Drink Menu May 2026

Visited on a Friday around 5:45pm with a friend, restaurant interior was full but we were lucky and got the last outdoor table. If you decide to try to walk in definitely go early or try to snag a reservation before visiting. Drinks: Strawberry Amaro - pretty good, nice lightly sweetened, subtle strawberry notes, grabbed this with soda for a lovely bubbly low abv drink Saison - solid, nice subtle citrus notes, Food: Grilled Arrowhead Cabbage- really good, great subtle char, cabbage was tender, loved the crunchy and nutty pumpkin seeds, the chili butter added a bit of heat and the gremolata added some fresh herby lemony note Spicy Ronny - solid, a bit oily for my taste, crust was crispy with a well baked bottom and a toasty flavor, pepperoni was excellent crispy cups that were very flavorful with a nice heat, tomato sauce was bright and fresh with rich tomato flavor, wish the crust had a bit more flavor didn't pick up any tangy sourdough notes, maybe it needed a touch more salt something felt lacking Service was fine, water bottle and glasses were provided when we got seated, drinks and apps were served pretty promptly. Staff is not the most attentive but given how busy it was and being seated outside understandable. They did ask if we wanted fresh plates between apps and pizza which was nice. Pizza did take quite a bit of time before we got our order maybe 25-30min after we were seated. So be prepared to wait. Overall glad I finally got to try Jules, solid pizza but wouldn't go out of my way to visit lots of other great spots in SF. Arrive early if you want to try to walk in, seemed like they do quite a bit of takeout as well if you aren't able to snag a

Finally able to more easily get reservations so got a 5:15 table on Friday, and by 5:30 the restaurant was full! Small corner table, cute interior, and great staff! I have to say I do get the hype, I definitely tasted the sourdough on the pizza. We had the fun guy - wow 9/10 for me. It was delicious, crispy, flavour bomb! The crust was SO GOOD. Only comment is it's very oily not sure if it's truffle oil but it was dripping out I had to squeeze some out. Friend had the Satriale special - same comment, FLAVOUR BOMB! This one is neat, and they said that the crust was a bit more burnt and dry than the other but still gave it a 9/10. I totally understand what people say when they say it's a bit salty but it wasn't overwhelmingly salty. You need to pay extra for sauces we had the green sauce and the chilli crisps. Honestly, I don't think it's necessary to get the sauces, especially because you have to pay for them. The pizzas are already so flavourful that even the sauces taste delicious I just don't think it paired well. Maybe with the ones that we got maybe would be better with the margarita pizza. I'll say it again, I understand the hype really delicious pizza.

I'm going to say it. I thought Jules was overhyped. It was so hyped that I went in with extremely high expectations. The pizza was quite good but just not what others set it up to be in my mind. The menu rotates seasonally which is fun. We wanted some food to eat during the Muni Bar Crawl on a Friday night. There's no way we could get in with no reservation, so we ordered online from their website for pickup/takeout which was perfect. We drank and walked around and it was ready when they said it would be. Service was very accommodating. Named for the grandmother of the owner (he's an Oakland native!), the decor and interior are meant to be cozy like a grandmother's house. It certainly is homey and cozy, but also because it's trendy and dimly-lit, it feels romantic too. We split the - Satriale Special ($27, gochujang vodka sauce, mozzarella, pecorino, hot italian sausage, pickled goat horn peppers, green garlic, spring onion, sesame crumble). - Spicy Ronny($25, caciocavallo, pepperoni, parm, ajika chili flake, calabrian chili). The Spicy Ronny was indeed spicy, and quite salty. Ingredients were high quality, but I felt like the spice was too overpowering. The Satriale Special flavors were bold, spicy, and had some umami. Overall? Will be back once the hype comes down. It was very good pizza, just not worth the hype (the hype is very high.)

