    Chicken Noodle Soups
    Derek L.

I'm in the neighborhood for appointments a couple of times a week and one day I was a little hungry and decided to stop by Judy's. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and it was really good! Wasn't overly salty and the flavor was great! This place is very cute and cozy. I sat at a large table with strangers. Everyone here was friendly and the service was pretty quick. Only complaint is that it's a bit on the pricier side. But i did splurge on a cookie, which was massive, and it was sooo good! If you're in the neighborhood, try it out! I'm sure I'll be back!

What a treasure to find! I needed to have lab work done at Quest Diagnostics and as I walked in the building lobby there was Judi's Deli! I purchased a BANANA DATE SMOOTHIE WITH OATMILK for the person who drove me. I purchased for myself a SCOOP OF CHICKEN SALAD ON A GREEN SALAD and SEASONED BAGEL CHIPS. Everything was delicious and the bagel chips were phenomenal. I was so hungry I forgot to take the photos before gobbling up the food. The salad was very large. I will definitely be back. The staff is so kind I felt like I had known them for years!

I had to come and share what several of the most recent reviews have shared already. I understand Beverly Hills but how are we going to go from expensive to absolutely Ludacris charging. Two sandwiches cost $50. It's so mind blowing. Another price increase. I love to support local businesses but in this case, it just doesn't sit well with me, especially knowing it's just a sandwich. I understand other local businesses have increased prices but it feels within reason/means compared to Judi's. You can get a nice 3 course lunch meal on Rodeo Drive for a fraction of this cost and get to sit in an aesthetically pleasing restaurant and enjoy a classy yet casual environment. This place is always a rush during lunch. Sometimes your sandwich may come so toasted (burnt) and you could see the areas they tried to scrape off. Sometimes it'll be perfect. It's not the most consistent. Their seating is so tight that you have to squeeze between tables and high top tables, where people are seated and eating at, just to get condiments. Also despite menu advising "Any Sandwich $19" please note this is false advertisement and does not in fact mean any. $3 for a hardboiled egg. *insert mind blown emoji* For a few dollars more I could by a dozen eggs. I used to love them and would love to support this shop but for the cost of one sandwich $25 I can't. There are several other shops in the same blocks vicinity that offer delicious quality sandwiches, still reasonably priced at Beverly Hills standards but not at Ludacris prices, if that makes sense.

The Nosh around the corner was my usual go-to as I wait for Mom to wrap it up at her oral surgeon appointment. I'm not sure why I never spotted this place given it's across the street from the clinic, but hey... better late than never! It's a small and quaint spot, and the menu is enticing. I deliberately skipped lunch because I had every intention of making a stop here to grub. I had my eye on the half sandwich/soup combo. Pops wanted the breakfast plate. We had the pup with us so we sat comfortably at their patio. This place is popular (nonstop food delivery services coming through) but there were a few who stayed put (us included.) Put in our orders and sat right back outside. Wasn't long before I got my drink out. The food followed not too long after. CAFE MOCHA SMOOTHIE: Great choice of refreshment for a semi-hot and humid day. I also needed the pick-me-up so the caffeine helped. 1/2 SANDWICH AND SOUP: I opted for the corned beef sandwich and Matzo ball soup. (Okay, I got these for the sake of comparing to The Nosh.) I will be honest - sandwich was delicious, but different delicious. They clearly have their own recipe but the main essence is there. Some of the end parts were dry, but moist otherwise. Veggies were fresh! Overall, this was great bites! MATZO BALL: Also comparably delicious but also different delicious. The matzo ball was fluffy and packed with flavor. The broth was well seasoned and had depth. Noodles were cooked perfect. This was a great combo to the sandwich. 2 EGGS ANY STYLE: This was Pop's meal of choice. He likes his eggs cooked well done and this is probably the best well-done eggs I've seen anywhere. The bacon was cooked cripsy and the potatoes were seasoned great. (I took teenee bites of each.) Pops enjoyed this a lot. FOOD: 4. Delicious but there's still room for improvement. SERVICE: 5. They were fast, friendly and service with a smile! VALUE: 3. A little pricier than average, but you know.. BH and all... comes with the territory. PARKING: Free parking up to 2 hours at the parking structure on the north end of the block (right next to the now defunct Rite Aid.) OVERALL: 4. Mom has at least one more follow up appointment with her oral surgeon. I saw a customer order this delicious looking salad. Might just get that on that next run...

