I recently visited Juice Stop after an exhausting hike, craving a refreshing and satisfying treat. I decided to try one of their milkshake, Oreo shake, expecting the rich, thick consistency that a good milkshake should have--something creamy, indulgent, and perfectly balanced between the sweetness of the ice cream and the distinct flavor of Oreo. A good milkshake should have that perfect balance of texture and richness, where you can savor each sip, leaving you refreshed but still feeling like you've had a dessert treat. Unfortunately, what I received was not that. The shake was watery and milky, lacking the satisfying thickness I was hoping for. Even though I was incredibly thirsty, the taste just didn't hit the spot--it felt like I was drinking flavored milk rather than a proper milkshake. I had chosen this place based on its good ratings, so I was quite disappointed. However, if you're someone who enjoys a more milky and sweet shake, this could be the spot for you. Super busy at work yesterday. So Its time to refuel and decided to make myself some carrot juice. Apparently, carrots enhance the overall function of our immune system, they're full of vitamins - A,B ,C ,E,K Lutein, Lycopene, Magnesium, and Beta-carotene just to name a few. This is new to me but Carrots are supposedly known as the "anti-cancer kings" of the veggie world. The Beta-carotene can break down the protective mucous membrane around Cancer cells and just one single Carrot contains twice the RDA of vitamin A. So... Two bad experiences at this place. I came to order one of their juice blends & it just tasted poorly. Too much ice & too little fruit. Second time It was horrible service. Just beyond rude. We tried ordering and the woman behind the register was maybe having a bad day, but she was so unprofessional. She wouldn't even look at us, on her phone, and then she just walked to the back left us standing there. After waiting, we asked for a menu. I am VERY disappointed in these people. i ordered a large juice blend and they gave me a small. When I politely reminded the man that he gave the wrong size, he took it back, poured it into a blender, added ice, and then gave it back to me. he charged me more than $7.00. I can get a burger meal for this. No extra fruit was squeezed, just a watered down product. Shame on you... you are just in it for the money, does no one care about good service anymore. you lost a customer today and I would have been loyal for years. I don't usually write reviews but every time I go to "Juice Stop" with family or friends, I tell to myself that I should come to this place more often and it indeed worth the 22 Miles drive. This place is very casual and yet warm, welcoming and cozy. The music is nice and never interferes with your conversation. I love their speciality pizza, beef tongue sandwich and greek gyro sandwich. I ended up getting the Fig and Pig Panini ($16), which was absolutely excellent, featuring slow-roasted pork, white cheddar cheese, and sweet pieces of fig and fig jam on thin, perfectly crispy piece of thin, toasted ciabatta bread. A perfect combination of sweet and savory, this was as good as previous Yelp reviews suggest, but was tragically quite small (see attached photo). With it I ordered an iced cappuccino ($5.25), which was good, especially with a cinnamon sprinkle on top, but quite small for the price. Unfortunately, over half of it was foam--more than expected even for a cappuccino-style drink. The interior was clean but quite busy. I had to wait about 15 minutes for my food, and the restaurant appeared somewhat understaffed, with many tables needing to be bussed and cleaned. Although I was warned of the wait and the tables were cleaned about 10 minutes in, for an upscale establishment like this, I would hope for more consistent upkeep and slightly more staff. Prices, above, are a bit elevated and somewhat disproportionate to the quantity of food provided. However, given the ritzy, popular setting, they are not entirely unreasonable. If you're looking an upscale, delicious Italian sandwich in the heart of the Glendale Galleria, you'd be hard-pressed to do better than Deluca's.
