The sign says roast beef but it's clearly Ham

How is this place still in business. I hated the shitty food 5 years ago and in 5 years it only got worse. Nothing even looks appetizing the signs over the food are completely wrong and the few things I tried tasted horrible and old. I've eaten at places that were questionable and hours later you regret your decision well I'm already feeling like I have food poisoning and I just pushed my plate away...... STAY AWAY FROM THIS TOXIC PLACE!

If you like your ice cream topped with unknown gunk this is the place to be.

Very delicious, warm and relatively cheap for a buffet. Staff was polite and efficient.

Buffet is good, decent food. Prices aren't too bad. Their hot tea is my favorite. Their waiting servers are a little rude though.

The eggs were perfectly cooked soft and buttery. And the sour dough toast with that perfect sour dough tang was the perfect edition. Even the coffee in the French press takes the coffee to another level. But talking about Oak & Reed flair the signature waffle was possibly one of the best things I have eaten. The waffle with that pearl sugar is the way a waffle should be made but then they have that waffle filled with Dutch caramel and that mascarpone on top is perfect. The tang, sweetness, butteriness, the crisp yet fluffy waffle it all was an equation for an amazing breakfast item. I could eat that every time I go. Truly amazing. The staff in Oak & Reed is always amazing attentive and kind. Live the open kitchen concept. Especially with my two year old currently in a Ratatouille kick so she wanted to see the chefs while she looked for Remy cooking. All in all Oak & Reed never disappoints.

Unfortunately I have to say this place was just meh!…read more This is one of my friends favorite restaurant, she even wanted to have them cater her wedding. So I was excited when we finally got a chance to try it. And here is where it may have been my fault, maybe I hyped it up too much. So the funny thing when we arrived at the restaurant and I saw another friend. She told me it was her first time and it wasn't good (this was a warning!) she said especially the chicken and waffles. So again maybe it's my fault because I didn't listen. My heart was set on the chicken and waffles and she was right. It was not good. Like how do you mess up chicken and waffles? It was lacking all types of flavor. It was bad. Why 3 stars than? Because their Spicy Pork Congee was amazing! It's an Asian rice dish and everything that lacked flavor in the chicken and waffles was made up in this dish. The problem? This is only an appetizer. It needs to be an entree, which would mean making it a larger portion. It was fantastic! They also had a decent beer selection which we got. The inside of the restaurant is cute. It has so much potential I just think maybe a revamp of the recipes. But maybe another dish would be good. We came for brunch so I don't know how their dinner menu is. I will probably give them another chance because how amazing the congee was I know they have potential to be great.

Next the service- it was extremely slow. Like super slow but I will say the staff was very nice and it seemed like our waitress was waiting on many tables by herself so I wasn't mad about how slow it was. But it should be noted. Now the Drinks. I truly don't know how I feel! My friend and I both ordered drinks. She ordered the Pom-Amore which is supposed to have fresh pomegranates in it and an edible flower as a garnish per the description. It had neither! She did have cranberries in it, maybe they ran out? I personally don't like that, they should have informed her they didn't have the right garnishes what if she was allergic? I had the cranberry limoncello which was supposed to have cranberries in it and it had none, hilarious I know! On top of that my glass was dirty had something caked on the inside the glass (like my straw wouldn't move it off) so they had to remake it. But it did taste very good. Lastly the food- My friend ordered the burger she said it was very greasy, I didn't try it so I'm not sure. She had the hand cut fries with it and I did try them and they were delicious! The portion of the burger and fries was huge! I got the avocado egg rolls and the Sweet Thai Wings. I wanted to hate the egg rolls because when they came out it's literally just like avocado inside, which is my own fault I assumed it was going to be more like a southwestern egg roll. However, they were delicious! It came with this spicy sauce that was so good. The only down side is that they left the avocado pit inside one of my egg rolls- I took a picture- which wasn't pleasant to bite down on. I also ordered the wings. They were good. The sweet Thai chili did not taste like Thai chili rather more like a buffalo wing so much so that I wondered if they brought out the wrong wings. I will say I got a bit of an ick because I found feathers on the wings. These are fresh butchered wings so it's understandable but also not my favorite thing to have happened. To note: I think it would have been nice because of the dirty glass for them to have offered a free dessert or something (especially since both our drinks were made wrong but to be honest we didn't tell them that they were) but that's just my personally thought for excellent customer service. Again, the waitress was extremely nice so of course I still tipped 20%!

The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived, with only one other table seated. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming and took the time to go over the specials, which we appreciated. We ordered the bistro wings to start, my wife ordered the chicken caprese, and I ordered the chicken piccata gnocchi. The wings came out fairly quickly and were actually very good. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. My wife's entrée took about 45 minutes to arrive. Mine came out an additional 35 minutes after that, which was surprising given how empty the restaurant was. When my dish finally arrived, the chicken was overcooked on the outside but pink on the inside, making it inedible. I pushed it aside and waited for our waitress to come back so I could show her. She was apologetic and removed the dish from the bill, and she did offer to bring something else, but at that point I declined. The manager also came over to apologize. With the open-kitchen concept, I realized she was the one who prepared the dish, which made the situation even more disappointing. Overall, between the extremely long wait times and the improperly cooked food, this experience missed the mark. While the staff handled the situation politely, it wasn't enough to make up for the issues. Unfortunately, we won't be revisiting.

The "ambiance" here is sort of 90s mall ish wanna be upscale but ended up on the short bus. We ordered the chicken nachos to share, the 110 burger and chicken noki. The food took 40 minutes to come out and when it did it was all at once and except for the nachos cold. The original server we had ignored us and another one delivered the food and took care of us. This made no sense... The servers refused to provide my wife with a plate to share nachos and were rude. This in itself was inexcusable. The Chicken Nachos were eddible however the chips were somewhat overdone. The burger was ok however the pickled onions added no value to the meal and tasted weird. The original server tried to take my plate before I was done. I was trying to eat my fries...not sure why.. werid. It's clear we were not welcome. Maybe it's my t-shirt or the Sam Adams hat who the hell knows. It's a mall .. and this is not fine dining however I doubt it's that.. I think they're just lazy and bad at service. What I do know is it's the last time I will be coming here. How do you forget about customers when you're charging these prices?
