I have been coming to Juice Stop for many years. This is one of the best places to go for many reasons: Everything they have is very affordable, fresh and tasty. The service is professional, quick and persistent. They're open until very late, the place is very clean, there's always music, the customers are very professional as well as friendly. They have reopened the location and it is a lot more modern than before. The food is great! Every time we come here we definitely get the German sausage sandwich, their specialty mini pizza and sour plums and cherries. There's street parking or you can use the parking lot that is shared with Carl's Jr. Once you walk in, you order in the front and sit wherever that's open. The only reason I had to give 4 stars is because every time we go our wait time for food to come out is so long that I debate calling in and ordering ahead of time to dine in. Other than that, the variety of food and their taste is amazing! My cousins brought me here and told me it was a good place. I ordered a faloudeh and almost got sick. They drenched it with lemon juice it was literally spilling from the bowl. Dining here was an exercise in masochism, and I will explain why, but first let me start with a brief story of how I came upon this place. I was craving a smoothie and this is literally the only smoothie shop in a 1.5 mile radius of where I work. ...okay that wasn't much of a story. Moving on. I stopped by and ordered a forest smoothie (strawberries, orange, and a bunch of other fruits I can't recall...we'll just call it "everything") and a pastrami sandwich, no cheese. I am very hard to please when it comes to smoothies - if it's made from a mix I'll complain that it's not organic, if it's made from fresh fruit I will bitch about seeds. That's the case here: seeds galore. The flavor was fantastic but it was so difficult to drink! And as I reached the bottom of my cup I was left with an odd sludgey mixture of fruit-foam that was not pleasing at all. While the flavor was yummy I don't know that I'd come back here for a smoothie. The quest to find a smoothie place I can visit on my lunch break continues. So why four stars? The sandwich. The sandwich was unexpectedly delicious! Good meat, good veg, good pickles. The best part by far was the hot sauce though. I was presented with three bottles: ketchup, mayo and hot sauce. Completely disregarding the first two I doused each bite with this amazing nectar of the gods. So, so amazing. I know I've tasted it before but I can't place where/when. I noticed the other reviews don't mention the hot sauce so maybe this is a common condiment that I'm just not used to yet, whose charms I have not grown immune to, but oh my goodness. I want to bathe in it, I want it in my veins! If they bottled it, I'd buy it and put it on EVERYTHING. of course, because I'm an idiot, I disregarded the fact that I burnt the crap out of my mouth yesterday leaving the roof a scarring mass of agony. Between the sharp roll crust, jalapeño pepper, and the aforementioned sauce, I was in a good deal of pain through the meal - but it was entirely worth it. read more
