Discountinue the bread and keep everything else! I went to Juliet's on the square and enjoyed an evening stroll. The ambiance was so calming and plenty of natural light came through the windows. The air was filled with evening chatter, smiles, and the sunset. When I was sat down, it took a while to get a waiter after being seated by the hostess. I saw one waiter going to other tables in my section and I was never acknowledged. The bathroom was clean and decorated well . For my drink I got a house made freshly squeezed lemonade. The lemonade was perfect and the best I've ever had honestly. My waiter gave me bread with olive oil and red wine vinegar . I thought the bread would be warm and it was the total opposite. I wish the bread never made it to my table. I tried to give it a chance with several bites. I ordered the lobster roll that came with fries. I wasn't expected it to be such a grand dish. The lobster roll was so good and the lobster was very fresh. The flavors melted in my mouth perfectly. The dill sprinkled into the sauce/spread on the lobster roll was chef's kiss! I didn't even need the fries even though they were so good. I know the sandwhich was good because I ignored my fries. Overall my food was good. I can definitely use another lobster roll. read more

I've eaten Italian food all over the world. And I have been in the food business for over 50 years. And I did not really expect what I would consider good Italian food in Georgetown, TX. The pasta was cooked well, and. the pasta sauce was good. HOWEVER, when all of us go out to dinner we're looking for a total experience. Food can be good, but if the service is not good, the evening is disappointing. (And I will have to adjust my overall rating.) The wait staff, on the other hand, were terribly unprepared on how to service diners. THAT IS A MANAGEMENT PROBLEM. They didn't know their food products, they didn't bring silverware for salads. They didn't bring anything along the line of Italian bread or butter, until I asked for it. And at the same time all they asked was "how was your food.?" SO, I doubt that I will be back. The bill was TOO HIGH for okay food, and terrible service. And my wife's steamed mussell was rotten. (1 out of 8, do the math.) The head chef told me when I dined there on the last day of '25 there will be a HUGE menu change, MAJOR renovations interior-wide and the upstairs will be venue space from here on out. THE RESTAURANT WILL SEEK IT'S PLACE IN GEORGETOWN'S UPSCALE DINING SECTOR. The delicious, fresh herbs and meat Italian dishes and full bar will continue. But soon, they will add seafood (oysters Rockefeller, salmon, crab, lobster) wagyu burgers, steaks and more. The interior will become "more intimate" the chef said. There will be a wall-long bench seat along the 7th St.-side wall with tables and chairs facing the bench. The paint will go to more earth tones with reconstruction work starting on New Year's Day. EXPECT A SOFT UNVEILING OF NEW MENU A COUPLE OF WEEKS INTO THE NEW YEAR. The food as it is now packs flavorful, herby punch. The service was outstanding and it's the kitchen is on point. The Internet shows this location opens at 11am, but they don't open until 11:30. Several folks turned away due to the confusion. Super nice staff and cute atmosphere in the heart of downtown Georgetown. We did lunch on Valentine's and didn't realize they would have a special menu, as it wasn't listed on their site or the reservation we made. The special menu excluded the two items one person in the party was wanting to try, which was a huge disappointment. We did ask if they could still make it and the staff conferred with the chef, who agreed to make the exception! Rundown of food: Complimentary bread and oil: The bread was so warm and flavorful - super unexpected and a pleasant surprise Burrata: absolutely phenomenal, pesto was on point Polpette (meatballs appetizer): so delicious, served hot and savory Lobster roll and fries: expected much more lobster than we received, but was tasty - fries are battered so extra crunchy Bolognese: pretty good, nothing special but was tasty Sea Bass: the cook on the sea bass was off as it was not flaky, but the glaze on the fish was absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes had an off-putting texture and often felt like boxed powdered potatoes. The pickled carrots had a very unusual flavor and were charred, even though they were supposed to be pickled. We really enjoyed our experience, so I was kinda shocked to see the below average ratings on here. We visited during happy hour on a Saturday and we were seated right away on the front patio, which is a great spot to enjoy the weather and people watch. We ordered the lasagna and meatballs. They were both really solid choices. The lasagna was hearty and I would recommend getting it Bolognese style. We came here two weeks ago for a function as a corporate guest. We were seated upstairs in their function room and had dedicated wait staff for our event, so YMMV applies when relating our experience to that of a paying customer. If you're seated downstairs, you'll have an easy go at access. Unfortunately our event was upstairs, and the event staff were directing us up a long flight of stairs. We later found the elevator, which my bad knee would have greatly appreciated. Service was nearly totally missing and haphazard. Even though we filled out menus for food and drink, they weren't followed. Apparently, they were so overwhelmed with the group that they just started bringing dishes to tables and hoped that everyone remembered (and got what they ordered). I got the food I ordered but it was hard flagging someone down to get my beverage an hour into the event. Water refills were promised several times but never delivered to our table. On the bright side, the food delivered was plentiful and above-average in quality. The Caesar salad was a good rendition and reasonable portion size. The Brussels Sprouts appetizer was enough for three as an app, and nearly a meal in itself. The lasagna was a bit of a disappointment; while tasty and large enough to take half of it home as leftovers, the red sauce lacked flavor and character. It was more like they opened jars of Prego, heated and poured it atop. Really, when the entree at an Italian restaurant is nothing to write home about, what's the point of the place? We might be back as paying patrons someday, but there's a lot more to explore in our new hometown. It'll be awhile, Juliet. read more

