Amazing experience here! Staff was amazing and they even have goats and donkeys to feed while enjoying a wine or drink! They have a small section of outdoor kids toys which was fun! The atmosphere is amazing and so pretty! Check out their wine club!! Definitely worth it!

Cute donkeys and funny goats! We have been coming here for years and they always pour a glass of sweet sweet relaxation. Make this your weekend routine. Through the years it only gotten better as has the wine ;). Thank you guys!

Such a fun winery & distillery! Festively decorated & live music too! We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon & relaxed and enjoyed the sights & sounds. Super friendly staff was happy to explain in detail all of the wine & whiskey choices. This was my first time sampling Texas wines & I was not disappointed! If you're looking for a fun afternoon, give it a try!

Excellent little winery between Austin and another location we frequent. They have a great wine club deal, little gift store with neat stuff, and a pizzeria that we have yet to been able to enjoy because it's only open on Saturdays. But, come get you some

Fun winery and distillery. This unplanned stop was was totally with it. Nice wine and glass prices were very affordable at about $8. Staff were incredibly sweet. I hope we can visit again soon.

A tasting of the sweet white. Nice, but save room for the sparkling wines, which are excellent.

A decent spot to stop and try a couple of the locally produced wines. Another spot north of the Colorado that goes for the 'homey' approach to wine making and serving. Pretty, family friendly atmosphere on the outside, with a photo-ready spot next to a life-sized fiberglass mule. (To my surprise the mule does not have a name yet.) Inside, it looks like someone's house that's been converted to a tasting room. That's a net plus, and there's a nice gift shop, but hopefully the management will get rid of the bright and ugly banks of fluorescent lights! Service was fast, but the ladies behind the counter profess little knowledge about the wine and are surprisingly brusque, even while serving relatively few customers. I've noticed this same critique from a couple other Yelp Reviews, making me wonder if this is just a personal style of theirs that's off-putting to some. Regardless, it's oddly out of place in such a friendly area as Central Texas. The wines are a mixed bag. A chardonnay made from California grapes tastes surprisingly sharp and 'raw', but that may be the intent since it wasn't aged in oak. The sweet blush is passable at best. However, the sparkling cranberry is excellent. Worth a visit if you're in the area, but save room for the vastly superior Pillar Bluff and Pilot's Knob fare. Some tips: 1) Watch for the turnoff from 183, it's pretty sharp and takes a downward jog! 2) The flights, which run $10 for 4 tastings, are half off on Wednesdays and Thursdays. An excellent bargain all around.

The kids ruining the ambiance and are abusive towards the animals. I have been here many times and more recently the half pints have been coming out of the woodwork. I will no longer be participating in the wine club after this visit.

OMG! My husband & I are making a road trip to Marble Falls during Covid & made a detour to this amazing winery! The service is 5 star! Allison took amazing care of us & Dan, the owner, gave us the history and was very congenial! Besides wine they distill and age vodka, whiskey, and bourbon. I did wine tasting and my husband did whiskey tasting & of course, we bought wine & vodka to take home with their signature wine glasses!! We so enjoyed our visit to the Thirsty Mule Winery! It is a must see & a place to stock up on all your wine needs! Not to mention their distilled and aged vodka, bourbon, & whiskey!! Check them out! It is worth your time!!

Let me tell you, I've been to so many wineries in the area surrounding Austin and this one by far is a true gem. Do not judge this place by its exterior. Immediately when we came inside the tasting room we were met with a warm welcome. The menu here is deep and they have something for everyone here. Saturday's they have wood fired pizzas which we were told people come out here just for that. We will definitely be back for it! We are in the middle of our tasting as I write this review and already I'm blown away by the Cabernet they have here. Beautiful and oaky; my first sip I just know I'm in trouble with this one! The Tempranillo has a wonderful nose to it and is nice and clean, easily could drink a bottle of this in a sitting. The Tannat was just lovely. Here are the stand outs though that we were pleasantly surprised with: Sweet Dreams, the port wine which is absolutely delicious and the Sparkling Muscadine (Sassy Mule) which is dangerously good! Fun fact, the Sparkling Muscadine is made with a local wild grape. Amazing hospitality, zero pretentiousness, incredible wines, please visit this place!!! You're in for a real treat here.

Super friendly service and great wines. A nice place to hang out outside or in, and good pizza on Saturdays!!

Had dinner with friends at The Vineyard at Florence Saturday. Started with drinks at the bar…read more Friendly service and the kind of atmosphere that you expect at a high end establishment. Knob Creek rocks, Elijah Craig rocks, a Ranch Water (a bit too sweet), and a classic Italian Aperol Spritz. Dinner on the patio starting with a smoked bacon appetizer followed by a wedge salad. Sugared bacon was delicious. Wedge didn't have the salad core removed which was a bit disappointing. Shared a coal-fired Margarita pizza with chicken added. Pizza was cooked perfectly and was delicious with a healthy amount of ingredients, including the excellent blend of cheeses. Our waiter Peter was very professional, friendly and informative. Definitely recommend the Vineyard for an upscale night out with excellent ambiance featuring a Mediterranean decor. Will go back.

It looked pretty, but nothing came together, and the biscuit was very dry. We also tried the Cuban sandwich--way too fatty and overly thick, hard to enjoy. The loaded croissant, however, was very good, and the fries were solid. The artichoke dip had little to no flavor, and the bread wasn't grilled like the menu said. The atmosphere was beautiful--you feel like you're in a villa. The country drive out there is nice, and the grounds are gorgeous. Drinks were on point and the wine was good, though pricey for a small pour. Our waiter was friendly but not very attentive. Overall, probably won't be back. We've had much better experiences at wineries in Fredericksburg. I don't mind paying for an expensive meal if it's worth it--this just wasn't. Very disappointed.