Prices are high and quantities are huge. Their half soup and half salad options are perfect! They are very filling. Tried almost all their soups and they are all delicious!

Large Matzo Ball Soup w/ 2 balls, chicken, rice, & noodles. Delicious!

Great little family-owned deli in the heart of BH. The staff are helpful & friendly. Matzo ball soup is delicious! Reminds me of my grandmother's style: soft outside, dense inside. We got 2 large matzo soups with chicken, rice, & noodles added, & plenty of Saltines. We also had a tasty Chinese Chicken Salad Wrap, which was a salad in a wrap, including the crunchy wonton crisps. The price was good relative to other delis & location. Due to Covid, they only have 2 tables outside, no ice water or fountain drinks. But we're glad we found them after all these years. We'll definitely come back. It's BH, so there's plenty of metered parking & great people watching.

Big fan of your simple, reasonably priced , order at the counter food for years but now you charge $13 for a bowl of soup -- that is all kinds of crazy.

Service is horribly slow here! Not only that, but listening to the cashier make a call to someone on the phone saying that the Oatmeal needs to be changed, because it's "horrible" and then give that bowl of oatmeal to a customer. Seriously...what's wrong with you guys??? You just said the Oatmeal was horrible and you handed it over to a customer. That in itself is Horrible!! No wonder the lady left after tasting your oatmeal. Now with my order. I ordered Judi's Breakfast Combo and I wasn't impressed. The eggs were over cooked and too salty, and the pancakes were extremely spongy. I probably won't come back here again.

After driving by several times, I finally had the opportunity to stop on in. Parking is metered street, and I was lucky to find a spot right across the way around 10:30a during the week. As you walk in, the host stand is at the end and there is seating to your left. My friend was already seated here, so I just walked on in to table. A nice waitress came over shortly thereafter, and I ordered a cocoa with oatmilk (small). This 'small' was served in a glass, whereas a large would be in a typical mug you would expect. As for the drink, it was pretty good. As we caught up, I perused the menu and decided on a side of tater tots and for the first time in my life, I ordered banana bread which I was told was the closest thing to a breakfast pastry on their menu, while he went with a chickpea scramble (no bread). I don't feel it took too long for the food to arrive since we were catching up and enjoying our drinks. The restaurant was getting busier around this time as well. The banana bread had Maldon sea salt and honeycomb butter. This wasn't bad at all; I just never really had this before but I did finish it (got the remainder of it to go for later). The tater tots were just tater tots, nothing special but a larger portion which would be great for sharing alongside a side of ketchup. Service was welcoming, the space is nice, restrooms are two separate ones for all genders. Other guests that sat near us were friendly as well which made for an all-around pleasant experience. No photos taken since I was actually enjoying the company I was in. There were a few choices I was given today to meet up, and I'm glad I chose this one. Would be willing to try pizza or their pasta dishes on a future (later) visit. Note: I did see quite a few cops in the area, so I don't know if they are nabbing people for jaywalking or something else, so just be aware-

I even had a party with them and couldn't get them to talk with me about it over the phone. I get that they need decisions in writing, but they can talk and then confirm! And calling them about an order you've placed or anything else? Good luck. Still, the party was great and so has been every meal I've had there, and there have been a lot!)

