All the reviewers had a good experience with this company. I had seen a logo company truck in my neighborhood and called for an estimate and assessment on my tile roof that was leaking. Ask for MAISYN as his experience is priceless. He certainly understands the definition of Customer Service. After any work is done, I make a note whether I would 1) use them again for my future work 2) more importantly would l risk my name on a reference to a friend or neighbor. The answer is yes to both!!! read more

Great experience from start to finish. They came out to repair several pop-ups on our roof and did a great job. When it looked like a few more had appeared, they came back out promptly and took care of them at no additional charge. Very responsive, professional, and easy to work with. I really appreciated them standing behind their work and would definitely recommend them. read more

Joey, Jacob and entire team was incredibly professional, detail-oriented, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. Their work was meticulous and exceeded our expectations. Every step was handled with precision, and they made sure we felt informed and supported the whole way through. It's clear they take great pride in what they do. I would confidently recommend JRT Roofing to all of my friends and family. JRT Roofing & Waterproofing - Roofing Near Me - Capistrano Beach, California

JRT Roofing came highly recommended and they lived up to it. I had some waterproofing concerns around a flat deck area that connects to the house, and they were one of the few companies that actually specialize in both roofing and waterproofing -- which made a real difference. The crew knew exactly what they were looking at, explained the root cause clearly, and gave me a detailed scope before starting. Work was completed in one day, no mess left behind. The problem hasn't returned since. Really appreciated their expertise and no-nonsense approach. read more

This post is long overdue but if you are looking for a great roofing company, JRT Roofing is your answer. From a pricing perspective, they are incredibly fair-- and Joey stands behind his company and promise-- which is pretty rare to find these days and worth its weight in gold. His team did an amazing job on our roof and any issues along the way were resolved both quickly and fairly. We would highly recommend using JRT to our friends and family-- and will use them again if/when needed!! read more

I called JRT Roofing for a leak in my cement tile roof. Maisyn inspected the roof and explained his analysis of the possible source of the leak. I was very impressed with his knowledge and explanation, as well as the repair options. Maisyn said that the roof as a whole was in satisfactory condition. The roof had been previously inspected by another roofing company who recommended a whole new roof without explanation. JRT completed the repairs at a reasonable price. I appreciated JRT's honesty and explanation, and would use them in the future. I highly recommend JRT Roofing for an honest assessment of roofing issues. read more

Great insight into what caused my roof to leak. They repaired my gutter problem and did an overall repair and inspection of my roof.

Highly recommend! I had balconies waterproofed due to their age and a recurring leak. I met with five other companies and chose JRT. I felt confident in them, they were fairly priced and they didn't let me down. Steve is thorough and walks you through the recommendations. He had good follow up and strong communication throughout the project. The crew is professional, knowledgeable and does quality work--and clean! It was a great experience from start to finish. read more

We had heard great things about JRT Roofing and Waterproofing, and we are so thankful we decided to go with them to install our new roof! Steve Martinez, the project manager, and the whole team were knowledgeable, professional, and so kind. They communicated clearly from the get go and were so conscientious about cleaning up each day that even our neighbors commented on how efficient and nice their whole team was. We cannot recommend them highly enough. We appreciated their patience dealing with our solar company and their honest pricing for a high quality job. read more

I had my entire roof on our 40 year old home replaced by JRT Roofing. These guys are a class act all the way. Amazing attention to detail, I couldn't be happier with how the final product turned out. Such a pleasure to work with JRT roofing. Their prices are very reasonable for quality work. They were very efficient in their timeline. The project was handled with Care and my property was always treated with respect keeping a clean worksite. As a fellow contractor, I find myself to be pickier than most. But these guys checked every box. Thank you for my beautiful new roof! read more