Not worth the hype IMO - maybe too overhyped. so had high expectations. Food was extremely regular. Pizza came out a little burnt. One of them a half blackened crust? Plus we waited for a while before pizza was ready. Had looked forward to the unique pizzas but meh. Glad to try, but sadly no need to go back. You can go elsewhere!

An amazing thin-crust pizza spot for unique and satisfying combinations! Went in November (oops very belated review) but still worth writing about. Our party of 4 came ready to try as many vegetarian options as possible. Here's what we got and my rating, lowest to highest: * Dr. Robotnik: 8/10 - loved the eggplant an tomato-y sauce, solid pizza. * Spicy Ronny (vegetarian): 8.5/10 - hot honey is a must. Was expecting more of a kick but yummy and savory. * Broccoli & a 40: 9.2/10 - like eating broccoli cheddar soup on a pizza. Would've never thought of it but obsessed with the salt, the crunch, and the flavor. * Fun Guy: 9.5/10: tastes like mushroom masala on a pizza. The cheesy umami base coupled with the tang of the tamarind sauce made it reminiscent of many cultures' best mushroom dishes. The pizza crust was so light, but slightly burnt as can happen with sourdough crust! We also got the sauce sampler (the most memorable one being the "that green sauce", which I would order solo next time). The burnt sesame and date ice cream was good, but I didn't find the smoky aftertaste appealing. Service was friendly and prompt - I am always so grateful for servers who give honest takes. Would say overall 4.5, but giving a 5 bc the top two pizzas were delicious!

Solid 4 stars for this thin pizza. Hella big love for the cesar salad, its was flawless! We definitely enjoyed 1 of the 2 pizzas better the one pictured was our least fav we didn't realize it wasn't going to have cheese lol. Simple menu with good service and a cute/ trendy setting. Sounds wild but I loved their bathroom vibe!

Jules has been on top of my husband's list for awhile. For someone who can't tolerate dairy too well, he sure loves pizza! Getting a reservation here is possible with a little strategy. Reservations are available online and opens up 14 days in advance. The tip is to go online at midnight 14 days before the day you want to go and book a spot. Upon checking in, we were immediately greeted with a "Happy Anniversary" by the host/server. Service throughout was consistent and good even though they were super busy. Our server forgot to bring out a root beer my husband ordered so they gave it to him on the house. We started with the crab louie toast followed by the pepperoni (Spicy Ronny) pizza and the mushroom (Fun Guy) pizza. The mushroom pizza had drizzles of tamarind sauce which provided a different twist and unique taste. Everything was yum! I look forward to trying other pizzas there!

I truly wanted to love this place given all the recent hype surrounding it. I was super excited to get a reservation and couldn't wait to go!! Unfortunately, I do feel like the food left something to be desired and the service wasn't the most friendly, so maybe they are still working themselves out since they are new! We came as a group of six to celebrate my friend's birthday and ordered practically everything on the menu. For our non-pizza dishes, we got the charred arrowhead cabbage, baja yellowtail crudo, devilish half chicken, and Caesar salad. For pizzas, we got the marone, spicy ronny, and satriale special with the sauce flight. The satriale special and sauce flight were good for sure, but overall I'd say the appetizers stood out more than the pizza. Nothing about the pizzas really struck me as uniquely good, they felt very much like any other decent pizza you can get in the city. We also felt that one of our waitresses was super rude and seemed bothered when we asked her to explain the sauces in the sauce flight. I might consider coming back once the hype dies down to see if it's better. The ambiance was definitely nice and the cute Pizza Hut signage in the bathroom was fun.

If you love chewy doughy pizzas, Jules is for you. I came here when the hype was high last summer (got a weeknight reservation), and really enjoyed everything I ate. The ambiance is cozy and cute inside, and you can watch the team fire up the ovens for their pizzas. We got an app that was like a bacon bread with a tasty butter, and the stars of the show were the pizzas of course. I really liked the Fun-guy pizza, which had such a fun umami kick from the dollops of black garlic on each slice. The spicy ronny was also delicious with hot honey. We also got the hot honey and chimichurri pairing sauces (both of which are overpriced but good complements to the two pizzas we got). I really liked the texture of the sourdough pizza, and would love to come back for more!

