Hot pot
Alyssa R.

I was super excited when i saw we were getting a hot pot place in middletown. Brought my whole family here because none of them had tried hot pot before. The waitress was very kind and helpful. They have a cool ordering system where you can order whatever youd like on the app whenever youd like it. My only problem with the place was that it was shard to gauge how much you were getting of an item you ordered. Some things would come with way too much while others would be a single item or small amount. Everything was delicious and it was a great experience. My only regret was enjoying it too much to take pictures. I cant wait to go back.

Food was delicious, the options on the buffet were endless and we loved it. The service and sauce bar was great. Great little spot.

FINALLY! An all you can eat hotpot has opened up in Middletown! The selection of choices here are pretty standard with the usual veggies and meats. They have two flavors of base: the non spicy and the spicy one. For the spicy pot base make sure to ask for your desired spice level as it's not on the selection online. They also have a wide selection of sauce choices and you can mix and match as you please. Definitely support the local businesses as they always try their best to bring new eats to our beloved city of Middletown!

GREAT EXPERIENCE! This was only my 2nd experience with Hot Pot and I forgot how to "do it." The waitress was so patient, explaining everything and helping us order our food choices on the site (you can order as much as you want from meat, seafood, vegetables, noodles & dumplings). She brought out the soup bases in personal "hot pots" and you proceed to add your ingredients. The food was so fresh & plentiful, the restaurant was clean and the waitress was so friendly! We can't wait to come back!

Sooo many sauce choices from sesame oil (I recommend putting it in the soup) to peanut sauce. All quite yummy

Such a fun experience! Hoping they get the barbecue going soon. Took family here for my second trip and even the picky eaters found something they liked. One of my new favorite spots in Middletown.

For the drink, it was very refreshing and just the right amount of sweet, though I wish it had strawberry boba over the tapioca pearls. The pork dumplings were piping hot and very fresh, plenty of filling inside and not greasy. The dipping sauce was tangy and very vinegary forward, definitely a flavor trip. The beef ribs, were so melt in your mouth tender and flavorful, I really like gravy type sauce it was bathed in and really great ladled on the rice. Do wish I had more ribs though, since definitely the part of the meal, plus the plate it comes on, sells the meal. I did really appreciate how kind the people were here and very friendly as well.

If you check out my posts, we love Korean BBQ. Unfortunately, the meats were all under seasoned. The pork belly was really bland, I tired dipping into the sauces but even that couldn't enhance the taste. My son loves egg soufflé and if you see the picture, this does not compare to the egg soufflés we've been to. Unfortunately, even the kids had a literal bad taste in their mouth. The cooking area was small and the heat not strong enough that after cooking the first 6 half strips of thinly sliced pork belly, we had to wait 7 minutes for the next batch to cook. Yeah, the place does look very deserted but picks up after 7-7:30 pm. Reading other reviews, I'm glad that some people find the place great but for Korean style BBQ and meat flavor, they totally missed the mark. You can definitely improve a lot on this.

Sizzling shrimp, first huge jumbo shrimp so very generous on portions, plus cooked just right and bathe completely in the sauce, plenty of diced onions and peppers and mildly spicy over all. Chicken in chili oil was my favorite, I mean a whole cut chicken fit in that container, both white and dark meat, was tender and moist, plus the chili oil was just right spicy level without being assertive. This place I find special considering it's more of authentic Chinese cuisine rather than the typical Americanized version, that alone is a big draw for this place.

This isn't just another all-you-can-eat spot--it's a full, well-executed Korean BBQ and hot pot experience done right. First, the food quality is outstanding. The meats come out fresh, well-cut, and vibrant, especially the thin-sliced beef which cooks perfectly in seconds. Nothing looks frozen, dull, or rushed. The hot pot broth is rich and flavorful, not watered down, and pairs perfectly with noodles, seafood, and vegetables. Everything--from bok choy and bean sprouts to seafood like octopus--tastes clean and intentional. What really sets this place apart is the interactive experience. Cooking at the table is smooth and efficient, the equipment works properly (which matters more than people think), and nothing feels chaotic or disorganized. You're not waiting forever for refills or chasing staff down--service is attentive, fast, and professional. The atmosphere is fun but polished. Modern decor, great lighting, and even small touches like the claw machine near the entrance make it feel lively without being overwhelming. It's perfect for dates, groups, or even just treating yourself to a serious meal. Value-wise? Completely worth it. You get premium ingredients, variety, and an experience that justifies the price. This is the kind of place you leave full, satisfied, and already planning your next visit. Bottom line: KPOT Englewood sets the standard for Korean BBQ and hot pot in North Jersey. If you're debating where to go--stop debating and come here. Highly recommended.

