Ok guys! So I found the cutest little deli/cafe in the heart of BH. I went in for a blood test next door and I had been fasting.. i stumbled upon this gem. This place felt like a cafe in Greece/almafi Coast. So pretty.. I believe they had recently done a little remodel with new furniture. The staff was beyond friendly and attentive. Greta service. Iran helped me and so did the owner of the place. She kept giving me samples to try. It felt so homey and loving. I got a veggie omelet, which was fresh and delicious, freshly squeezed OJ.. and delicious coffee. I didn't want to leave. I also tried the green split pea soup. To die for!!! Judi's deli has been around forever (since 1980). It's a very casual place with sandwiches and salads located in a medical building but accessible from the street. I love their falafel wrap. I'm in the neighborhood for appointments a couple of times a week and one day I was a little hungry and decided to stop by Judy's. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and it was really good! Wasn't overly salty and the flavor was great! This place is very cute and cozy. I sat at a large table with strangers. Everyone here was friendly and the service was pretty quick. Only complaint is that it's a bit on the pricier side. But i did splurge on a cookie, which was massive, and it was sooo good! If you're in the neighborhood, try it out! What a treasure to find! I needed to have lab work done at Quest Diagnostics and as I walked in the building lobby there was Judi's Deli! I purchased a BANANA DATE SMOOTHIE WITH OATMILK for the person who drove me. I purchased for myself a SCOOP OF CHICKEN SALAD ON A GREEN SALAD and SEASONED BAGEL CHIPS. Everything was delicious and the bagel chips were phenomenal. I was so hungry I forgot to take the photos before gobbling up the food. The salad was very large. I will definitely be back. I had to come and share what several of the most recent reviews have shared already. I understand Beverly Hills but how are we going to go from expensive to absolutely Ludacris charging. Two sandwiches cost $50. It's so mind blowing. Another price increase. I love to support local businesses but in this case, it just doesn't sit well with me, especially knowing it's just a sandwich. I understand other local businesses have increased prices but it feels within reason/means compared to Judi's. You can get a nice 3 course lunch meal on Rodeo Drive for a fraction of this cost and get to sit in an aesthetically pleasing restaurant and enjoy a classy yet casual environment. This place is always a rush during lunch. Sometimes your sandwich may come so toasted (burnt) and you could see the areas they tried to scrape off. Sometimes it'll be perfect. It's not the most consistent. Their seating is so tight that you have to squeeze between tables and high top tables, where people are seated and eating at, just to get condiments. Also despite menu advising "Any Sandwich $19" please note this is false advertisement and does not in fact mean any. $3 for a hardboiled egg. *insert mind blown emoji* For a few dollars more I could by a dozen eggs. I used to love them and would love to support this shop but for the cost of one sandwich $25 I can't. There are several other shops in the same blocks vicinity that offer delicious quality sandwiches, still reasonably priced at Beverly Hills standards but not at Ludacris prices, if that makes sense. read more

The Nosh around the corner was my usual go-to as I wait for Mom to wrap it up at her oral surgeon appointment. I'm not sure why I never spotted this place given it's across the street from the clinic, but hey... better late than never! It's a small and quaint spot, and the menu is enticing. I deliberately skipped lunch because I had every intention of making a stop here to grub. I had my eye on the half sandwich/soup combo. Pops wanted the breakfast plate. We had the pup with us so we sat comfortably at their patio. This place is popular (nonstop food delivery services coming through) but there were a few who stayed put (us included.) Put in our orders and sat right back outside. Wasn't long before I got my drink out. The food followed not too long after. CAFE MOCHA SMOOTHIE: Great choice of refreshment for a semi-hot and humid day. I also needed the pick-me-up so the caffeine helped. 1/2 SANDWICH AND SOUP: I opted for the corned beef sandwich and Matzo ball soup. (Okay, I got these for the sake of comparing to The Nosh.) I will be honest - sandwich was delicious, but different delicious. They clearly have their own recipe but the main essence is there. Some of the end parts were dry, but moist otherwise. Veggies were fresh! Overall, this was great bites! MATZO BALL: Also comparably delicious but also different delicious. The matzo ball was fluffy and packed with flavor. The broth was well seasoned and had depth. Noodles were cooked perfect. This was a great combo to the sandwich. 