We stopped in to purchase liquor and the owner was very sweet. She helped us choose some spirits we wanted to gift. The store seems to have mixers, liquor and lots of variety. Plenty of parking spots in the business complex to not have to stress about where to park. We will be coming here if we need more spirits. read more

Margo’s Liquor - Outside view - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Hutto, Texas

The more I come here, the better it is. Margo will actually listen to your suggestions and before you know it, your suggestion is implemented. She knows her stuff when it comes to regions, countries, etc. Great liquor selection and fantastic craft beer selection. She is also one of the few places in the Austin area to have the very hard to get Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA! read more

Margo’s Liquor - Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA from Margo's Liquor in Hutto - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Hutto, Texas

The lady at the front was super rude to me when I went in and after seeing some of these other comments, it's apparent she doesn't like masks or brown/black people. I would rather go to another liquor store where people won't give me a hard time because I'm a person of color. Eyeballing me as if I am doing something wrong..questioning my ID that's up to date and has literally nothing wrong with it. Note: she also has a blue lives matter flag on her front window. That is very telling when you add all of this up. read more

Best little liquor store in Hutto! Margo is awesome and my husband is addicted to the moonshine pickles she stocks. She has much of anything you would need in stock and prices are very reasonable. read more

Margo's is the only place I shop for my "spirits". First, I love supporting local and Margo is as local as they come. She is always greeting her customers by name and I've often stayed and chatted with her after shopping, just as many, many others do as well. Margo is very knowledgeable about all the different wines and alcohol she carries. She can give great recommendations. Margo also keeps me supplied in Abita beer and hurricane fixings for my annual Mardi Gras party. She's also ordered cases of my favorite cider, just for me! If you want great, personal service, I suggest you visit Margo's. Her place is like Cheers where she knows everyone's name! read more

Locally owned store. Margo is friendly and very helpful. If there is something she doesn't have that you want, she can special order for you. She is military friendly. We frequent her shop often and highly recommend her business. read more

While this place has a decent selection, and the owner is friendly, she acts like her establishment is on another planet and it's her way or the highway. She does not allow face coverings because she 'wants to see who she's selling to', as if face masks make us untrustworthy?? Additionally, my last visit to this store (about a month ago) she had someone sitting behind the counter with her, and they mocked a customer who asked them about the safety of them operating w/o face masks and PURPOSEFULLY COUGHED towards each other, w/o covering their mouths, talking about how they weren't worried about their germs cuz they live together... what about the rest of us? That are now having to breathe in all of whatever you just coughed out into OUR air while you won't let us wear masks? And we're even given a lecture if we use the hand sanitizer, which is provided for us to use btw, so what's the deal? I supported this store before the global pandemic, but just like thousands of other business owners, this public health catastrophe has brought out their true colors and shown us who we can't trust. Note: I have not been here since the last visit referenced, so she may have started complying to the city ordinance for masks, but that doesn't change her disrespect for people's personal safety needs or the complete disregard for her clientele's health prior, so my opinion will remained unchanged and based on my personal experiences. read more

The only business I have visited in months that is happily violating the city's face covering mandate. The woman working was not wearing a face covering and she was telling a customer also not wearing one that "it's your choice, we're all adults". The city ordinance disagrees. There are other, more responsible businesses to visit. Avoid this one. read more

I came in for the first time yesterday and Margo was just the sweetest and was very helpful. She is so welcoming! She has great selections/varieties. If there was something specific that I wanted to try but she didn't carry, she offered to take a look into it and get it ordered. Will be coming back. read more

Always so nice and respectful every time I go one. Margo is a staple of the community.

Margo's Liquor would not be what it is today if not for this lovely lady. She is honest hard working, respectful and kind. I have come to meet fellow neighbors while chatting with Margo. Support Hutto Local Business. read more

While the only liquor store around the area, Margo definitely steps it up a bit when it comes to her store, Common Spirits. The store is located in the Hutto Commons shopping center, convenient enough for most around the area. Now, I feel I'm really showing myself here righting a review for a liqour store right after completing one for the local bar in town but this place deserves it. Her selection has never let me down and special requests are handled perfectly. Margo's the type that will learn your name and even go above and beyond to help you any time you're in there. Need something special? Ask. I remember at one point she had 12 packs of cokes in the open and I asked if she could put a few in the cooler for us (I worked close by) to pick up at different times. Not a problem. She's able to get kegs, special orders, not so common beer and may even start stocking your special request. She's open to ideas, responds to those and even suggests her own ideas which are all decent. The place is decorated nicely, has a nice hometown feel and you just can't go wrong here. Definitely recommended. read more

