I was in town for 1 day on business (driving through) and stopped in here as it looked as though they had a good bourbon selection. I was pleasantly surprised at the selection, the prices and how helpful the owner was. They had specials up front that he was providing samples of. I could tell after speaking with them and seeing the super special bottles behind the counter that if you are a repeat customer they have allocated bottles that they will sell you. I'm not sure when I'll be back in the area again but I will definitely stop by if I am. Great selection and great prices!! A must visit. read more

Went in tonight looking for a sweeter dessert bourbon to sip on. Bought Penelope Havana and was charged $149 plus tax. Total Wine has it for $72 according to their website. Should have checked while I was there but trying to support local but over a 100% markup is too steep. Still a great store and I'll be back just more aware of pricing. read more

I have to say I really appreciate the new owner and the selection at Avery Ranch Wine & Spirits. Nikhil has been super professional and accomodating in any wants/needs that I have, even some of the hard to find liquors like E.H. Taylor. I've spent some time in conversation with Nikhil and he really wants to make sure our community is satisfied and has dedicated a lot of time in his craft. I used to love this liquor store. They were so helpful, showing you where everything was, having a wonderful conversation. We went in there today and we were looking a specific brandy. The gentleman that was there, just pointed us and said "the brandies are over there". then, we asked about eggnog "the two kind are over there". We were the only ones in the store. Ordered through doordash. Placed an order for Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream. The store called me and said they didn't have it. The told me they could substitute whiskey. I'm sorry this is not suitable substitution. Straight whiskey? No. They then told me they could get another bourbon cream and I told them that was fine. He then proceeded to tell me they'd substitute for Baileys.... YALL. You're kidding right? I told them that was still not a suitable substitution. The man on the phone told me "well it is a cream liqueur". GOOD JOB! I had NO IDEA! Correct, sir...but it is whiskey. I told him no and that I wanted BOURBON CREAM. Any brand. Man, this little shop just plain rocks. I've only been in a few times but each time they have had what I was looking for and they were extremely helpful. Typically, shops like this that are smaller will suffer from a lack of selection and the higher prices. Usually the price is worth it just for the personal service, but here, I haven't found much difference in the prices. You just get a great selection, nice service and convenient location. In most cases a liquor store is a liquor store is a liquor store. Yeah, there are big one and there are small ones, but I've never been to a great one, until now. Was greeted immediately upon entering the store, as was everyone who entered after me while I was in the store. Was there for a specific whiskey I was buying as a gift. Matissa was excellent help and she offered tasting samples from their sampling selection. Was turned on to a great Scotch as well as a flavored vodka that I would have never tried. It was so good I bought that as well. Matissa was also more than glad to put together the gift bag with tissue paper of the bottle of Aberlour A'Bunadh. And was told about regular tasting that they have on Friday and Saturday nights. They also have some great limited/high-end whiskeys as well, like Whistle Pig's Boss Hog. read more

Customer Service Fail; When I pulled up the customer service rep was in front of the building smoking with the girl from the cleaning store next store. I expect more than a convenience store experience here. As I got out the clerk said to her, "It never fails. Every time I light up a cigarette another customer shows up." Not a huge deal, but still isn't the style of customer service I expect from anywhere other than a 7/11. read more

Great place to get booze. Not your average local liquor store, some of the staff really know their stuff and give you some great suggestions on new things to try outside of the usual names you're probably used to drinking. For instance today I learned Don Julio was not real tequila and was suggested a real tequila that was way better than Don Julio and cheaper at that. read more

I have come here on several occasions. Very good selection and very clean and well organized inside. My primary complaint is with the middle-aged woman with the foreign accent and headband who always has to make sarcastic remarks whenever I come to the store. I don't know if she is intentionally being rude or just flirting in her own weird way but it is deterring me from returning.