2 EGGS ANY STYLE: This was Pop's meal of choice. He likes his eggs cooked well done and this is probably the best well-done eggs I've seen anywhere. The bacon was cooked cripsy and the potatoes were seasoned great. (I took teenee bites of each.) Pops enjoyed this a lot. FOOD: 4. Delicious but there's still room for improvement. SERVICE: 5. They were fast, friendly and service with a smile! VALUE: 3. A little pricier than average, but you know.. BH and all... comes with the territory. PARKING: Free parking up to 2 hours at the parking structure on the north end of the block (right next to the now defunct Rite Aid.) OVERALL: 4. Great little family-owned deli in the heart of BH. The staff are helpful & friendly. Matzo ball soup is delicious! Reminds me of my grandmother's style: soft outside, dense inside. We got 2 large matzo soups with chicken, rice, & noodles added, & plenty of Saltines. We also had a tasty Chinese Chicken Salad Wrap, which was a salad in a wrap, including the crunchy wonton crisps. The price was good relative to other delis & location. Due to Covid, they only have 2 tables outside, no ice water or fountain drinks. But we're glad we found them after all these years. I have been coming here since forever! I love it and so do my kids. I used to work down the street and would come here at lunchtime now I come here after blood test to open the fast or when I'm visiting the doctor or the children's orthodontist it's such a special treat come to Judy's deli, our number one favorite thing to get here is the toasted pastrami on rye sandwich and the split pea soup. I do love the new renovations, but must admit. I miss the old vibes too. The only thing I would recommend is please please please get rid of your Styrofoam food boxes and those flimsy plastic soup containers. They are poisoning your beautiful food. Please switch to more healthier options for to go packaging like paper the supermarkets all have paper soup containers now and paper food boxes. It's been raining in LA lately and I came to the deli after I had a fasting blood test to get 2 pints of split pea soup, but I had to change my mind when I saw that you are still using plastic containers for hot soup this is a huge no-no. I work in Beverly Hills and have been going to Judi"s Deli for years. They recently closed for renovation and has now opened. I decided to return to get my usual California wrap w/ a side of honey mustard. First let me start my saying the prices have gone up (but I can expect that with the cost of living), but the wrap was considerably smaller. They charged me a dollar for the side of honey mustard. My grand total was $22.95. Around 7:30 when I arrived home from work I started feeling ill. To make a long story short, I had gotten food poisoning from that California Wrap. I know is from the wrap, because I had not eaten nothing else. When I return to work the next day, I walked down to inform them of the expensive food poisoning I received from them, and I did not want any money back, no substitute wrap, but just to let them know. I was greeted with "well know one else has gotten sick." EXCUSE ME! Where is the apology? Then it was "thanks for letting us know." This was the last time I will be returning to spending my money to an establishment that has No Concern, Respect, and Courtesy for their patrons. No more $22.95 food poisoning for me!!!!! read more

Not only that, but listening to the cashier make a call to someone on the phone saying that the Oatmeal needs to be changed, because it's "horrible" and then give that bowl of oatmeal to a customer. Seriously...what's wrong with you guys??? You just said the Oatmeal was horrible and you handed it over to a customer. That in itself is Horrible!! No wonder the lady left after tasting your oatmeal. Now with my order. I ordered Judi's Breakfast Combo and I wasn't impressed. The eggs were over cooked and too salty, and the pancakes were extremely spongy. Over-priced :( I ordered a 1/2 pint of the avocado mix and it came out to $8.75, and a small Perrier. I asked why the board said $4.25 for a 1/2 pint of the tabouli, etc. and she said it's new sides not listed on the board (I've been here before and it's not new)... she said sign it and I'll void it. Well I didn't sign the iPad, and instead I just stepped back to see what else to order, and she still charged me (photo attached). Not cool :( This place is so close to my work, so it's a shame that they're so overpriced for what you're getting. Food quality good and fresh I'll give them that, but the prices are dramatically higher than any other deli/cafe in Beverly Hills, they're not very efficient nor friendly either because they're so overwhelmed with all the orders (it gets busy for lunch) they run around in circles looking stressed out and lost, they used to have this guy Atticus at the cafe, ambiance, service, consistency, quality he would offer to me and my family everytime we would come in, and now they don't even have him. What has happened to Judi's? Who's managing this? A child? The only reason I order from this place is for their soup. I've ordered soup for delivery from them plenty of times in the morning without incident. Today when I ordered soup, it was unavailable. They did not call to let me know nor did they answer the phone when I tried to see what was going on. They made my seamless driver deal with it which is wildly inappropriate because it is not her job to make up for the restaurant's shortcomings. I don't want the food anymore and now I'm paying out the nose for something I never would have elected to order for myself. And its taken 45 minutes for me to figure this is happening. I could have easily ordered from somewhere else and had my food by now. This is not the first time their menu online doesn't match what they actually have in the store. Try to be professional and update your stuff so you don't continue to disappoint your customers. It is unprofessional. Every item I ordered was incorrect or missing. Was feeling sick and ordered the matzo ball soup, bagel and the turkey melt for my boyfriend. The quart of soup was missing which is the whole reason I ordered from here. Pretty hard not to realize when a whole quart of soup is missing. The bagel they gave us was sesame when I ordered rye and my boyfriend's melt was missing almost all toppings when I had selected "with everything". Definitely won't be ordering again.