I went into Margos for the first time and was pleasantly surprised - i was expecting a normal basic store. But this was not normal or basic. Margo was so sweet friendly and helpful, she helped me pick out the things I needed to try to make a cosmo for a friend!! She made me feel welcome and i want to come back for that reason. read more

The only place my husband and I will buy liquor! Margo has a great selection and is so helpful. I love that we have such a great local store to support! She is so sweet and genuine! Support Hutto, buy local! read more

They have 2 things here that make me happy, and plenty of both. Liquor and smiles. Margo is awesome, friendly, and has a crap load of various liquors that somehow fit into a fairly small space. Almost unnoticeable because it's tucked into a small corner of a strip mall in Hutto of all places. I don't have to go all the way to Round Rock for liquor when I want it then and there, winning! read more

Margo’s Liquor - the exterior of a liquor store - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Hutto, Texas

We love this place. We rented the Beer Kegs from Margo's. She was more competitive than SPEC's and the other store in town. Plus I would rather shop local. Our best man had no problems picking up the Kegs the day of the wedding. Everything went smoothly. We order a couple boxes of wine too. She helped me choose the right wine for our guest. Its nice to walk in the store and be greeted with a smile. read more

Daily I pass by at least 10 other liquor stores on my way home, but I will never go to any other liquor store. I shop there when I'm bringing alcohol to a party and I tell others to shop there if they are coming to my parties. Margo is by far the best of the best. Friendly, knowledgeable, and hilarious. I always know I'm going to leave her store smiling. Even the other customers are happy, smiling and laughing! She knows my husband and I by name and always recommends different things for me to try. So far she has hit the nail on the head every time when I want to try something new. Anytime she doesn't have something that you want (although rare), she will order it and then keep it stocked (I am shop here a few times a week) Bottom line: Great liquor store, great staff, great selection and a great experience each time I go! Keep it up Margo! read more

THE BEST!!! margo is such a great person too!

Excellent service. I got greeted as I walked in and I was asked if I needed any help. The staff was polite and joked with me as I joked with them. The place is clean and well stocked. I will be buying my liquor from Margo's for as long as I live in Hutto!!! read more

I absolutely love this place! My husband and I have been coming here for a while now. Margo has always treated us with respect and Phenomenal customer service. It's really a hometown feel every time we go to her store. She's loved and highly respected in the community. Anyone who would say different is either confused or fabricating a story. Thank you always making us feel welcomed at your store. We love you Margo!!! read more

Our first choice for adult beverages! Margo is a wonderful sassy Texas Gal with great product knowledge on everything she stocks. She's always ready to chat and visit, even if she's never met you before! She has a great selection for such a small shop, including mixers and tools (which is great for a last-minute pre-gathering stop'n'shop). We've been in the area for about three years now and Margo has won us over as loyal customers for life! read more

Margo's is top notch! Margo goes above and beyond to take care of her customers. The store is very clean and stocked. It's like visiting with a good friend every time I go in there! Margo is an amazingly hard working woman, very pleasant & personable to everyone who comes into Margo's Liquor! She goes out of her way to help you find what you're looking for and she has very fair prices. She is a small business owner and has the right to post signs regarding masks & gloves on her door, just as all the other businesses do..it's incredibly sad that some want to write bad reviews just because they do not like her policies. Margo is very kind and I'll continue to shop at Margo's Liquor as well as refer others. read more

Margo's is a staple in Hutto. She is involved in the community and is friendly and welcoming. If there's anything she doesn't have in stock, she tries to get it for ya. Her store has been around for 20 years and we'll continue to support her. You can't go wrong here! read more

Common Spirits is the best little liquor store. Just around the corner and very convenient to most everyone in Hutto. Margo is the greatest and is always very helpful, always takes the time to help you find what you need, and to help you find just the perfect thing when you don't know what you need. She also always has the most perfect limes! Her prices are great and worth not having to drive10-15 minutes away to go to a bigger liquor store. If you have never been in Margo's place it is definitely worth your time to take a minute to stop by. read more

Came in for the first time today, got to chat with Margo quickly - lovely woman! Lovely liquor store!! We will be back!

I was harassed by wearing a brand new mask in her store! She asked me how long I have been wearing it.. I told her I just got it out of the box.. then she asked how long will I wear it... told her after I leave her store it will go in the trash.... then she said, I do not want anyone wearing a mask in my store... there were another couple in her store with no mask.. she was behind a plastic protection between her and her customers. She was adamant that I remove my mask... Margo is an idiot, I have spent a lot of money there... love her sister-in law...,,,. Will spend my money on chain stores going forward! read more