I bought an anomaly (no...it's not cake). I'm actually still traumatized about the reality of what I put into my mouth that day. Something seeming to be a matcha scone or bread of some sort but was so incredibly unbread like I couldn't even eat it! It had a horrible aftertaste and sort of melted immediately as it hit your mouth. I wonder now, if it was gluten free or something. Had they labeled it as such, I would not have bought that Frankenstein. It looked like bread but had none of the qualities of tasting like bread. So sad. Let your customers make informed decisions! If it's a monster, label it as such! Next, the hummas. I ordered a basic hummus that was supposed to come with pita bread, however I ended up setting this green Jungle thing with all these mint, cilantro and whatever leaves thrown on top. I'm all about a green hummus, the problem was that they had changed the hummus offering but not changed the description on the menu, so it was just a completely different vibe of hummas than what I was expecting. It could have been fine, had it tasted good, but boy oh boy was it a miss on every level. It tasted like green lemon acidic soup. It didn't have the thickness of a hummas with chickpeas. It even had a soda like carbonation to it like as if they added citric acid to it or something. The consistency was like as if you were to blend a bunch of avocados until it became a purée and added enough lemon acidic juice until it was slightly more watery and unpalatable. Then the kicker, pickled veggies! I could cry. Who in the chef came up with this?! It's the most unbalanced thing I've ever had in my life! With something already saturated with lemon, why are you serving me pickled vegetables? Would you also like to serve me a cup of vinegar juice to wash it down with? I vowed never ever to come back, until... I tried their lattes. Hear me out, they make their own syrups. Lattes are amazing, fire, 10 out of 10! So I'll come back for those, and I do, consistently. As for the food and the pastries, who knows maybe they do serve something good in this restaurant, but the first experience was such a miss, that I'm not gonna risk my tastebuds trying to find that out. There's too many really good restaurants in LA. Fool me once... As for the service itself: the managers, the employees, they're amazing; 10 out of ten nice neighborly great people. I just had to be honest about the food. ‍

We walked in expecting a quiet lunch and quickly realized the World Cup was on. The screening room was packed with members watching the match, and it was fun seeing everyone so invested in the game. Since we wanted to catch up, we headed to the garden patio instead. There were plenty of people enjoying lunch outside, though it never felt loud. We never had to raise our voices to hear each other, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the afternoon. Our server was fantastic. She checked on us throughout the meal, kept our drinks refreshed, and always seemed to know when to stop by and when to give us space. We never felt rushed, which made the afternoon even more enjoyable. We started with the calamari to share. I ordered the Faroe Island king salmon with sautéed spinach and chimichurri, and my friend had the chopped salad. The salmon had a beautiful sear and was cooked perfectly, while the chimichurri added just the right amount of brightness. We each ordered the cucumber cocktail, mine with vodka and his with gin. It was crisp, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted on such a hot afternoon. It paired especially well with the salmon. One detail I really appreciate about Soho House is its no-photo policy. After spending a few hours there, it made perfect sense. Around us, people were catching up with friends, having meetings, enjoying lunch, or watching the match without phones constantly pointed around the room. It made the entire space feel more relaxed, and I found myself appreciating being somewhere that encouraged people to be present with each other. Nothing felt forced or overly formal. We were able to settle in, enjoy a great meal, and spend a few hours catching up without ever feeling like our table was needed for the next reservation. By the time we left, I completely understood why so many people enjoy being members. One last detail worth mentioning is valet. The attendants were friendly, professional, and efficient. I ordered one of the juices from the menu along with the rest of our drinks, but it didn't arrive until about 30-45 minutes later--only after I had asked about it three separate times, and after our appetizers had already come out. If it wasn't available or there was a delay, I would've appreciated being told instead of having to keep asking. There was also an issue with my entrée. I ordered a sushi roll but was served yellowtail sashimi instead. During ordering, the server had to repeatedly check the menu for the names of the dishes, but since he confirmed our order before leaving the table, I didn't expect there to be any confusion. It was unfortunate because the restaurant has a lot going for it. As someone who has worked as a fine dining server in the same area, I understand that mistakes happen, but communication and attention to detail are essential. With better service, this could have easily been a much stronger experience.