Over the last ten years, my home has had several roof repairs due to leaks that we have noticed. We found a small proprietor who helped us each time and our experience with him was great but he left to retire in Arizona. This time around, we had to start from scratch and I had four different roofers assess our situation. Out of the four, I narrowed down to JRT and another roofer. Both roofers provided me options and based on everything that I have learned, I realized that it was time for a "lift and relay" and replace all the felt paper underneath the tiles since my home was built in 1995 -- so it was time. JRT provided me a fix option but I pursued the "lift and relay." JRT helped me placed two layers of felt paper so that i shouldn't have to worry about anymore roof problems for the rest my lifetime. Steve Martinez was the person from JRT who met with me and became the point person for me. He explained and showed me everything in detail. Since my leak was related to the chimney, he said he'll also install crickets for me as part of the lift and relay. Since I am doing this, I asked him if I should replace my roof tiles and he recommended that I can save some money and keep the tiles since my cement tiles are in good shape and should be lifetime tiles. Given the mold, algae, and other stuff growing on my tiles, I decided to hire another service provider to clean it off - which I am happy that I did because my roof tiles look brand new. The project itself took ~ 18 work days to complete and it involved two roofers at my home for 9 hours each day. The two roofers are two brothers who were super comprehensive in everything they did. Lets be honest, if they wanted to, they could have just lift off the tiles and just laid down two layers of felt paper and called it a day. However, I can tell by their daily activities and the wood used that they did some serious wood repair. I also noticed that they matched the color of the grates and the morter to my roof tile colors -- which looks great!! The original morter on my roof was gray like cement and all my neighbors are probably jealous now at how great my roof looks. The 18 days of work was longer than I expected, but given the care and attention to detail of their work -- my wife and I didn't mind at all. Lastly, lets be honest, I am not a roofer so I can't tell if they are doing great work or just simply superficial work. The only thing I can use is my commonsense and I can tell that Steve and his team did not take any shortcuts and did all the right thing. Here's an example, I dropped off my son from school and returned home at around 9am and I saw the JRT truck leaving so I flagged him down and asked if everything was done. He said yes and everything is good and he drove away. 15 minutes later when I was leaving my home for for work, the same gentleman came driving back as I was driving out and I asked him why he came back. He said that he just realized that he should take an extra step to make sure that the gutter was all good as he took out his ladder. I left for work that day knowing that my roof is in good hands. Lets be honest, most contractors probably wouldn't have come back. This interaction and other small actions that I observed over the last 20+ days showed me that Steve and his team actually cares about the final product. At the end of the day, that is all you can ask for. Lastly, in my little cul de sac, there are literally 7 homes and 3 homes (including my home) have done the same lift and relay investment in the last 2 months. Out of the three homes, I can clearly tell that my roof looks much better than the other two - and it looks brand new. I smile every day as I turn into my cul de sac and see my awesome looking roof. read more

Haven't been up on the roof to inspect their work, but the roof doesn't seem to leak anymore. One of the staff inspected my roof with a drone. Very cool! They sent me an estimate, which they did not try to up charge. The repair staff showed up on time, certainly seemed to work hard, and were very professional. Amazingly, they cleaned up after themselves. I shopped around for roofers, and thought JTR's prices were reasonable. I have recommended them to neighbors several times. read more

I would start this review by stating that I'm an ex shop teacher and VERY particular on workmanship issues, which explains why my neighbors value my referrals for contractors. After getting eight companies to bid the lift and relay roofing job, it became clear that many of these competitors were paper pushers who made up bids, and were clueless on some basic questions about things like new underlayment materials and inspections. A request for an estimate was met with an immediate return phone call from Jennifer laying out the timeline for estimate, job start, and completion which turned out to be right on the money. When Josh came out to measure and do a drone survey, he went back to the office and did a detailed 14 page GAF measure roof report. The use of Owens Corning Titanium UDL 50 over traditional 2x30# paper seems to be the emergent technology; after the success of Titanium in Florida and Texas. Once Josh has the job, you'll see his smiling face often as project manager, who choreographed material deliveries, tearoff, replacement of rotted wooden sheating and fascia, underpayment, and relay very efficiently. Our 3000 sq ft house was reroofed in exactly 10 days, just as Josh said with a wonderful crew led by Felipe of three craftsman. Having been around tradespeople for many years, it didn't take long to recognize these guys were very happy to be working together and more importantly working to create a quality job for the customer. It's not too often that you get to see a team so competent and respectful of the house and the people inside, along with the neighbors. Cleanup was done at the end of the day and start was according to HOA restrictions. Other roofers in the neighborhood hired day laborers or subcontracted out the tearoff, while juggling multiple jobs, resulting in long completion times. The pricing for the job was very fair, change orders for unforeseen items, like hidden wood damage or broken tiles were always explained and documented. In summary, if you want a quality job using American made state-of-the-art materials with a very fair price, then JRT is your go to. The job also got a critical test during tropical storm Hilary; not a drop! read more

