As soon as the tech started working on my gel builder, I knew it was going to be horrible. She was slopping on the hard gel, letting it touch my skin, and answering call after call. When I tried to separate the product from my skin before she cured it, she snapped and said, "leave it". After she was done, I told her my nails were way too wide. She told me she was going to shape them. She didn't. Paid $60 for disappointment. I was really surprised their service is horrible because they're always so busy. I took time off work to get to the appointment on time, drove OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF to get to her, waited in the lobby where she approached me and said she had no appointments for the rest of the day. My heart dropped, I showed her our messages from the day prior and as she scrolled through them she muttered "oh i forgot..". She said that she could not take me that day because she had booked a class for that time slot. It was beyond unprofessional, inconsiderate and upsetting. She said she'd be accommodating but didn't offer times and when I asked about my next available day she seemed hesitant to take me. She later went on to post on her instagram that it was clients duty to assure that their appointments were set and that she would send verification texts, the whole situation just was very unprofessional. I have nothing against her work, just wish it went differently. She later offered a 30$ discount but I am still hesitant to take the offer. Also I am very forgiving and understanding of human error, I know times are busy right now but there was just no way for me to know if I wasn't booked considering all she had asked of me was my information. I never knew she sent verification texts and she was continuing to promote other time slots on her instagram so I assumed my time was booked.

I have gotten gel x nails before and I have never experienced burning pain before. I let the technician know that it hurt really bad, no response. So I tried to ignore it and move on. But two nails later, it burned again, it was very painful. Then I simply asked the question, is this supposed to be happening? But that seemed to upset the nail tech and then he started to make me feel like it was my fault that my nail was in a lot of pain and then he went off with his little comments that got me upset. I was simply trying to communicate that something was wrong, and trying to understand why it's burning so bad. I kindly ask for a different nail tech, but I was ready to leave, but decided to give someone else a chance and that person was good. Flag #2: I was ready to pay but apparently they don't take any card. There Internet was "down" and only take Zelle. I wish they told me that when I walked in. The funny part is that they point me to the ATM and a print out with instructions how to pay via Zelle. Flag # 3 I was so ready to leave and felt I had no choice but to pay via Zelle. Then they tried to charge me the "credit card" rate! Omg, now I was upset because I know many people will not speak up and be taken advantage. Are these ethical business practices? I had two girls work on my full set. Both were very nice. The first one who prepped my nails did a okay job but her application of the pink acrylic was a little sloppy and she didn't seem very confident in doing acrylic. The other girl had to come in to fix them and she did my French tip. The nails themselves are very pretty but have some imperfections which were noticed before I left, the French tip has pink in it at the top which was fixed And I didnt notice til I got home unfortunately that the underneath of my nails are caked with acrylic.