Is it worth the hype? Sure. Were the dipping sauces the star of the meal? Yes. Finally snagged a reservation and enjoyed my meal. The pizza was great. My favorite was the pepperoni although the mushroom pizza was also very good. The service was meh probably because they were pretty busy. However, not turned off and will definitely come back.

Back again for a dinner for 2. They switched their reservation system from Resy to Sevenrooms so I was able to make a reservation a few weeks in advance. Their sesame semolina potato buns were served warm and came with an amazing whipped butter. The buns were nice and pillowy. The charred arrowhead cabbage was flavorful and delicious. The Spicy Ronny pizza was also tasty! They did not skim on the pepperoni. It was a bit on the oily side because of all the pepperoni but we enjoyed the pizza. We also got some hot honey on the side which was nice to dip the crust in. For dessert, we got the purple sweet potato pie ice cream! It was so good! The sweet potato flavor was mild but the graham cracker crumble and marshmallow was a great combination! Pretty good meal overall! Also I really like their bathroom. It's clean and very moodie and cute! Lots of red and white and they have a very cool stained glass Pizza Hut lamp.

First time at Jules. Make sure you have a reservation or you come early before the restaurant opens. Otherwise it'll be tough to get seated. The restaurants doesn't fit a whole lot of people and most tables are saved for reservations. We got there at 4:30 so 30 mins before opening and we were first to get seated at the counter. The line started to form 20 mins before the restaurant opened on a Friday night. So just be prepared or you will be turned away. My husband and I came here solely for their pizza. Ordered the special and the fun guy pizza. Both pizza were delicious on its own but taste even better with the hot honey (not too hot), miso ranch, and the green sauce. These are sour dough pizzas which are different from your typical pizza dough. It was hard to rate the pizzas because there were so much to love about it but also the pizza was a bit burnt. I think with sourdough, it's hard to perfect cooking without burning the dough. So many of the crust and the bottom of the pizza were inedible. I had to rip off the black burnt pieces off the pizza. We were able to finish both pizzas but that's because many of the crust was ripped and tossed. I hope Jules can work on this, I'd really like to come back to try some of their other pizzas but not if they're unable to fix the temperature and burnt pizzas. I'd rate their pizzas a 3.5 /5. Also ordered the sweet potato pie ice cream which was good and perfectly sweet. Husband ordered 2 beer. They have a decent wine and beverage selection as well.

Was excited to try out the new hot pizza place but just wasn't that impressed. Signed up for reservation notifications a couple days beforehand and got notified the day before for availability. There was a line to enter for both reservations and walk ins. Seems a bit inefficient but the wait wasn't too bad. We ordered the fun guy, the cabbage, and the special. The special was our favorite of the three, but the bottom of the crust was severely burnt. Fun guy wasn't too fun, I would recommend more mushrooms to bring the flavor out. Cabbage was fine but probably wouldn't order again. The sourdough crust is what makes this pizza delicious but presentation and toppings could be better. I'll just have to deal with sf having mediocre pizza compared to nyc in the meantime.

The entire pizza had shifted in the box, slices were folded over, grease was splattered all over the lid, and it was no longer hot by the time it arrived. What made this even more frustrating was the amount paid for delivery. In addition to the food cost, I paid a $3.99 delivery fee, a $5.70 service fee, and tipped the driver $5.50. For that kind of added cost, I think it's reasonable to expect the pizza to arrive level, intact, and hot. The restaurant is about 4 miles from my house, and it appeared the delivery was made by bicycle, which may explain why the pizza ended up tilted and damaged during transport. I can't say that for certain, but something clearly went wrong between the restaurant and my door. The pizza itself may have been good fresh out of the oven, but the delivery experience completely ruined it.