The chicken had no flavor and was chewy and gross. Olive Garden has better food. Our server was nice but the rest of the staff was loud and obnoxious. The hostess was not friendly at all. The family decided to hit this gem up before a mid week night of bowling. Shrimp scampi did not disappoint! Also, the chicken parm was cooked to perfection! Nage, the bartender made my wife a cucumber martini that was to die for! We sat upstairs where they had live music and absolutely loved the vibe! I would give more stars if I could! read more

Absolutely the worst dining experience we've ever had. We've been loyal fans of Juliet in downtown Austin for years, but the new Georgetown location was a complete disaster from start to finish. We had a reservation, arrived early, and were seated at a table with no silverware, no napkins, and no server for 15+ minutes. When our server finally appeared, he was clearly untrained, distracted, rude and overwhelmed. They have a very limited menu and were out of half the menu-- We tried to order ravioli - out, meatballs - out, mozzarella sticks - out, even bread for the table - out, and on one of the busiest weekends of the year, with zero apology or explanation. After 45 minutes, only one incorrect salad arrived (missing key ingredients), and we still had no silverware. Tables around us were also waiting 1-2 hours without food. The manager only came over when we asked for him, blamed a private party downstairs, and admitted they "shouldn't have taken other reservations." After 90 minutes, he told us our entrées would take "a lot lot longer" and suggested we just leave and take a gift card for a future visit. As we walked out hungry and frustrated, he offered us someone else's cold abandoned dishes. The family next to us only received half of their entrees after 2 hours and left. Our family's special night celebrating our daughter with out of town guests was completely ruined. Truly shocking mismanagement. Juliet should be mortified to have their name on this location. So when I was talking about my review at Sarah's tailoring. It's because I was going to a wedding in Georgetown after the wedding. We went to Juliet's Italian kitchen for our wedding dinner. The people there are so kind they set us up with a private room on the second floor.. The Weight staff was very kind and friendly and they served everyone the entrées and appetizers in a very timely manner. I had the white lasagna and my friend next to me had the salmon. Her salmon looked beautiful. I had to take a picture of it hats off to the chef for the they're good played skills . I had the white lasagna, which was really really good. I am definitely going back to Juliet on the Georgetown Square for just to try that salmon dish thank you Juliet for making my friends wedding a very wonderful one read more

Our family visited the Georgetown location for the first time and had a very enjoyable experience. Our reservation began towards the end of happy hour (3-6pm daily!) so we each enjoyed a drink and appetizers to start, followed by main courses. I will say the menu posted online was slightly different than the one we saw in house - specifically for happy hour - but we were still able to find things we liked. DRINKS: The cocktails use well liquors so just be aware if you have strict preferences. They also do their own variations on recipes (e.g. the Aperol Spritz ingredients are listed as Aperol, sparkling rosé, and mint instead of a traditional recipe which typically uses Aperol, Prosecco, and a splash of club soda). To each their own! APPETIZERS: As for appetizers, the charcuterie tray was nice and had everything you'd expect - but the steak "flatbread" was a bit odd. It was essentially a pita with steak and peppers on top and a side of chips (?). ENTREES: For main dishes we had Classic Lasagna, White Lasagna, Butternut Squash Ravioli, and a side of pasta with sauce. Everything was great! The White Lasagna and Butternut Squash Ravioli were the stand outs for me. The White Lasagna was VERY creamy and decadent, while the Butternut Squash Ravioli was expertly cooked and the brown butter sage was perfectly sweet and spiced. It was also served on a generous bed of butternut squash purée, which was fantastic. Someone at the table next to us had the Chicken Alfredo Funghi dish and it looked great so I might try that next time. SERVICE: Service was very kind and attentive. The place was full and despite only having two waiters to cover the floor, we were never kept waiting for anything. (I also appreciated the quick loop at 5:58pm to see if we needed any last minute happy hour items before the window closed!) I do recommend this business. This is our third time here and the first two times were wonderful. Today's visit was not so great. My husband ordered a beer and they brought the wrong one and then he tried to get the one he wanted and then they said they didn't have it. They brought the Bolognese out and sat it on the table without any silverware for us or napkins. And then it was a little bit cold by the time we got to eat it and then we got the bread when we were halfway done with the Bolognese. So today's visit was not quite as wonderful, but we will try another time because the first two times were great. Worst customer service and disappointing food. Restaurant wasn't even half full while they had 2 step Inn going on right outside their doorstep. That's more of a telling sign than anything about the trajectory of this place after rebranding to "Juliet Social". I was charged for two non-alcoholic beers when I only had one, after they initially brought it out incorrectly. When I calmly asked for the extra charge to be removed, a staff member (who first said her name was Ashley) lectured me, said they don't remove charges, and claimed every restaurant serves beer this way. The situation escalated when she became confrontational at the bar, and we were all told to leave while my family was still finishing their drinks. I said we would leave once they were done and told her to call the police if she felt it was necessary. Bryan Cromwell then told us to leave, falsely accused us of using profanity, and represented himself as a chef. Based on the restaurant's own website, he is actually the Chief Operations Officer. On top of that, the food was bland, the burger bun was as hard as a rock, and the water glasses were dirty. No attempt was made to resolve a simple issue. Completely unprofessional and handled terribly. We won't be back. read more