Fast forward to now, I finally dipped back in. This time, at Super Bowl. Hubs and I didn't leave disappointed. First off, the seating here is actually comfortable. You can breathe, spread out and actually enjoy the meal. Bonus points: if you're not feeling the buffet marathon, they have an à la carte menu. But their buffet is the real showstopper: They don't skimp on meats and seafood. Plenty of options, cooked up different ways and the seafood is fresh. Salads, Rice & Veg: Yeah, they've got the "healthy section"- but honestly, as much I like salad, I wasn't here for lettuce. There's even a Hot Pot Station that looked fun. I hope they have veg broth. Maybe next time? The bottom line is this- Super Bowl nails its clean, has a good spread, the prices are solid and service is on point. Plates are cleared fast, drinks topped up without that awkward flagging someone down. And, you walk out full and satisfied. This is definitely a level up from the run-of-the-mill AYCEs and nice to see Super B. up in these neck of the woods.

We've been ordering from here for years, and I can't believe that I've never done a review! We have never had a bad item off their large menu yet. The place is clean, I like the atmosphere, and everybody is friendly. One thing that we have not done from here, is the hot pot, (the "Super Bowl" in the name,) where you cook your own food, tableside, In a bowl of hot broth that they provide you. I've done that before at other restaurants, and it is a lot of fun. I hear that it is extremely good, here. . They do delivery through most of the delivery platforms, but you are going to pay a higher amount than if you ordered from them directly. And not only the delivery fee, either. The menu prices are higher if you go through one of the delivery platforms. If you are going to be ordering food to pick up, the best way to do it is directly through their webpage. That way you don't have to pay a premium... Tonight, I ordered from their large "all day special" menu. An egg roll, your choice of soup, your choice of rice, and your choice of entrée from their large list, all for only $14.95, plus tax. That's an amazing price! Tonight, I ordered the chicken curry with egg drop soup and fried rice. It's amazing that I got so much food for such a small price. The eggroll was large and delicious, and the soup was excellent. Not too oily, not too greasy. The rice was just the right texture, and the chicken curry was amazing! The chicken was tender, and the veggies were not over or underdone. Also, I could definitely taste the curry. It was just a little bit spicy, but not too much. Just enough that I knew the spice was there. After the egg roll and the soup, I barely made it halfway through my main course. The rest ended up as my midnight snack. We will continue to order from here. Thank you! UPDATE: The food was so good last night, I ordered from the "special menu again, for the next two nights in a row. The first night, .I had the shrimp and veggies with brown rice, and wonton soup. There was a one dollar "upcharge" for the wonton soup, but that was no big deal at all, because it was chock full of large tender wontons, with a delicious filling. There was a good amount of decent sized. Tender, shrimp, and again, the veggies were done just right. The rice was good as usual. I didn't mention it last night, but there was a tiny taste of cinnamon to the eggroll. I didn't mind it at all, because that comes from the "five spice" that they use. The five spice really adds to the flavor. Once again, half of the meal is going to be my midnight snack. The second night, pretty much the exact same excellent experience. I had the wonton soup again, and this time I had the "Thailand chicken" with fried rice. I was worried about the name, but there was not a "spicy" symbol next to it on the menu, so I asked. She said it was not spicy. Once again, the chicken and veggies were excellent. It had a very good sauce. I can't really describe it, because I can't recognize the flavors, but it was very good. As for spice? Again, there was just a tiny bit of spice, just enough that I knewthat it was there. As is a bad habit of mine,, I tore into it so fast, I forgot to get a picture. Thanks again for the great food!!

First time for me, and hopefully not the last. Unfortunately, I live in DC but this will definitely be on the list of favorite restaurants to return to. FOOD: Holy Shabu-moly! The fish cake, veggie, noodle, dumpling, sauce selection was too much. Seriously, I mean that literally. Patrons are paralyzed by the paradox of choice. Fewer options would help me focus on the essentials and allow me more time eating than deciding. Lol. Honestly I wish I would have just focused on ordering the meats. SERVICE: We had a young waiter who was very attentive, professional, accommodating, and understanding. Also, an older gentleman who I can only imagine was a manager, stopped by to fill our water glasses and ensure we were happy with everything.
