Best darn supermarket! I find alot of rare mushrooms, fruits, and veggies here. As a person with a specific diet it's nice that they have more options that I can have than the regular super market. Everyone here is also so friendly, I got help with tofu recommendations after a nice gentleman saw me struggling to make a decision. I recommend the mini bananas if they are in season. I was looking for Lumpia wrappers and was pleasantly surprised they had them. Many Asian markets sell spring roll wrappers but not the ones I wanted! I asked the lady at the register which one was best and after getting home my friend confirmed she was spot on. I could have spent hours there! read more

Best Asian supermarket in the entire Orange County area. Very helpful and friendly service. Fair prices. Parking is in the back as is the main entrance and the cashiers. You will find mainly fresh vegetables in stock that are used in Chinese cuisine. They carry real yams. Have a variety of Chinese sundries and kitchen stuff. Clean, nice Asian food market. I was looking for Japanese staples,and I pretty much found everything I needed,even the Kewpie mayonnaise! It's like Chinatown with every nook and corner filled with either delicious, unusual or unidentifiable food items. Baby bok choy and a zillion different dumplings are some of my favorites. It's mesmerizing just walking around the shop! Highly recommend!! read more

The people who work here are lovely, helpful and friendly, and the place is clean and inviting. I felt delighted to hear classical music played not too loudly--that is my idea of perfection. The prepared food, sushi, pastries and buns are excellent. The choice of teas is vast and good. Maybe because I am Western and cook as a Westerner, I cannot make it my staple grocery store--though it does have what looks like a fine selection of incomprehensible items! Just not my items (Corn meal, coffee, cheese, collards, and catfish are among my items. Also alliteration). The produce section is too small. I hope as they grow and become more established, they will have enough turnover to support a big produce section--I live nearby and would love to shop there for fruit and vegetables. read more

I went here about 3 months after they opened. I found some nice Chinese tea and sunflower seeds. However, I expected better prices for an asian supermarket. I thought that prices would be similar to asian supermarkets in Brooklyn. The seafood was good, but priced higher than Shoprite. There was only half of an isle of fruits and vegetables, which is very unusual for an asian supermarket. In Brooklyn I used to get the best quality fruits and vegetables at the best prices in Chinese markets, but I was quite disappointed by the low selection and quality here. There was quite a bit of unused shop space. I hear that the supermarket is expecting local merchants to contribute, but for now it was quite barren and kind of weird. read more

My new spot for fresh produce and asian food. They have a good selection of Japanese, Korean and of course Chinese food. My new favorite place! They have fresh sushi there as well! People who live in this area usually need to drive 2 hours to NYC if they want to have decent Asian grocery shopping. Let's face it, there's not much in the hudson valley in the way of quality Asian markets. This place does its best and stocks much of the basic necessities to get you through until your next annual trip to flushing. Good selection of packaged noodles and other staple goods, sauces, oils, dips, teas, spices and snacks, a good core selection of Asian fruits,veggies, beverages, tofu, and frozen fare, including Chinese style dumplings, meats, sliced for hot pot and otherwise, and even has a small housewares section. Fair prices even on specialty items. Good place to stock up on some common grocery items too like eggs, cilantro, garlic and scallions. Old location in Dolson was just way too big and ambitious for our area. This space is much more manageable and critics should be more forgiving considering how hard I imagine it would be to maintain fresh variety of inventory like what you see in NYC. This store definitely hits the spot without spending gas and tolls and a days worth of traveling to and from the city when I want some decent Chinese dumplings or red bean congee! I encourage anyone who needs Asian goods around here to pay this store a visit. read more

These guys used to be on Dolson Avenue and Moved to Main Street. They are terrific! What a great supermarket! The atmosphere is great and the selection of Asian foods is second to none! The people are great and the prices are reasonable. They even have prepared food ready to eat. So you can go there on the fly and grab a meal to go. Think of this place as the Asian version of Shop Rite with a micro Restaurant/Deli inside. It's worth stopping in just to take a look around and see what they have to offer. Who knows, you might get some creative ideas for your next home cooked meal or walk out with one ready to go. read more