Came here after work one night after the other "Italianish" place in town said they were closing early. We were sat down immediately and given water and those delicious focaccia cubes! Our server was attentive and friendly. I ordered the Red Fish as I've never had it before. The description of risotto on the menu sold it for me. The risotto is authentically "Al Dente" and full of flavor. The asparagus were tender. The redfish was a tad over cooked, but it was crispy and delicious! This dish is a winner! read more

Went here for the first time the other day, I thought it was a higher end restaurant from the outside but it was more laid back and family friendly once inside. It's downtown Georgetown so plan accordingly if you are going on a weekend because it does get busy. They have seating on the second floor balcony, outside, and inside. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. I really wanted to love the food but honestly thought it was just okay. I got the mushroom manicotti which was a smaller portion, it comes with 3 stuffed ones in a plate of pesto. The flavors were very mild and I wish the basil of the pesto came through more. We also got the cannoli which were nice and light and crunch but again the pistachio flavor wasn't really coming through. Overall I just wished the flavors were a bit stronger and more established. Came here for lunch, it wasn't bad, food just wasn't the best. The customer service was awesome! And the ambiance was good and well.

New location in Georgetown. You've gotta make a resy. We sat upstairs and it was cozy but bright. Not a low light vibe at all. You can tell they are figuring out the service, but it wasn't bad at all. The bread and oil dip was so good! The calamari was good especially the fried jalapeño but fried lemons was weird. Definitely get the meatballs, they were sooooo good! Oh, the wine is a bit pricy and not a lot of by the glass to choose from. Overall, it's a yes to more visits. I am excited to have Juliet in Georgetown! I was able to go to dinner yesterday at their grand/ soft opening! The food was as good as the other locations. The staff was super nice, which is on par with most restaurants on the square. Of courses it is the soft opening so there were some hiccups but remember to give some grace! My sister in law and I have been going to all of my favorite restaurants while she is here visiting. We finally managed to get to Juliet's today. The service was very good as it always is. I ordered shrimp scampi and we had stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. The restaurant wasn't very crowded, but it was 2 in the afternoon which I find is a great time to go out to eat. The mushrooms were very tasty. My shrimp scampi was delicious and I really enjoyed it. While we were eating I watched this guy tape something on the front door and then take a picture of it. I was very curious about this. When the door opened I saw a sign saying that the health department had closed the restaurant. I asked the staff why and they said they had a maintenance leak that hadn't been fixed yet. This would be fixed and they would be open on Friday. We were there on Thursday. I do hope they get it done quickly because the food is delicious. The service is fast and the place is clean. read more

The bad- it was cold enough to need a jacket while eating. We were seated and a half hour later noticed that other diners were being given bread and oil for dipping. We asked and got the bread. Our order got out of order somehow in the kitchen and it took 45 minutes to get our pizza. The pizza crust SEEMED like it was a premade crust. It was soft and not what I like in a crust. The tomatoes were not fully ripe. (It is January so what do you expect?) The good- the views on the second floor are nice. The toppings of the pizza other than the tomatoes were very good. They realized that it took a long time to get us served and went and checked on a "discount" for the long wait. The final result. We walked up to the manager and finally had to ask for our bill. They realized that this had not gone well and gave us the pizza at no charge. So- I am wiling to say that this simply went off the rails and probably is not normal. Thank you to the manager. read more