Other staff did come by to clear our empty plates from the table, so that was nice. We did notice that they only provided 1 serving spoon for all of our dishes. Would've liked a serving utensil with each dish to minimize cross-contamination and mixing of flavors. Throughout our dining, there were flies and small bugs flying around, which was off-putting and annoying as we had to keep swatting them away from landing on our food. 1. Farmhouse Beet Salad (5/5) It's a good thing this was the 1st dish to arrive at our table as it left a good 1st impression. The roasted organic beets were fresh and had that earthy-tone to it. Dressed with their lemon-oregano vinaigrette, feta, arugula, and candied pecans. OMG, those candied pecans were heavenly. It's crunchy and toasted to perfection. the candied flavor of it was addictingly delicious. If they have a menu item of candied pecans, I'll order it any day. 2. Trio Taco (2.5/5) You can choose between chicken, steak, shrimp, plant-based chicken, or jackfruit. We opted for steak. The steak was fine, but for BBQ sauce used was just a dish killer. They need to rethink the choice of sauce used in these tacos. Also, not a fan of corn tortilla. Wish they gave a choice between corn and flour tortilla. 3. Artisan Bread & Butter (5/5) Their sourdough bread sliced, grilled and brushed generously with garlic olive oil. Severed with a side of whipped duckfat butter. I've never had duck fat butter before, so this was a pleasant experience to try. Not to worry, there's no duck flavor at all. It's almost like cream cheese but lighter and airer. 4. Ahi Filet (1.5/5) Sesame-crusted ahi with a side wasabi aioli. The ahi was so-so; definitely, not the freshest and there's no "melt-in-your mouth" joy. The wasabi aioli sauce was good though. There is a subtle spice kick from the wasabi. It's served with a side of soba noodles that was gingery and peanuty in flavor. Unfortunately, the noodles were overcooked as they stuck to each other in clumps. 5. Bacon & Blue Burger (4.5/5) Quite a satisfying burger consisting of wagyu beef, duroc bacon, aged blue cheese, caramelized onions, and arugula. It's juicy, meaty, slightly tangy from the horseradish aioli and sweet from the port wine reduction. The brioche bun was pleasantly soft. 6. Thai Ginger Salad (3/5) This salad consists of romaine lettuce as the base. It is dressed with Thai sesame dressing, which was underwhelming. The toppings for this salad include fresh mango cubes, slaw, slices of avocado, fresh peanut bits, tomato and soba noodles. It's not a bad salad, but for the price, I do not think it is worth it. 7. Superfood Longevity Salad (4/5) A salad consisting of mixed greens (lacinato kale and spring mix) with a variety of rich, nutritious toppings (organic beets, quinoa, pomegranate, radish, blueberries, almonds, dried Bing cherries, and pepitas). The dressing is a sherry vinaigrette that's tangy, creamy and light. All the ingredients came together well. If you are looking for a hearty salad, this is for you. 8. Hibiscus Rosé (4/5) Sparkling rosé with hibiscus flavor infused with grapefruit skin to give it a bit of citrus note and topped off with a micro flower to add a special touch of decor to the drink. In summary, the food looks better than it actually tastes. Come here if you want to eat out with a large party for celebration, but otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it for a special night out as the price does not justify the experience.

Funny, because before…read moreI read this, my immediate reaction when I walked in the door this weekend was that it reminded me of some of the breezy upscale restaurants I grew up with at the Jersey Shore. And, Miami. And even at the marinas in San Diego, San Francisco, and Sausalito. The Henry is very large and open, yet, with all the light streaming in, the soft blues and greys keep the atmosphere sophisticated, subdued, and cool. You immediately feel the calm and these days, especially in the city, we can use a good deal of decompressing. It was almost an audible "aaaahhhhh" that my brain whispered when we sat down at our roomy booth. We were there for brunch and the menu was wonderful for me, a lifelong vegetarian. There were multiple items I wanted to try but I usually stick to an appetizer, main, dessert, and beverage. I am not a big eater at one sitting. Between us, everything we ordered was superb. The descriptions were pretty familiar, but the tastes were elevated. And the presentations were unique too -- see my photos. Michael, our server, was efficient but warm and friendly too. That makes such a difference. From beginning to end he took care of us, checking occasionally to get our enthusiastic thumbs-up, and then bringing us sturdy containers and a roomy thick shopping bag to take home the leftovers. We stuffed ourselves but still took home half of the generous portions we were given. The tab was beyond reasonable too, especially for Beverly Hills! Nice music -- not too loud, just enough to give a cheerful vibe in the background; clean appointments; quality furnishings; giant spotless windows; pretty wallcoverings; comfortable seating -- everything was just right, Goldilocks-worthy. This is the kind of place to return to again and again. Garage parking at the complex for $15 was so easy, clean surroundings in the neighborhood with some famous retail nearby for browsing, just 40 minutes from home. IOW, perfect!

The atmosphere is really beautiful, and the service was wonderful, but the food is just way too expensive for what it is. I met up with my friend here for lunch on a Monday, and we had no problem getting a table, it wasn't too busy, and I was able to find street parking about a block down. Or you can pay $15 for the lot that's right behind it. I got the Fish Tacos and it was $30 for 2 sad little tacos and a side of quinoa rice. My friend got the harvest salad, added chicken, and a coke. For all that it was almost an $80 lunch. Insane pricing. This place is cute but not $80 cute.
