ordered some drinks which arrived not long after. There were only a few patrons here as the UxLocale opens at 4pm. The menu changes weekly, and our party of four selected: * Warm Pecorino with Truffle Honey Cheese * Tuscan Shrimp Pappardelle * Tomato Carbonara Pappardelle * (2) 1.5" New York Strip Steak * Cannoli for Dessert Let's start with the steaks. In a word, delicious! Both were cooked perfectly medium rare, tender and juicy. Two sides are included, I got the Beet Salad (tasty and nicely dressed) and the potatoes with bacon which were awesome. A co-diner ordered the same dish but got the Caesar salad which he liked very much. We both agreed, a solid 5-star dinner at a reasonable $37 price. The shrimp plate looked beautiful and substantial. The diner loved it and ate every bite. The Tomato Carbonara Pappardelle was also tasty, albeit with strong pepper undertones. If you don't like a lot of pepper, you might try a different dish, or ask if the chefs can cut back on it. That said, I liked it and would be happy to order this. Most of the diners liked the Warm Pecorino with Truffle Honey Cheese Skillet (slices of Pecorino Romano cheese, warmed to a mild melt and drizzled with truffle-infused honey. The salty, sharp cheese and sweet, pungent honey are a classic pairing in Tuscan cuisine. Warmed and served on a cast-iron skillet). I liked it, one diner thought it was too salty, though that is the way it's described above. The dishes are all large, three of us brought home leftovers. We finished by sharing a cannoli dessert, which was excellent, crispy cannoli with a light and tasty filling. An outstanding dinner, with excellent services at a reasonable price (dinner for four with drinks was $209 before tip). A solid 5-stars on this visit. Note that they request tips be left in cash (for all of us who use little if any cash these days). There is a cash machine when you first enter.

jumbo used to be one of our favorites. over the years it's become less sanitary, the building is falling apart, and they are overpriced. i came in to order a breakfast sandwich during the weekend not too long ago, normally it is busy. the manager was also present this day, she hears the bagel and goes to grab it but not even with any paper or gloves. her barehands touched the bagel, before she approached to grab my bagel she had been exchanging money with other customers, touching the cash register many times, and grabbing trash from the floor. she didn't even consider washing her hands before grabbing. to add on, the buildings ceiling is dripping? while waiting i had watched water drip onto the oven. looking at the ceiling it was completely soaked by some type of liquid? i was extremely uncomfortable knowing that the stores condition is not even being maintained. that freaks me out! for prices, adding an extra egg or extra cheese is a dollar more, adding any extra meat is 2 dollars more for any sandwiches, making it come out to almost 10$. they're iced and hot coffees are a decent price. looking at the smoothies and infusions it's almost 10 dollars based on what size you get?! i am utterly disappointed because i expected better.. most people think they are getting the prices up on the board but it is completely out dated. some of the items they no longer have displayed on the menu. jumbos donuts needs to be taken accountable i am disgusted, this is unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

Well I've tried to go through here for breakfast sandwiches and was told they are too small to have a grill. It is just not my preference. On the positive side, they have a drive thru. Tiny parking lot though. Feels scrunched and awkward, with a high drop off when pulling out the other side. I just have to say, I find it really weird and unprofessional that the manager (Christine or Christina or something) is allowed to act how she's acting on here. Rather than taking constructive criticism on Yelp (that is what it is, they are from customers who cared enough to share their personal experience to help others spend money/time wisely AND for owners to learn exactly how to win back customers if they care to do so) as a way to improve customer satisfaction, she chooses to use Yelp to attack their own customers. And it reads like an rude little teenage girl with no respect. If you wanted to prove to those of us skimming the reviews of your business that you dont care about your customers, job well done. read more

If you want to have the best coffee, donuts, and sandwiches you have to go to Jumbos!! They use fresh eggs for their sandwiches which many fast food places don't. They really stand out, their donuts are to die for and are really JUMBO. Try the Extra Jumbo donut for a treat, you won't regret it. i have been going to jumbos for 7 years now and i have to say they have the best coffee and donuts in the area! The coffee actually tastes like coffee (not watery as i have tasted at some other places) and the donuts are always fresh. I love that they make egg sandwiches using real eggs (not the powdered eggs dunkins uses) I highly recommend you stop by their 3 locations if you are ever in the blackstone area. read more

OK donuts, they are "jumbo" but lack the taste and texture of a good donut. They often taste dry and bland. The filled donuts are orten very light on filling. You can get a lemon donut the size of a tea plate, but it will have a drop of lemon filling the size of a quarter. Not my first choice, but when I don't feel like waiting in DnDs line, I go here. read more
