Crudo
Arcadia W.

Such a lovely dining experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This beautiful restaurant was very romantic and had delicious food to match.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is available through valet or self parking or street parking. I really loved how the menu was concise and not too overwhelming. My group and I ordered a lot of different plates so there was a good variety of things. Started off strong with my cucumber spritz which was absolutely divine. I also had the oysters, Crudo, the duck cigars and the sea bream. All of those items were exquisitely prepared and had really good flavor. For dessert, we had the eclairs and the chocolate mousse and the Madeleines which were served warm with whipped cream. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a beautiful place if you want to have a quiet dinner and great food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was ok, it did take a while for our main entrees to come out but we were made aware of the time before hand.

I really enjoyed my experience at the restaurant. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. The food was also very good, and I loved everything I tried. The beef was delicious, and the sweet potatoes were especially good. My only small disappointment was the cocktail, which was quite small. Other than that, everything was great!

"My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite" - Juliet, This was a last minute dinner choice after my host's first pick was full. Juliet is a French inspired Michelin new discovery restaurant in Culver City. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Gorgeous interior with professional, courteous service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The wine list is mostly French with a good number of choices on the menu listed as sold out. Found a Nuits St George Burgundy though at a decent price that turned out to be a stunner. We shared oysters that were mostly Washington, but since we took the last ones they threw on some Baja ones too. Both types were excellent with a lovely salmon roe sauce. Entrees were shared and the lamb was excellent albeit the olive tapenade was too noticeable. The duck cigars (taquitos?) were the star and I could have happily devoured more of these. The risotto was excellent too. Wished there was a bread service but maybe there was a paid option that I missed. Wished the lamb had some accompaniments too. I drove home and then realized I was still hungry! [[HIGHLIGHT]]But the food tasted excellent, the service was top notch, and the room was lovely.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Recommended!

Came with a big group so my expectations were managed. I tried the whipped cod dip, chicken liver tartlet, sliced hiramasa, endives, hamachi collar, boneless half chicken and madelines. Nothing really stood out and service was sooooo slowwww, but generally tasty food. 3.5 stars.

My review is actually for "the petit Juliet' matcha & cofee: [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is absolutely divine! I fell in love with the ambiance, the music, the energy emanating from the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I randomly stumbled upon this place after leaving Tia Health right next door. I got their cinnamon (le cannelle) coffee and I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back for it again.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Juliet was a beautifully designed restaurant with modern rustic vibes and lots of natural light. It was a nice atmosphere with light background music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was great. He was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us recommendations. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to atmosphere or service. The food was rather bland both in taste and looks. There was no color in the food; in fact, they all look pretty similar. The same can be said for the taste - they all tasted similar and nothing really jumped out in terms of flavor. Given the high prices for the dishes, we expected much more. To be transparent, we ordered six dishes, one mocktail, one cocktail, and one beer, all of which totaled about $300. Note that they also add a 4% fee to every check.

My wife and I first had dinner at Juliet last summer, and from that very first visit, we knew it was a special place. The experience left such a lasting impression on us that when it came time to choose a venue for our wedding reception. No questions,we wanted to celebrate at Juliet. From beginning to end, the team made us feel so well taken care of. The service was incredible, and everyone went above and beyond to help make our celebration feel seamless and unforgettable. We are truly grateful for the care, attention, and kindness they showed us throughout the process. The food was outstanding and is still something our family and friends talk about. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is just as memorable, the decor, the design, and even the thoughtful details like the plates and glassware all come together to create such a beautiful dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you to everyone at Juliet for helping make one of the most important days of our lives so special. We'll always have wonderful memories here and look forward to celebrating many more milestones with you in the future.

Went to Juliet with my fiance recently and it was magnifique! Upon entering, you will notice that this restaurtant has a unique french flare according to my fiance due to its open glass doors and the decor. All the foods we ordered were amazing! I highly recommend the duck cigars and their madeleines. While Culver City is difficult to park in, I would recommend parking in the business neighborhood around the corner.

Juliet has the polish of a French brasserie, the ease of a patio restaurant, and a menu where pretty much everything feels worth ordering. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The room is beautiful, the service handled our group really well, and the no-corkage fee makes it an especially good call for a celebratory dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Had a lovely brunch here with one of my best friends for her birthday. The service was amazing even offered to take a picture of us at the end of we liked (& did not disappoint) haha. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance of this restaurant is beautiful. From the entrance to the bar to the bathroom there is something so stunning to look at in every corner. The details are just chefs kiss.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now even though we could hardly pronounce the items on the menu because it was in French, I am only speaking on the crepes because that is what we had ordered for brunch, they were delicious very sweet but the perfect portion. The drinks were also DELICIOUS. A must try with the girls. Would love to come back and try their dinner menu.