Need a new roof or repair? Without a doubt you need to call JRT Roofing. My roof of 30 years started leaking with all the rain this year. Based on the recommendation of 2 local contractors I contacted JRT. Within a day Josh contacted me to discuss my needs and sent me a competitively priced detailed bid. Josh remained my main contact throughout the job. He did an excellent job keeping me informed of all key schedules and activities. The roofing crew showed up each day on time and left the job site clean each night. Josh even sent pictures of the roof at different stages of the job. The new roof looks great and I look forward to many leak free years. Every person at JRT I spoke with was very professional and focused on my needs. It was apparent that they strive to build a quality business that will be around for generations. read more

JRT did the most fantastic job repapering and reflashing our entire roof. They went out of their way to beat the incoming rain storm and stayed each day until it was almost dark. JRT is the best. I can't even believe the incredible experience we've had with Joey. We had an issue with our general contractor not doing our metal roof properly, and asked Joey for advice since he's a pro. He took time out of his busy day to come look at it and confirm what we thought was happening. He also educated and advised us on possible solutions. He offered to order the correct materials through his contacts for us since our contractor wasn't getting it done. He ordered all the materials for us and got us in touch with the manufacturer so we were in the loop on the status of the order. He called me to let me know when the materials would be delivered and has responded to text messages and also checked up on the job. The part that blows my mind? He didn't make a penny off of this! He truly did this for us out of the kindness of his heart. He saw that we were in a bad spot and helped us with zero expectations of gaining anything from it. He never tried to swoop in and steal the job and has treated us like a friend. If you ever need a professional to do any kind of roofing job and you want to hire someone you know CARES about you and your project, Joey is your guy. I will refer him to everyone I know. Thank you!! read more

JRT Roofing is the best. Had an issue with our roof. Another company had claimed to have "fixed" our issue, but once the rain came the leak was back. JRT actually revealed a hole in the roof (not sure how the other company missed it??). They ended up replacing the entire roof. They are meticulous and care about their craftsmanship! They showed up on time every day, were great about cleaning up each day (essential when you have children & pets) and were fantastic about communicating! Could not recommend them more!!!! read more

JRT Roofing & Waterproofing JUST finished my roof and I could not be happier with the job they did! The owner, Joey Trucksess, is a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond in helping me out and he was very patient with ALL of my questions before they even started the job. He always returned my calls & texts promptly. The workers did an amazing job removing my old 35+ year old roof (2 layers of bad shingles and bad plywood) and installing a beautiful new roof and vents. They cleaned up nicely every day after they finished working and they completed the whole job in 1 week and 1 day! I got several estimates and checked out other roofing companies, but I was most impressed with JRT Roofing and their referrals. I am so happy I picked them and I would absolutely recommend them to any friend of mine who needs a new roof! THANK YOU for doing a GREAT JOB!!! read more

After having over 5 roof quotes, all of which were similar in materials and price, I ended up going with JRT Roofing. Joey, the owner, spent time with me to break down all my options, best and worst case scenario, and have a timeline laid out for me. The work was exceptional, the materials were solid, the crew was friendly, and Joey came to check on the roof every day of the process. He always picked up my call to answer my questions, which is rare nowadays. The work came in a bit lower in price than he had expected, tell me where you can find that honesty? I am so pleased with my roof and can now rest easy knowing that my family won't have to deal with leaks and repairs. Thank you for the amazing job Joey and JRT Roofing. I will speak highly of you whenever and wherever I go. read more