Came to Juliet for my love and mine's anniversary. Dinner was spectacular! We have considered coming in to eat on multiple occasions but have shied away from Juliet's smaller menu too many times. Boy, was that a mistake. I am so glad we finally dined here because everything we experienced far surpassed my expectations. Our server Amy was an absolute gem; she was warm, knowledgeable of the menu, and guided our experience with poise and elegance. Our hostess was sweet and welcoming, wishing us a happy anniversary as well which we appreciated. The drinks and food were incredible! Literally everything we had was divine. We loved the oysters, Poisson cru, squash risotto, chicken, and steak au poivre. The mousse dessert was rich and hit the spot perfectly as a finisher. Their Kitchen throws down!! The Bordeaux by the glass wine paired well with the entrees and the mon courer and le sage cocktails were delish. We both were so pleasantly surprised with how amazing everything was. Would highly recommend dining here for an epic meal and fun night out. Thanks Juliet for the amazing experience and great hospitality!

A trendy French restaurant with beautiful food, that's just okay tasting. The scallops and the endives were the best parts of the meal, everything else was not worth it. Their desserts are definitely better than the food. The service and ambiance are excellent, but overall I can't say their prices match the quality of food. Chicken liver tartlet - 2/5, the flavor is not bad, but I've had better liver mousses. The white, buttery crumbles are not the best topping, they were messy and not appealing to look at. Endives - 4/5, I really enjoyed the endives. The peppery mustard seeds dressing went really well with the blue cheese. Duck cigars - 1/5, very disappointing. They were freshly deep fried, but lacking in any kind of duck flavor. Scallops - 5/5, seared to perfection and so decadent in a buttery sauce topped with lots of chives and trout roe Risotto - 3/5, had a lot of potential. The mushrooms on top were grilled well, but overall it was just super salty so I couldn't eat very much of it. Madelines - 5/5, WOW these brown butter madelines were fresh and so soft Eclairs - 4/5, the chocolate sea salt is super rich and the yuzu poppy is so light and refreshing!

I don't know how anyone could rate this place poorly--it's amazing! I had such a wonderful dinner here and am excited to come back. It's a nice place and our server was very friendly. We started off with delicious mocktails and went on to the whipped cod dip appetizer. we also had the chicken liver tart which was one of the best bites of the evening, the duck cigars, the mushroom risotto, and finally the madeleines. can't wait to come back!

Unfortunately, I think the vibe is completely off with this type of food, and I think it's hurting their customer base (I.e, there's a sports watching day, and live DJ?, but the food is definitely more for upscale vibes). I also didn't know they have a rotating menu with different chefs, so when I came in craving for something like steak frites and find out the don't have it even though their sample menu lists it on their website, it kind of throws my mood a little. Moreover, their wine list is not extensive considering it's a wine bar, and wine mentioned in their name :) Anyways I've digressed. With this special menu, I ordered the scallop tostada and maitake taco. The scallops were very fresh, and it was a very well balanced dish. I would totally order this again! The maitake mushroom was exploding with flavors, though I find the sauce a little too salty for my taste. If I came here just for food, I'd come back and try new things!

I happened to be making an early morning delivery down the street at Allo and had always been curious about Wally's $39 lunch prix fixe menu. Honestly, it sounded almost too good to be true. I walked in right when they opened at 11:32 a.m. and grabbed a seat at the bar. My bartender and server, Shaline A., absolutely made my day. She was warm, welcoming, attentive, and provided genuine hospitality from start to finish. I started with the Caesar salad (with anchovies). Personally, I think a traditional Caesar should always have anchovies they're part of what makes it so special. For my entrée, I had the dorade fish], and it was beautifully prepared. Every bite reflected the quality and attention to detail that Wally's is known for. To finish, I enjoyed the cheese plate featuring a truffle cheese that day. Let me tell you... A+! It was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. From the service to the food and the overall experience, Wally's exceeded my expectations. The caviar omakase is the must order thing here. Everything is very small bites, but if you are mostly there for drinks then à la carte is a good option. The omakase was fantastic - nice sized portions of caviar, paired with thoughtful items like a mini lobster roll, a salmon burger, and even ice cream. The drinks are also delightful - you can taste the notes of every ingredient and nothing was too overpowering or unbalanced. But the service is by far the main reason we'll be back. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, on top of being knowledgeable and presenting the menu in a well practiced way. They made this birthday dinner so special and went above and beyond. They do automatically add gratuity but I would've tipped more than that if possible. We ended up at the Maybourne Bar in the Maybourne hotel, a solid B+ lobby bar that I'd visit again under similar circumstances. The space was attractive but the vibe was strange, if not uncomfortable. Just weirdly bright lighting and a different crowd from the usual L.A. bar scene (hotel, Beverly Hills). It was pretty quiet at 10:00 on a Saturday night, and we were able to grab seats at the bar. Service was fast and polite. We ordered a Midas Touch and a Big in Japan, both decent cocktails that cost a full $30 apiece. The Midas Touch was a colorful spicy margarita with El Tesoro Maybourne Edition Reposado, Empirical Ayuuk, Grand Marnier Louis Alexandre, saffron, lemon, and honey. Big in Japan was a Gold Rush variation with Hibiki Harmony, sudachi honey, lemon, sansho pepper, and yuzu bitters. There are better, more interesting cocktail bars all over L.A., but I'd recommend the Maybourne Bar if you're staying at the hotel or otherwise looking for an upscale bar in downtown Beverly Hills. You can get food, too, though most of it seems to involve caviar.
